The coffee house near Jose theatre is better than other branches of the coffee house in Thrissur town. Good restaurant with a lot of dining areas. Their 'Cutlet with sauce' is one of the dishes I tried a lot. have both veg and nonveg items.

I have never seen such an arduous Indian coffee house in my life. There is a hole is full of cockroaches on the side of the dining table. The wash basin is so dirty🤢🤢🤢🤮 oh god!!!! And the food they serve is rubber porotta and nothing is good to eat. Curries are not good at all.

Indian Coffee House is a restaurant chain in India, run by a series of worker co-operative societies. It has strong presence across India with nearly 400 coffee houses. It has been a hub for Communist and Socialist movements for generations. Thus it has played a very important role in the politics of India

The best restaurant of an ordinary Thrissurian. Porotta+Beef = the best dish one can have Evening snacks like cutlets(veg) are also great Takeaway orders don't consume much time here and you may sometimes get access to the kitchen where you can get live orders picked directly. Highly recommended!

Indian coffee house located at round south is the very old and first branch of Trichur town. Nearly 45 years working in the same premises. Serving hot and tasty veg and non veg foods with moderate rates. Service is very nice and attending every customer in a good manner. Their taste and flavour of coffee is different. No parking area for vehicles. Even though so many hotels and restaurants are there in town, but the Indian coffee house has got a good name. Everybody likes.

Good food and food quality. Indian coffee house is a restaurant chain and different outlets at different locations. Since started a long ago by AKG. The famous beetroot masaladosa and Cutlets are available. Biriyani is Awesome. Near to Jos theatre Thrissur.

I'm a fan of ICH since it's been my go to place for decent affordable food during my MRF Kottayam days some 30 years ago. I wanted to try ICH at my native Thrissur when I landed there and i vouch that the taste is consistent across the ICHs. Yes the ambience has to improve, but the quality of food is pretty good and affordable too. I wish ICH opens a few outlets in Chennai as well.

In the midst of expensive and so called aesthetic restaurants there is this. Decent food. Excellent service and good pricing too. The cutlets are a must try. you are greeted with a delightful combination of textures and flavors. The crispy outer coating gives way to the moist and flavorful filling, creating a perfect harmony. The blend of spices, herbs, and ingredients in the filling creates a savory explosion in your mouth, leaving you craving for more. This place is believed to be the first Indian coffee housein the country. Indian Coffee House is a cultural institution that offers more than just a cup of coffee. It embodies a sense of community, history, and the love for a good brew.

Kerala’s best and old hotel chain brand. Good café to have coffee - tea with snacks. Good tasty dishes, especially the masala dosa and cutlets with beetroot and potato based masalas. They serves veg and non-veg. A nostalgic place.

Had been to this place several times... All the items in the menu are mouth watering as people in the premises of Thrissur knows.... Yesterday had a chance to taste the beef/chicken omlette, and it's a must try for all the foodies out there... Prices are almost fine as in all Indian Coffee House's....

  • 1/5 Jisha C. 2 years ago on Google
Given the name and history behind ICH,this one was a total disappointment. Tasteless and bland food. Even the simple lime juice was bitter. Being situated at such a prime location, they could have done justice to the quality of food served.

Indian Coffee House is located very near to the Jos Theatre in the Thrissur Round. A busy coffee house, people visit the place frequently to have good food. Had lots of food from there during college days. Had MasalaDosa , Uzhunnu vada and Coffee from there. It was quite good. Recommended

My favourite place to have evening tea along with meat cutlets. Food quality is good and tasty. Tried biriyani for lunch and it was also good.

  • 5/5 Rithul 1 year ago on Google
Memories! I went here after years. In fact I took time out to especially visit to relive my memories. Personally it brought back all the good memories considering the taste. The chicken cutlet. “Porotta” and egg curry and some juices. I wanted to eat more but neither did I have days and the stomach. I wish these places are not closing and I again wish eventually the environment improves although it’s good enough because I am biased but I know for a fact if I was a random person visiting the first time, I wouldn’t like the ambience and the cleanliness. I just hope the place is open for years to come! Thank you for giving such memories!

Bombay toast yummy as expected at ICH :) Just for info, their chicken biryani has pineapple in it. Was a huge letdown because of that. But I guess there may be people who like that flavour.

  • 1/5 Raghu K. 1 year ago on Google
Average restaurant, quality of food normal and hygiene needs to be improved a lot. Age old table and chairs do not worth the money we pay in total. Waiter's cleanliness is very important and most of them looked tired and uniforms were dirty. Delivered coffee was spread onto the pan and not proper manner.

Once a favourite now turned out to be the average restaurant. No hygiene. No cards accepted. Average food quality. During my travels my father used to take to Indian coffee house and i have tried multiple other branches like at kakkanad, Aluva and one on the national Highway. The standard is getting reduced fast and for sure

Very authentic food. Regular meals, tea, coffee etc. might cost a bit more than what nearby resturants may offer. But the quality of food, taste, service etc make it wholesum! Absolute win.
