They charge you for everything but do not know how to behave, PRO and security staffs are rude when they do not have logical answers to your questions. They want to loot you for even a very basic thing. They make you wait for everything and finally you get exhausted and you try to agree with them in all aspects, if you get admitted I bet you they are gonna bill medicine like crazy on top of it the food is so bad that you will feel like escaping from the hospitals. I have got my entire family treated there, they are just not worth it. It’s just that this is the only hospital in that area so they take advantage of this fact. I sincerely recommend if you seriously want to get a good footfall in your hospital then please control your PRO Dept. And respect your patient not their money.

Worst & heartbreaking experience from the doctoral service from Dr.George Mathew ( General & Laproscopic Surgery) and Dr.Anil.P.John (Gastroenterology). Dr.Anil insulted so badly and shut me off as if I was lying with my chronic and acute symptoms. During this pandemic who wish to go to the hospital frequently if there wasn’t a manageable issue and need a doctor for finding? I wish to rate a 0 . So disappointing & Not again to this hospital.

Our daughter was delivered here.. 10 days before due date. Every thing was fine in scanning. But Doctor told that Normal delivery not possible and need to do c-section. She was in Operation Theater, they broke her water manually. I seriously doubt that they did this on purpose. My wife had insurance, that why they did this. Do believe what ever doctor says. These people are selfish.

Very very poor nursing care, absulutly management had appointed in experinced nurses.large majority of the nursing staff at this hospital are either freshers or trainees from the nursing college. The doctors here are experienced and well-mannered, but the nurses very bad attitude. You can't see a nurse with a smiling face. Once you are here, you have the chance to go through all the machines for a ride. Very sad to say that, this mission hospital was so close to our heart had become now to a modern (cash making institute).

Best hospital to give cardiac shocks to the bystanders.. .. Keep up the good works. All staffs are traffic police inside, guide you here and there as you were part of a treasure hunt. Please avoid this hospital for Covid vaccination. I went to this hospital today afternoon for Covid vaccination after booking through COWIN portal in the 2 to 4 slot which was the only available slot for this hospital in the portal. I also called up the hospital to double check if the vaccine is available. I reached there around 02:30 pm and was asked to wait outside where few others were also waiting. After 10 minutes, 2 people were called in. The rest of us (around 5) were asked to wait in the reception area. 2 more people came later so total 7 of us were there now. At 3 pm, I asked the PRO how long we should wait and he told they are waiting for a total of 10 people to come and only 7 were there now. The wait continued. At 03:30, another person asked the same question and got the same reply. There was not even one person to attend to the people who were waiting there. Two out of the seven who were waiting left the place at 03:45 after throwing away the token to the security person. I asked the receptionist what is happening and she again repeated the same 10 number requirement and that now there are only 5 of us. The PRO came to the scene at 4 pm and told he is helpless and that they cannot initiate vaccination for the 5 of us. So one and a half hours of waiting ended up for nothing. Such a pathetic service. Please go to some government hospital where you get free vaccination and better service. If you need private hospital, please avoid this hospital at any cost. Go to some good hospital in Kottayam instead.

Visited St Thomas hospital after a gap of four years and really felt a lot of difference. Overall it looks much more organised and systematic . Those who are visiting the hospital never felt that they are strangers ,there is a helping hand every where ,from those includes security guards ,reception staffs and nurses etc. There is proper facilities for the patients including,waiting area,toilets,coffee shops,parking facilities . Also the doctors and support staffs were very supportive and explains in detail all the pros and cons of the treatments . Appreciate the efforts by Hospital Management in bringing this institute to higher levels.

My name is Litty and I have a very good experience with this hospital. My sister was admitted there with bowel perforation and her condition was very critical. Dr George Mathew was her surgeon and he did a great job. It was a medical emergency and he was able to bring her back to life. He was very compassionate and approachable. Explained everything and updated us on a regularly basis. I am a critical care nurse in Southern California and I was really impressed by the care provided by doctors and nurses from this hospital. All the doctors, nurses and other hospital staff were very compassionate and took very good care of my sister. I been to different hospitals in Kottayam area and among them this hospital is family friendly and with dedicated doctors and nurses. Doctors are really great. But some of the nursing staffs are very rude & arrogant. These are the areas which needs special attention from hospital authority: 👉 FEEDING ROOM : Please make available 3 or 4 chairs in feeding room near the peadeatric (OP section). Feeding mothers has to wait for hours to get into feeding room due to non availability of chairs. 👉PHARMACY : There is long queues in front of pharmacy. I think this issue is from long and management is not taking appropriate action. If I had not paid money upfront in pharmacy, would have left. Please don't put your email for registering complaint underneath this review because I have already complained and still the same pathetic condition prevails in pharmacy

Best hospital in kottayam, I had really good experience when my mother got admitted here for surgery. The staff and doctors were helpful and friendly. Insurance paper work was take care by the hospital insurance dept. They did an amazing job and this made check-in really smooth.

