The food is super delicious, especially the curd vada! But every items are little overpriced, but I'll go there just for the curd vada!! Main drawback is the untidy washrooms which spoiled my whole mood last time!

My Husband, Son and myself had been to here.Its a wonderful place in Thrissur to have excellent food. My Dad had introduced us to this hotel and hence there is an emotional attachment to this hotel as well. The service person were very friendly and cooperative and was so happy for serving us. Pathans Hotel is bad. Last night my husband and I went out for dinner and we had batura and then kuruma. The next day I had a complete stomach ache and diarrhea followed by a cold and headache. My husband had the same discomfort after 2 days. Then when we told many people they also said that Pathans is not a good hotel. There are many such problems.

The quality of food is outstanding—We tried their meals, masala dosa, and curd vada, all of which were delicious. Their specialty, the veg cutlet, is a must-try and absolutely fantastic. While parking is available, it can be a bit challenging during peak hours. Overall, a perfect destination for quality vegetarian dining!

One of the best vegetarian hotels in the city. The staff behaviour is admirable. The waiter who took our order was really good and he was really helpful to make the orders. He assisted by explaining with the taste and quantity of the food. The place was clean enough. we visited the restaurant at the closing time even though the staff were too supportive and they provided a tasty food with their limited dishes as it was closing time. They have a parking option.

Too crowded in the morning, went in the non AC section as the ac side was full. It was crowded and noisy. With so many people thronging you would expect some great food, but was left disappointed. Most of the things in the menu i wanted to try were not available. The only option they gave me was idly, ghee roast, masala dosa or poori. None of the specials like Mysore dosa, rava dosa and saffron tea were available in the morning. They said they will serve these only after 11.

Pathans is like an old memory that repeats itself with each visit. The ambience, the food and the value for experience has remained top notch over the years, especially if you have grown as an adult around Thrissur. I have eaten here across various stages of my life, and the food here has never failed to impress, like a constant friend. The tea, sambar and doshas here are so good and hits you right everytime. This is one of thrissur's iconic vegetarian eateries, that one shouldn't miss eating from atleast once in their lifetime, if you are passing by the city.

Below average ambience, very late service eventhough the dining hall was not much crowded and very much expensive as well. A roast will cost Rs. 120 and the chutney provided along with it was diluted with water completely. Sambhar was also very sweet and not at all tasty. A normal tea in a very small glass is charged Rs. 19. Overall experience was very bad.

Been having their food since early 90's... A bit under rated compared to the most crowded vegetarian restaurant in town. But their dosas are still awesome. Though parking is limited, locating and reaching the place is very easy. I'd recommend their ghee roast and curd vadas.

In my opinion they provide the tastiest food in the town. The ghee roast and normal roast is a must try item for all foodies in Thrissur. Although the price seems high, the food provided is unquestionably delicious. The staff is really customer friendly. There are 2 entrances to this restaurant. They also have their own bakery and hotel. There is also a baby feeding room facility and baby friendly chairs.

I would not visit this restaurant again, it was one of my favourite restaurants. Got lots of memory and nostalgia. No respect to customers. Hospitality -zero Parking- Worst ( would not recommend to park at their parking) No one will attend you , even after getting a seat, Had to wait 20 mins to get attention of a staff. That too they were like - Eat if you want or go somewhere, as if we went there for a free food. Food is average only . Overall i would give 1/5 and would never visit again. Management will not look into these issues, as they have new walkin customers daily. But hospitality is an important factor together with the quality of food. Pathan’s truly lacks hospitality.

Nice experience. The hotel is pure vegetarian and it is just opposite to Thrissur Vadakkumnadha swamy temple. They have residential lodge facility, bakery and restaurant. It's a big hotel and restaurant is spacious too have air conditioned family rooms as well. Parking facility is there. Utter worst food. The restaurant is near Bharat Hotel and they can easily get good business if they are providing tasty food. They don't need to give advertisements or try for publicity. Just have to provide worthy food. We ordered 1 Tea, 1 coffee, 1 Masala Dosa, and 1 set of cutlets. None of them have a minimum quality or taste. The tea glass was hot but the tea was cold. Coffee was also the same type. We can get better masala dosa from any street shop. Really disappointed.

I had visited this place a lot of times especially when ever i got out for shopping and felt need for quality food, by food I mean good vegetarian food. They serve some dairy products like ice-cream and fruit salad so I don't think it is a pure vegan place but you could avoid such things if you are not into it. ghee roast, masala dosa, mashroom manchuri with porota or poori are their best.

Nice vegetarian south indian foods

Just went thete today morning as I was craving for Masala dosa. Ended up having a ghee roast too. The dosa was really good though the masala could be better. The chutneys they provide along with the dosa were yummy! Ordered a vada too. I was expecting a crispy vada but got a slightly soggy one. Yet the vada was passable.
