They had good service until few years ago but right now, the main issue with them is the customer service. They are really prompt with the billing for obvious reasons but the service is pathetic. To add a few more, the nurses aren't qualified enough to understand the psychology of the patients. The doctors are really polite and humble and great with the service but the nurses have some next level attitude. The floor attendants are very casual with the amenities. People shift to private hospitals and are ready to pay more for the service, but what more can we do than pay. There should be some. Positivity from there side too.

Surprisingly a neat hospital.. maintained well.. Good service. Plenty of space for seating. Reasonable billing. Rooms are decent.. spacious with necessary amenities. Would definitely prefer daya over other hospitals in Thrissur.

Had to undergo a surgery in my hand due to spurting bleeding from a wound. From the moment i reached causality department until i got discharged i was taken care extremely well by all the nurses and doctors. I would like to mention the names of nurse Liffin, Dr Amjad and Dr Emil Joseph and the nurses in operation theater(dont know their names) in particular. They made me feel so comfortable with their extreme care and service. Hospital has all facilities and its clean and well maintained.

I am immensely satisfied with my experience at Daya hospital this morning. The staff at the reception counter were very cordial and the registration formalities were completed fast. My experience at the doctor's room was equally pleasant. The doctor who examined me, Dr. Abdul Aziz was very kind and reassuring. I had gone there anticipating a series of tests. But it wasn't even mentioned. The whole thing took only less than forty five minutes. I wish to place on record my appreciation for the nice way patients are treated at Daya hospital.

Their aim to provide the best service to patients making them as comfortable as possible was truly felt by my parents, my siblings and I. There are no words to describe my gratitude towards the Doctors, Nurses and Care staff for being able to treat each and every patient as if they were providing care for their own family members. I am back stateside and I am provided with updates on the continuous care my parents are given, giving me a sense of peace. To know that you & your family have such an experienced, professional and compassionate team of individuals taking care of your parents every need is truly a blessing one can only hope for and the team at Daya strives to make that a reality every day. Once again, I cannot thank the palliative/privilege care teams for everything they have and continue to do for my family. Rewriting a previously written positive review based on the experience post discharge. The staffs were very cordial during the admission process until the bills were paid off (huge amount) and asked us to give a positive google review. Post discharge when I visited the hospital for a follow up review of my new born the” very cordial staffs” were no more interested in showing the same attention and care. I had asked for a lounge access since my new born was just 20 days old and there were lot of ppl around with cough n fever. The staff first said we had to pay 500 rupees and when I went to book the lounge the staff said it is 5000 rupees. Later I understood it was a slip of tongue from the staffs side and it was actually 500 rupees only. But the hospital management blamed us for the miscommunication from their staffs side when we raised this issue. Highly disappointed to learn such medical institutions try to lure customers purely with business interest.

Excellent service. Staff welcome with pleasing and helping face. Once we see their smiling face and we feel comfortable and 50% recovery from the illness without seeing Doctor. The doctors I consulted are very good .

Thanks to Dr.Arun.S.Nair and his team. Special mention to Shiny who has extended her care above and beyond. The hospitality is good and never had a bad experience. Every nurse was like go to person and they never showed their face at any circumstances .

Good doctors, but poor administration… bystander don’t have any rooms for 3 days… finally icu patient cannot be brought outside as they don’t know where the key is… poor drastic management… the doctor told the patient can be shifted to icu by 4pm, but the management didn’t provide room till 8pm, finally discussed again and again and got the room. Once room is ready icu sister needs paper work for 2 hours… there is lots of gap which management need to fill up. There is no value for customer happiness.

I would like to express my words on daya hospital especially gastro team...gastro department doctors and nurses are real angels because they care and treat very well . it doesn't mean remaining department staffs are not good... here I spended 4 days with gastro team that's why I'm telling like this. I forgot one important person in daya hospital... shyni -public relative officer, her character and support is very very superb and me and my family fully thankful to shyni. because she arrange every document works and starting to ending she stand with every patients... after discharging also she keeps relation with all patients... Anyway thank you daya hospital team for giving the best treatment. Thank you thank you so much❤

Good doctors and nurses especially senior nurses. Parking is free. Food court is good. No rooms or wards. Keep that expectation Cleaning staff will clean twice in a day Admission desk and reception is pathetic. They just show attitude if they are helpless. Not at all professional Crowd is saying every department if need to be acted you need to bug them every 10 minute which is so weird. Getting doctors letter for insurance desk (admission letter or discharge summary) will take minimum 3 hours. Because it is old process like doctor will write in a paper, nurse will type in computer, then doctor will review if everything ok, he will sign. Nurses will not be expert in typing so automatically time taken. Even ICU , patient food is responsibility of bystander, old school style( no option to order food). If it is kid, one bystander should be with kid in ICU, so that they cant eat food for 24 hours. I have taken discharge in 24 hours of discharge, only by realizing i dont have energy to followup and fight with them. Insurance amount even if it is approved fully(HDFC ergo) you need to pay 10% just ensure them they will get that approved amount after 2 months. If they get, you can come and collect that money if you still have that reciept of advance payment) you neednto keep calling them until it get settled.

