Wait for some long minutes for the parking in the dedicated parking lot. Then you enter the hotel & further wait for few minutes Finally when you find a seat & starts your food, you may not regret. Should say it's the best vegetation food in Thrissur town. Courteous staff too. Rates are similar to all other vegetation restaurants.

A must try restaurant in Thrissur. It’s a very old brand and still they keep their legacy. There are many new restaurants in the city, but, still this is the best veg restaurant. Their food is delicious, service is prompt, ambiance is right, cleanliness is superb 👌 I recently enjoyed masala dosa and Badam milk. Both are their signature products. They have got many awards like ‘best restaurant’, hygienic award etc… Another best part is that their bath rooms are located on a nearby building and is kept away from dining and kitchen area. I will always recommend this restaurant 👍

One of the best veg restaurants in thrissur. Try their masala dosa, its yummy 😋 uzhunna vada and masala bhuri is average. But their sambar, chutney, and chammanthi is outstanding 😁 I recommend to try their Marsala dosa and coffee 😁

Excellent hygiene and value for money, good taste and service and a very good atmosphere. If you are ordering Badam milk, ilayada, or uthappam remember that they are 1.5 times the usual size in other restaurants.

Had their meals for lunch, average food decent service if you want to be seated without delay reach early. The crowd starts pouring in by 1230. One unfortunate thing I got a coconut shell in the side dish they could have checked Clean ambiance good service.

The vada dip was awesome. Its literally soft vada dipped in lassi with mustard and curry leaves. The idli was very soft . The tea also was awesome. A bit disappointed with the ghee roast dosa as it was a bit on the dry side and less of ghee. The chutney was also very loose and not upto mark. Something you wouldn't expect from such a restaurant.

    • One of the tastiest, oldest & famous vegetarian restaurant in Thrissur • All kind of dishes are fresh and clean • They provide both South Indian & North Indian dishes • Excellent customer service • Clean and hygienic places • Also their packing is good • • The only negative is that the place is always crowded and everyone waits to get a seat which shows their demand • They have a good parking space but its a little bit difficult task as the road is too narrow •

Had dinner from here. The waiting is too much. Less parking space. We have to stand behind the table and chair to get a seat. It's really annoying. There is no system to book or take the seat according to the priority. The food quality is good. It's not a place for family dinner. It's a place just to have food where the real enjoyment is not possible because of the rush and congested place.

A heavily crowded restaurant with quality food, but a place where you get zero attention from the waiters even if you try to call them. 'Wait time' is part of the menu here, hence avoid it if you are planning for a quick bite. The food is delicious. I didn't quite enjoy the vada

One of the famous and oldest vegetarian restaurants in Thrissur. I can strongly recommend this place. They provide both South Indian and North Indian items. Vegetables and fruits in the dishes are fresh and clean. Excellent customer service. They won’t take too much time to serve the food. Clean and hygienic place. Negatives - always crowded as it is a demanding place, parking vehicles is a little bit difficult task as the road is narrow.

I had been staying at aura residency and found this hotel to be just walkable distance from the hotel. The hotel was crowded and we had to wait for a seat. For dinner I ordered batura with chola and wife ordered masala dosa along with coffee. Batura was good and curry too but they provide only 1 batura which won't fulfill the appetite. Masala dosa was also good. I liked the coffee but my wife didn't like it. Never day we had Puri and curry which was awesome, alongwith thairuvada or curd vada which was too good for my taste buds. Badam milk we took as parcel was also good. Overall highly recommended.

Food quality is good. But too much waiting time to get the seat. No attention from the staff on whether you get the seat or not. You yourself have to go and stand behind other chairs and get the seat. Its really annoying. Getting seat takes time, completely depends on the rush. Mornings and evenings are really busy. Another problem is the parking, it will be always full, and getting a parking nearby is difficult.

As usual, this location is rather packed. has a strong nighttime rush. I purchased paneer do pyaza and naan. Both in terms of presentation and flavour, it's nice. I will advise purchasing butter paneer rather than paneer do pyaza because it tastes the same and will be less expensive. Different dishes, I felt, but the same food.

Delicious vegetarian food items. Good quality service. Good hygiene. Better go in the evening time. Meals was not satisfactory for me. Ensure you have enough time to spend in waiting at parking then for seating and finally for food. Porotta is not that good. Last time ordered Kadai Paneer and it took more than 45 minutes to serve. So please check with them before ordering.

Good restaurant, Mampazha Pullsseri that served along with meals is super tasty. Sadly not available on all days. Dosa is also nice. But uses jaggery in sambar which is not traditional Kerala style.

