Wont recommend for families...No pros for this place.. And listing below the cons.. (1)Untidy rooms. Not maintained.. Floors were full of dust and webs. (2)No water heater available in bathrooms (this one available even in lodges) (3)No intercom facility. (4)marked Voltage fluctuations and electricity failure. AC wont work perfectly (5)only small queen size beds are available in all rooms. Not suitable for families (6)stray dogs even in our room premises. Pic attached..beware if you are there with your kids.. And lots more are there... Not worth even for ₹500..Total disaster... If there is an option i would have given 0 star review. The reviews here are fake ones.. That was posted by there families and friends i think..

Overall, The serene surroundings coupled with impeccable service made our family group stay truly memorable. Accommodation: The rooms though very basic with limited amenities were cozy, clean, and provided a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and lake. The attention to detail in room exteriors maintenance was refreshing. Dining Experience: The cook Mr. Tanuj Sha at Mountain Lake Resort deserves special recognition to cater for the broad family group demands with a mix of items ranging from local Kerala cuisines to pan Indian items. The Manager of the resort Mr. Suresh Kalyani went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a delightful experience. Their attentiveness to guests' needs and dedication to providing top-notch service was truly commendable. Housekeeping Team: The housekeeping team ( Prince, Sunil Kumar, Samir Das) at Mountain Lake Resort deserves heartfelt appreciation for their dedication and commitment to be available at a call to provide their services. As mentioned the Resort comes with only basic amenities and hence more the need of prompt manual services. The property comes with Large hall at an additional price which can be utilised for various games, activities and group dining. Attached Swimming pool is small one, just ideal for small kids upto 7 years old. Overall, our stay at Mountain Lake Resort was nothing short of exceptional reserving the whole resort for my family group of 22 pax. The combination of breathtaking scenery, exceptional service, and the genuine warmth of the staff made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with exceptional service specifically for a large group.

It’s a medium luxury resort situated in the banks of Poomala reservoir. The reservoir and the dam can be seen from the resort. The resort costs 2000-5000 approx. Cycling and small trekking can be done. Partaking is available for cars. The morning view from the resort is very refreshing. Nov - Jan will be nice time stay here as the climate also will be nice. Food also available. Recommend for family, and friends get togethers.

Bad bad resort 👏🏻 from enquiry call itself got that bad vibe . I called this resort for booking a room , with a candle light dinner . That guy I clearly remember his name, Mr.Sebastian 😡I don’t know what he thinks about himself . From starting itself his way of talking is irritating. I asked to book a room with a candle light dinner .but what he told me is candle light dinner won’t be available. If I want want food I need to buy it from the way am coming to the resort. And room rent is 5000 . No food no other activities or amenities. I was ready to pay for candle light dinner. It was my wedding anniversary actually. Thank god from beginning itself I realized it won’t works . So I booked another one From same poomala itself.

Excellent. One of the best value for money resort. Nice ambiance. we are couple and we selected cave room. i laso requested to management team for arranging some decaration. They arranged us as per our request . I want to give surprise to my partner for her birthday on aug 23. They arranged cave room with baloon, candle light, bed with full of rose. they created nice ambiance. Thank you to mangement team and each staff for great harwork snd supporting us for arrange room as per my requirement....

Mountain lake resort at poomala is a better suggestion for family getogethers. I went there with my family recently, for my mother's bday party. Their staffs are so amiable. Good customer service and Delicious food. Also amazing stay. The lake view from the balcony is so warmth. Am totally happy with the stay. I hope all types of stay will be enjoyable there.

The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the lake and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. It felt like a private space, clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Amazing location for get-together's. Mr.Sebastine's was very friendly and he briefed us about the location. He made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. No cleanliness, rooms are full of dust and spiders. Hospitality at its worst level. No extra activities nothing but thank god.....tariff is toooo high. I don't seen in any of the resorts or hotels that their kitchen is closing by 8.30pm. Here its happens too.

🤦‍♂️🤢🤮what a sad experience there, i booked for a non ac and he , that man said it is cottage type ...but it was a normal non ac room. Flush is not working ...leakage is there so room is smelling . When i said this , his response was like blah blah...commom , we are paying you ,3000 for this below normal rooms. Not happy with this .customer service also need to be improve alot

Worst one guys… don’t go to this resort… I went there to book the resort…. After long time a man wore lungi and T-shirt came into the reception… I asked about the concern person and he himself introduced as the Operation manager..this is the first time am seeing a manager in lungi and tshirt … leave it …when I asked the details like room ,food and extra activities he is don’t even know about it clearly…I felt something is wrong about the entire atmosphere and that guy’s attitude…also very rude behavior. And tariffs are more more expensive. Actually it won’t worth it . Food is not available. No extra activities. But tariffs is too high and arrogant attitude. DON’T CHOOSE IT 👏🏻

Perfect place for staycation with family and friends. This place is located at the banks of poomala dam with nature driven environment. The staffs were so friendly and there service was so satisfying.Regarding the food no words to describe,such tasty it was. Planning to visit again with my family. Thanks to all staffs.

Visited this place based on my previous stay here about a year back. But the entire impression changed this time. That place is totally ruined now. Poorly managed . Poorly cleaned. No sanitization and no cleanliness. Staff behaved very poorly and the rooms are not maintained well. They fail to provide all basic amenities and charges are comparatively high for the service they provide. We were so unfortunate to find a used condom inside one of the AC rooms that cost Rs.3000 and when asked about it the staff behaved pretty rude Will never recommend this place to family or friends.

Pros: We found this property as one of the best choice for those who want to relax, hideout & refresh your mood. The Ambience, the beautiful nature, the arrangements, friendly staff & reasonable price makes this property the best hub in Thrissur. Apt for family, bechelors, long riders as well. Cons: Nothing much. You need to consider the climate/season when you book for more beautiful experience.

Searching and surfing the internet for our anniversary dinner we came upon this beautiful resort.My calls for enquiry were answered by Mr rajesh who was more than willing to arrange a surprise for us.And i am more than happy to say that it was the best choice i made.Run by a group of energetic and passionate youngsters they have developed this property in an artistic way.On top of that customer satisfaction was their priority.Inspite of being a partner Mr rajesh personally received us with warmth and created a near perfect ambience for us to unwind. Candle light dinner with floral decor and earthern lamps on the balcony of their room was lovely. I don't think so...its rainy season now. It's quite usual this bugs use to come . But it wont harm us. I took a stay in munnar last month . This same thing happened there too... but they didn't care this actually. And took a room in this Property the next week with my friends. And one of friend , she is bit scared of this small insect . But what happened here is, they send staff and remove all those insects at that spot. But after some time its again coming. They cant do anything in that. Its usual in this rainy season. Here atleast they care . Somewhere they wont care. And moreover its depends. From my opinion I was happy here. Even my friends too...
