The place absolutely amazing. The early morning is the best time for the vibe. You can also vist at evening. The price was Rs 500 for kayaking from Naalumanikattu park to Mangroive forest. Due to heavy aquatic plants blocking the path at Naalumanikattu they start the kayaking event from Chettuva bridge. The boarding point is below the bridge. ( The image attached is edited one)

Superb view. Hearts off to the effort of developing such a vast area of mangroves. It’s home for multiple species of birds. Definitely try a boat ride through the mangroves… mind blowing experience!!

This place is Kerala's largest stretch of mangroves. It was a breathtaking view of lush greenery. An active habitat of many wetland birds. The vibe here is quite difficult to explain in words. A must visit place in Thrissur, Kerala.

Located in the backwaters of Chettuva, this forest is very dense with mangroves. It is not suitable to enter inside because of no dry land. It is totally swampy. Lot of birds can be seen around. Some resorts are nearby which offers recreational activities like boat trips in the backwaters etc. A toddy shop is located in the southern shore.

Looks great! I couldn't go inside, because I was on a houseboat-puravanchi. It is a resort for the waterbirds to nest, and many other migratory birds.

I came here by 5 30 a.m. today (14/05/2023). But, they said that they have cancelled the boating. And only using the place as a hospital now. Disappointment 😞.