The food was amazing. Especially the vegetable stew with Poori Masala, which was out of the world. Masala Dosa was also tasty. The sambar served with Masala Dosa was a bit sweet, and I liked it. Bharath Hotel is already a famous hotel for breakfast. The only thing missing was there was no tissue on the table.

One of the best pure vegetarian hotel and in existence close to 50 years. My experience with their food dates back to 1986/87 as I was working as Sales executive for Premier No.1 clothes company having their headquarters at coimbatore. I used to stay at Sree Budha lodge and have dinner at Bharath. That time all types of north Indian dishes like channa masala, palak paneer, paneer butter masala etc with tandoori roti was available at this place only. The same taste and traditions moreover very courteous behavior by staff and management, make Bharath Hotel a unique one in Thrissur. All the best.

The first time I visited Hotel Bharath was in the year 2000. Not sure how many times I’ve been here afterwards. No change in quality and taste over the years, it’s maintained exactly as it was 24 years before. Normally I would prefer Masala Dosa, but this time tried Appam and Idiyappam along with Stew and Kadala Curry. Spice level was moderate and all items were perfect. Don’t forget to add coffee if you’re coming for breakfast here.

Much needed relief for the Veggies. Every where in Tiruchur , i think mostly in Kerala , both veg n non-veg are served from a same kitchen, which is atrocious to the veggies sentiments n values. Apart from this the dishes are nice. But don't mind to wait for few minutes to get a table

It's the best vegetarian place for our Kerala food. We mainly have their dosa, vada and coffee or lunch. Earlier times north Indian dishes used to be great, now I'm not a great fan of them They have a small car parking area close to it (10 cars max). We usually avoid going there after 7 pm as it will be so crowded and no place to sit Now a days, we also have the option to order online.

Heard about this hotel number of times from my friends. We tried Idly, Ghee Roast, Butter Roti, Panner Butter Masala, Gobi Manchurian, Chappathi, Vada, Pongal, Masala Dosa and Coffee. Coffee is must TRY. All South Indian items were extremely tasty but the taste was average for for the North Indian foods. Sambar was ultimate and the chutney given was below average. Chutney has no flavour or taste. They have limited parking facility. Price was also reasonable. One negative is that it was crowded and the hotel was not managing the crowd properly. People will stand behind the chairs to get their seat. Ambience is good.

Had most suggested Masala dosa from Bharath . Visited at 7.30 am . Crowd was gathering First i would point out the possitives . They manage crowd in an efficent way . Large seating space . Good food One among the best masala i had from Kerala . their cocunut chutney is thick unlike other restaurent .their sambar tasted diffrent and heavily thick😊 and it was good Coffee was also good Negetive are Even though i said it's Best masala dosa but can't say it's a signature dish becuase many restaurants in Thrissur itself provide same quality Masala dosa .One such is Venus restaurant in irinjalkuda And Uzhunu vada i had on that day was average and they charge 20 per piece .20 rs is not worth quality i had But considering they are in center of town and it can be justifiable .

This is one of the busiest vegetarian restaurant in Thrissur district. First of all the food is very good and atmosphere is OKAY. The main problem of this restaurant is because of the rush and people will be waiting for the seats when we are eating. Hardly the seating capacity is 150 people and maybe 200-250 will be there at a time. It is pretty much in the heart of Thrissur and cause of this parking space is available for 30 cars. So I suggest you order it and eat in somewhere else if you don't want to eat like this.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Thrissur in my opinion. Have been visiting here since my childhood..have tried almost every dish...the dish i would regularly is paneer butter masala and roti/Nan or Kerala porotta / chapati. The meals are also delicious. Curd vada( thyr vada ) is also one of the favourites among people. Not to mention, the service is friendly and good. The disadvantage I find is the huge crowd regardless of the day and time . We might have to wait several minutes to get a seat which might be annoying at certain times. But still hotel bharath would still be my first option when eating out 😄

My favourite vegetarian dining place in Thrissur especially for breakfast and supper. Have been frequenting this place for the past 30 years and it is like homecoming to step within its humble rooms each time we make it to the place. The hotel has not been facelifted and its facilities remain as it was always. It is extremely neat and clean. The crowd is always thick and at night s we have to wait outside or in the aisles to grab a seat. Generous portion sizes and excellent taste to items served...my personal favourite s being their curd vada in the morning and ela ada in the evening. I also enjoy their coffee much. Courteous and friendly staff and ample parking with crew to guide the vehicles. Its location in the heart of Thrissur town behind Ragam Theatre is also extremely convenient.

