Legendary place to be sit and dine! A bit rush but this place is awesome. They serve the best dishes in the city and those are amazingly delicious. Enjoyed the taste and flavour. Price is not that heavy but the portions are good. A family friendly space is there to accommodate family people. Their entrance may be small but the food is great.

A great place for a quick bite. The place is prepaid - so you need to decide what you plan to eat, pay for it, get a ticket and then occupy a seat. The service is quite quick. They have a very limited menu and that helps them dish out items very quickly. The place can get really crowded during peak hours. Their Dosas are great, so is their Upma. I am not a fan of Upmas, but this one was really delicious. Pairs well with their amazing coffee.

'BEST COFFEE I EVER HAD'. It is the one of the oldest restaurants in the town. Very crowded too. They have a tradition of many years and that can be seen in the quality of the food they are serving. Masala dosa and vada was superb. They are serving food at very affordable price. There is no space to park vehicles.

Being one of the oldest restaurants in Thrissur they were always a go to place for having masala dosa or ghee roast. But sadly this time their Ghee roast doesn't had a bit of ghee in it!!! And another difficulty with this restaurant is that there is literally no parking space provided for tje customers. Radhakrishna's dosa used to be one of my favorite dosas in town. But this time all i had was nothing but a disappointment!

Guys this is one of the crowded hotel in the thrissur city. But to be honest the service is Not up to mark. When we get in to there it was very crowded. We need to wait for seat. And the worst thing is... We need to take token and order our food items before getting a seat. There is a family room upstairs. The food was also not up to mark. Waited more than 20-30 minutes for 2 tea, 2 vada and 1 masaldosa. The tea was the only thing which was hot. The masala dosa and vada was not even warm just cold food. Very very Bad experience. Food is absolutely great. But the service is not at all good. They gave me Ghee Roast without chutney.When asked for chutney they made me wait for more than 20 minutes in front of Food. Later one person came and said their is no chutney.Management is not ready to accept their fault😏.They just simply pass on the mistakes to their staff. My second visit to this place. Ordered 4 Idlies and a Vada. The food is pretty cheap just Rs.70 in total. One thing I dislike about this place is only prepaid orders. The drawback here is if you order something and the portion you had is not enough you have go back to counter and order again. I really didn't like these kind of Setup. About food idly is soft liked Sambar and chutney but tea is more of milk taste

So during my early morning walk one fine day, as soon as I reached Swaraj Round, I had my taste buds pushing me for a good poori and sabji (masala). Has tried the menu a few days back at Nalanda, but wasn't a great experience as they tend to give you readymade poori which is cold and brittle. Same experience with New Gopi on Palakkad rd as well. The choice this time worked and I was served hot poori with a tasty combo of sabji / masala. The tea was great too. One thing to note is that they have family service area on the first floor and on ground floor I believe you need to take a coupon after pre payment

One of the best dosa and coffee in Thrissur. It is the dosa batter that sets their dosas apart ,so everything made from that batter be it uthappam dosa idly.. everything tastes nice. Place is usually crowded and doesn't have a dedicated parking and you'll have to pre pay for food. The service is not always great. There is a family hall upstairs where only families are allowed.

One of the highlights of this hotel is the separate private space provided for ladies, which is on the first floor. You need to take token before you eat. They are famous for distributing the leftover food to the destitute and needy. This was how things were in the past, not sure about the present day conditions.

Had ordered food online just now through Swiggy. The packing, the masala dosa, Vada, chappathi all separately in plantain leaves, was so hot and delicious. I am 70 years and since years we enjoy their food very much. The behaviour of the people in the counter, the owners, is very very cordial. The business is also flourishing very well due to the best quality of the food served at very nominal rates and their approach to customers. Masala dosa is my favourite here. I use to visit this restaurant with my family since I was a kid. Only thing I like about this place is there masala dosa 😜. I never seen the serving staffs or the people sitting in the cash counter smiling at customer till this date.

Very bad atmosphere and food. I had ghee roast and coffee with family on 30th July 2023, the food they served was very very very very very bad. I have complained it to the manager, but he didn’t even look at my face. Try some thattukada. That will be much better than this over hyped hotel.

The food is very good.The ambience is so so. There is a upper floor also for this hotel. This is very near to the Municipal corporation office, Thrissur. There is no parking for this hotel. One can take packet of your favourite food home or order food on line through swiggy etc. Overall a nice place to eat outside with moderate rates.

If u r running late and gotta try fast serving dosas this is the place. They serve very limit dishes like three varieties of dosa uthappam idly upma chapathi Puri and tea coffee boost and horlics in very professional and fast serving mode. Gotta go before 9pm. Fast sumptuous tasty and neat.

The restaurant certainly does have an old world charm. Had a Masala Dosa, which was good, nothing to die for. Believe people go there more out of a nostalgic feeling, rather than the taste. Masala dosas actually should not be cooked both sides, but the inside part should get cooked properly. That's where the magic of the batter and the Dosa pan's temperature comes into play. Felt the inside part of the Dosa was a little bit undercooked. Otherwise the Dosa was good. The vadas were crisp and big. Certainly Worth the money.

Located in prime locality ( swaraj round). Found lot of people ( food app) waiting for parcels. Have to take token before having food .So, make up your mind before getting in !! Staple choice of idli, vada, dosa, poori, coffee. Had their famous masala dosa and it was decent one. Dosa was crisp and good quantity of masala inside. Tasted poori. Masala was same for both dosa and poori. Coffee- have tasted better ones. P.S: No parking nearby , so keep that in mind when driving in there. Overall, for a first timer it is a decent hotel with nothing great to write about. But since it is an old one, people of Thrissur and regulars will have some memories attached to it.