Very happy to share that my experience at the hospital was very good everywhere in thr hospital. In the last 9 months, I had to be an inpatient for 5 times and had 3 operations connected with gastro. Right from OP to admission, lab, operations and all areas they are very professional in patients care, hospital administration, nursing care, room service, doctors empathy, insurance & billing etc. Except for the crowded canteen, hospital has the facilities of a five star health care institution. I visited Daya General Hospital on 14 Jun 2023, I met with and accident and had multiple fractures on my right leg, a quick surgery was conducted the following day and everything went well and I am recovering very quick. I was very impressed by the quality of care and service provided by the hospital staff and doctors. Hospital PRO Malini was very helpful and courteous throughout the admission and discharge process. She answered all my queries and explained the procedure and costs clearly. Orthopedic surgeon Harish Valsan performed the surgery with great skill and expertise. I have availed the service of this hospital for a minor surgery for my Son. Satisfied with the service support offered by reception, information counter out patient Department, Dr consultation, nursing support etc. Suggestion: The insurance division here should equip to explain the queries of customers with convincing reason. Since my wife couldn't go to the hospital for a daily administration of an injection, I had sought the services of Daya's Palliative care unit for a home service . The nurse from the unit did a wonderful job in providing the service. She made the patient very comfortable with her communication and also with her service.

Their support in organizing and conducting medical tests was efficient, and their handling of administrative work was commendable. Basic life support (BLS) training tutored by Mr. Abdul Basheer was very comprehensive and informative. He made the session really engaging. Participants were also given hands-on training.

Daya Hospital has well established processes, right from patient registration, in-house treatment and during follow up visits. Also it's a well maintained hospital. The hospital has an excellent hospitality team lead by Gayathri. They keep moving around to help you as you enter the hospital and provide you very good support. I have not come across such an efficient hospitality team in any other hospital in Kerala. Medical, non medical as well as administrative staff, including the security persons, are very courteous, attentive and caring. In health care, mental health has a very important role. How the patients feel about "how well looked after they are", help in faster recovery. I had that comfort feeling right from the first day I entered the hospital, during the treatment as well as followup visits.

I contacted the hospital from Bangalore when my cousin sister tested positive for COVID. Starting from the pick up and drop on the day 1 for antibody infusion and the urgent ambulance service the next day when the patient became very sick next, I didn’t have any cause for worry. I have been going to Daya hospital for the past few years mainly for my aged parents. Slowly we all have started availing treatments from Daya hospital. Over the years and during these tough times the service has improved, quality in care has improved and cleanliness too. The doctors and staff are cordial and compassionate. Earlier we had to go to Cochin for better treatment, whereas now we can relax, and so can the people in and around thrissur for Daya gives good treatment.

It is one of the best hospital in the city. I have gone through a surgery in the hospital, the gastro team provided me great care and treatment. Dr Raviram, Dr Sreejith, Sisira the entire team was superb. I should mention the nursing staff, they are the best in terms of caring. Hassle free hospital experience. There are dedicated staff to look after each patient. I think there is a dedicated department only for assistants. Thanks to GRE Ms. Swathy, she did all work for my son's doctor visit at ENT department.

It was a very good experience. It does not feel like a hospital compared to other hospitals. The service of the doctor and other staff was very good. I was shown by Dr. Sreejith, a gastro specialist. The doctor's behavior was very positive. And well understood. It was PRO Shiny madam who helped me there. This is the first time I have been to the hospital alone.I did not have any problems with it. When I go to normal hospitals, I get the impression that I am in the hospital. But it was not here .The bathroom was very clean though. There were no difficulties of any kind.

Daya Hospital is one of the most leading Hospitals in thrissur town. It provides excellent comprehensive medical care to patients. My wife was admitted in the facility due to covid. She experienced it's wonderful service during her stay. The whole team was very professional and helpful. Further more ,we had to attend the outpatient departments several times where we really experienced the dedicated service of the main receptionist ,Sanu Devassy .Her warm welcome, prompt service, guidance and cooperation to be appreciated. I have admitted in daya hospital for a emergency surgery on 03/10/2022 , Monday Evening. Even it was a critical and urgent surgery, I got a timely medical support and consultation from Emergency department, Reception , Ortho department and after all from 2B nursing staffs. They are really supported us both in the way of medically and mentally. Also Thank you so much insurance department team for the quick response and clearance of discharge procedures. Doctors and nurses are very nice , little expensive. Neat and clean, Lot of car parking but none maintenance bathroom Lot of Mosquitos 🦟 They are not provide bathroom in second floor, I search for bathroom but I can't see the bathroom. Then I got the ground floor

First  time at Daya General Hospital & Surgical Centre.  It was a  good experience for me, Thanks to the entire team. Great medical  office, wonderful  and warm experience from start to finish.  I was welcomed  with friendly staff especially P.R.O Malini, she was very helpful throughout my all visits. And also loved how Dr.Balu Mohan and Dr Abdul Azeez really took their time to explain my health conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I would have no qualms in recommending them to anyone.

I appreciate the promptness and professionalism of the Consultant and staff provided to my Father in law upon arrival at the ED on 26th July 2023. Due care was given from , though admission to ICU was delayed due to lack of bed. Some observations that I noted: 1. Triage, TOT, cleanliness, were all good 2. Though spacious, EM seems to be too crowed due to continuous inflow. 3. Though nursing staff seems to be adequate, there is definitely lack of doctors in the place. 2 doctors in a shift of 8 hours is too much to bear. One the main reason of burnout as they have to work continuously in the charged environment

I have visited your Hospital after two years. I found the quality of everything much better and professional. The cleanliness despite heavy rains outside, the Staff behaviour and helpfulness of your reception, your token system, Doctors behaviour, Food court... In all I felt deeply satisfied