Food and meals are good here. But since they are already established as a good hotel with nice food, they lack customer service. I am sharing my personal experience here. My family of 6 people went there to dine together. This constituted of my father aged 79, mother aged 77, aunt aged 86 along with my wife and daughter. We stood at the front area for some time, no one cared to ask why we are standing there or cared to give suitable seats for us. We go out to dine together not to eat something separately. Next they told meals area is in next room and they asked us to get seated separately. We dined at Sree Vigneswara Hotel just opposite to Bharath and is nice hotel with good customer service and budget friendly rates.

They are literally branding stuffs. I used to go here when I were little. And I can say that quantity and quality is amazingly degraded. The main dish "Chilli gobi" that I used to love is somewhat just a made up stuff nowadays.. The price got much higher & quality much lower. We have other good restaurants which have better taste than here and it costs less.. Seriously checking the bill, GST(13rs) +container (8)+ paper bag (6!) Will nearly costs to 50rs!! Funny they don't have home delivery..

Food is top notch , no more to comment on that. Parking also good although they do not have care for the vehicle parked. But the crowd inside hotel is too much. Either they must extent or allow only ad per table numbers. People are waiting in queue around our table , watching us to finish our food fast so they can sit. Kinda awkward when kids and families stare at you during eating food and wanting us to finish fast, although we didn't. Allowing too much people inside to form a crowd.

Visit to this place was nostalgic, brought back memories of the days when my father used to take me there when I was young. Now 20years later, I went there with my wife and children. There was ample parking space dedicated for their customers. The interior was more spacious than before and still very clean. It was late in the afternoon and yet almost all seats were occupied. Service was swift. Food was damn good and not at all costly. We all enjoyed the experience very well.

Over crowded and over rated. It was told to us that they were one of the best in Thrissur area. But to be frank, I kind of felt they were okay... That's all. The place is very clean, hygienic, and the food is also up to the mark. But cannot be said as the ultimatum and all. Rates are also reasonable, compared to the facilities. The washrooms are pretty clean and well maintained. Would suggest the place while on a journey and all.

Loved the vegetarian food served here On my sabarimala yatra it was very hard to find a vegetarian restaurant enroute to sabarimali temple this is one of the finest hotel offering delicious food at a relatively affordable rates I ended up in this restaurant based on the Google reviews and we ordered tomato soup, butter roti and mushroom pepper masala which was extremely tasty and veg fried rice followed by their signature hot badam milk was filling Even though the restaurant was buzzing with customers around 8pm the restaurant staff were helpful in accommodating my fellow yatris 14 in count with suitable table arrangements Overall i rate it 4⭐ off 5, the only reason for this rating is that the restaurants washing area and washroom were not well maintained, i hope the management takes care of this

Blown away by the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. We had South Indian meals, and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The flavors were so complex and well-balanced, and the portions were generous. The service was also excellent and staffs were attentive. They also offers both white and brown rice.

This vegetarian restaurant truly excels in offering scrumptious dishes that cater to diverse taste buds, all at moderate prices. Its popularity is evident from the constant crowds that flock to enjoy the tantalizing flavors on offer. However, due to the high demand, you may need to wait for a table, especially during peak hours. One drawback to be aware of is the lack of a proper waiting area or an organized seating system for those who arrive first. This can result in having to wait near diners who are already eating, which may be an uncomfortable experience for some. Despite this inconvenience, the restaurant's delicious food makes it well worth a visit. If they can address the waiting area and seating arrangement issues, it has the potential to become an even more sought-after dining destination for vegetarians and food lovers alike

The food in Thrissur is undeniably fantastic, and one of the prominent players in this culinary world is The Bharath. Their idlis are incredibly soft, the masala dosa is scrumptious, and the tea made from thick milk has a unique and delightful taste. The restaurant is reasonably priced, clean, and definitely worth revisiting. It's worth noting that their sambhar has a sweet taste, which is different from the typical Kerala style. All in all, it's a great place to enjoy delicious food and a pleasant dining experience.

Everybody knows the quality of food here. The taste is not extraordinary as compared to before. I should mention that in the morning time, it’s too much crowded. You cannot have your breakfast peacefully, somebody will be waiting to finish your meal to grab the chair, it’s really make me uncomfortable. Sometimes you have to wait too long for getting a seat.

The restaurant on its own is one of the most famous and crowded vegetarian restaurants in the city. But the security and billing counter staff behaviour can be much less rude and arrogant to provide an appreciable dining experience. Also the wash areas are really messy and dirty.

A splendid cuisines hotel with scrumptious veg dishes. One of the most popular and favorite vegetarian hotel in Thrissur is Bharath, which is easily accessible by any mode of travel since it is located at the heart of the city. As it ha's high demand and due to quality of food, the hotel is always full, that make the gourmet to wait for a long time, which I found the only problem. It might be the delay in food preparation. However, we never get despair even if we had to wait for a long time.