This is a hospital where there is no compromise in the field of spiritual atmosphere and Hygiene. They try to give most modern medical care through expert doctors who are very humane with the patients. The doctors give their service ever out of their duty time with a brotherly love. The administration system also is open to many charitable deeds which give special concern to poor deserving people .

Wish the hospital can hire or train their security team to be more professional in their services rather than just acting like rowdy which is an ultimate turn off for the hospital. Due to this the level of hospitality/service that can expected from such a well runned hospital is turning pathetic which includes the PRO. I don't have much complaints for the doctors here but from my experience some of their diagnosis can turn wrong which can make us critical if we depend them as an only option. Including my experience from Maria doctor who is the well experienced gyanaec there but the year of service won't make you more outstanding if you don't update with the present happenings.Take care of the patient and their enquiries especially if they are a first time Mom, counsel them and try to understand if there are any risk for them which can be prevented rather than just checking weight/bp and looking at the scan and giving less than one minute for the mother to understand about how the child inside is doing..... Which made me to change the hospital itself in between my maternity period. I tried consulting with her till 20 week just because this was my second time pregnancy but compared to my first time delivery experience with their previous doctor Maya which was beautiful ..this made me to change the hospital itself....

Good hospital.. Slightly pricey as privately owned but with some good doctors and staff.. Security peraonnels are especially helpful.. It also has its own nursing school in the campus under the same christian management..

On 12.09.21 we took my wife to this hospital she was covid postive and six months pregenant..we call hospital and asked weather we can bring her there they said OK. And also said Dr. Divya Louis will attend...but when we brought her to the hospital no doctor attended her, only nurse checked her BP and gave her some medication....please avoid such hospitals

Imagine the receptionist at the covid vaccination center having the last laugh, just because they were able to make me wait till the end for registration on the second floor. Why? Because I objected on being asked to wait for registration until all 10 arrive after payment. We were accumulated as 10 in the waiting hall below before being sent to the billing counter. So why wait? Then the receptionist asked me to come to their counter to do the registration, while the male guy sitting to their right did all the rest of the registration. There were 3 of them at the reception, and they made sure that I was the last one to leave the counter, and they had a victory smile on their face! No matter how good the ambience of the hospital is, the main thing is how you treat the people!

Give very good behavior and 5 star rating to all hospital staff, especially nurses. But the behavior and attitude of security personnel is very cheap. Especially a security guard, I do not know his name, but he was on morning duty at the canteen side gate on 27/09/21 (Monday).So kindly avoid this type of staff's....🙏

Went with my 3 yr old boy with chest infection. We went for nebulization. We had done covid test for him since he had cough just to make sure it's not anythg bad....even with a negetive result they refused to give him.nebulisation....can understand they are taking care as covid is spreading,but my son was heavily veezing and they didn't show any sympathy..I even asked them to re take covid test if required for which they agreed at first ,but after 20 mins of standing out in cold with my son they came and told they won't help and we need to leave.... thankfully udayagiri hospital accepted us and gave him treatment.

Very very poor and bad experience ..too much expensive...and also security services are too much bad..there talkings and all we got irritate too much..bad experience overall.

I am very proud to share my experience in this hospital. I was admitted with a serious spleen injury due to which i had internal bleeding and 4 of my ribs were fractured all of which happened in an accident. I was only able to survive this due to the blessings of God and treatment of the doctors especially Dr. George Mathew sir , Dr. Murali Sir ,Dr. Cyril sir and all the kind nurses. I thank each and every one of you for the care and support you have given me. I was able to fight this and got cured within a very short span of time .

It is a good hospital with good doctors. The rates for treatment is reasonable and there is ample space for car parking as well. The security guards will help us for anything and the general coordination is really good inside the hospital. They follow all covid protocols well and can serve as a great first line hospital for our health issues

My daughter at once took me to the near by hospital and from there I was referred to St. Thomas Hospital, Chethipuzha and got admission under Dr.Dileepkumar G. He is an excellent doctor with cent percent commitment. He made me fit and discharged. Actually I got a 2nd life. All staff in this hospital are very much dedicated. My mother got good care and treatment from the department of orthopedics especially from Dr Rogi Boban and his team .He was very caring and compassionate to her that she finds an affectionate son in him. My mother was very scared of surgeries and she was reluctant to undergo any surgeries suggested to her including knee replacement or shoulder bone replacement since 2013 . But Dr. Roji surprisingly convinced her about it even in our absence. We, her children are abroad and are surprised by her decision to undergo the surgery as well as her improvement all through the treatment. And even now a couple of months after the surgery , Dr. Roji is still in touch with my mother enquiring about her improvement after physiotherapy and still providing possible tips to improve her general health. God bless him and his team.

We had a bad experience when we had to wait 2 hours for an abdominal scan.Eventhough , we informed staff about the discomfort to hold urine no action was done and had to wait more time. A very good hospital with good doctors and polite staff. Overall Good ambience and neat. They always give priority to old aged , new moms, pregnant ladies etc while waiting for doctor’s appointments at OP. Even if there is a rush, we can have the sms facility when our token is nearing and by that time we can reach and consult our doctor.

We have had many good experiences at this hospital. My parents have always been taken care of well by all the doctors. They are also very considerate of their age. My dad had a serious brain surgery two years back. Dr Sajan and physio Abin have and still continue to take good care of him. They treat him just like a family member. They go well beyond their call of duty, and we feel blessed to have them in our lives.

I was very surprised to see that St. Thomas hospital in our small town has such an amazing customer service.! I was in the UK for over 15 years and from the past one year I'm with my parents here at changancherry. And one thing I know for sure is the private hospitals here in India is all about business and is always full of themselves. I'm telling you this because I have experienced it. But this time I had a different experience and I wanted to share it because it is easier to complain when something goes wrong and it takes time and effort to appreciate when you see something good. Maybe other hospitals can make an example of this one. Anyway. My mom is very old, she recently had a major operation and to be honest I was scared to take my already vulnerable mom to any hospital because of Covid situations. However, since she can't miss her routine checkup, two days ago, I had to book her an appointment with Doctor ..... I got a text message confirming my booking which is normal these days for anything and everything. But the next day (ie., yesterday- her appointment day) I've got a reminder, then a status of my OP token. At first I ignored it but then I've got messages when the doctor started his OP, followed by, again, the current token status. Now, that is something new! They sent the token status every now and then. I was already dressed and ready to go to the hospital as I didn't know about these messages. So, I drove my mom to the hospital and waited in the parking I also got an intimation when the my token was just few tokens away from being called. Minutes later another one when the token called. I took my mom inside, didn't wait or sit any where, but went straight to the doctor's room. Finished consultation and quickly I took my mom away from the hospital and made her wait in the car so that I can get her medicines from Pharmacy. If it wasn't for that service, me and mom would've ended up sitting infront of the doctor's room where it is hard to maintain social distancing. This is such a thoughtful service that you're providing especially when the pandemic now is in the stage of community spread. Great job 👏 and I sure am staying home untill my token is nearing when I book next.

Irresponsible OP booking.

We had a very bad experience there. They just shifted the patient who got a major surgery to the room without letting the by stander know. And the patient left there alone for an hour and he needs to walk to the nurses station to get someone(just the day after he got the surgery we supposed to walk). The nurses call alarm wasn't working too. Later we complained the bad experience with the PRO in the hospital but they haven't take a mind to check and also we reported a bad rating on the feedback form also but they haven't asked as why we reported such a low rating.

Best hospital in town with a vast doctory assembly with enough experience and diagnostic capabilities. They got almost all treatments and got sophisticated lab to get all the tests done. covid test antigen and cptr too is available at 650 and 2100 respectively. Got a nice neat campus and they got a nursing college and cafeteria serves good food at affordable rates

Hospital is ok. I gave 12 visit so far. i only have one issues- u ask reception, nurses, anyone any questions. And it seems they only know 10-15%... I had 4 good experiences during 6months.. I visited this hospital twice in june month and it was a good experience. 4 star because of 2 doctors I met. One of them - Dr. Maya - gynaecologist - she gave a detailed explanation, gave pros & cons of my queries, answered my queries, very polite and professional too. Gave me an overview, with confidence, that i am fine and can b ahead too. Now, everyone has their experience.
