Clean and beautiful railway station. Close to bus stand and has parking space with space for taxis on one side. The station is clean, has lifts for aged and disabled people which is convenient. The station entrance has ample information to help passengers navigate. Electronic coach indicators would be another good addition and I hope they do it soon. Also escalators should be installed for convenience.

Thrissur is a city in the south Indian state of Kerala. It's known for sacred sites and colorful festivals. In the center is Vadakkumnathan Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and adorned with murals. The ornate, Indo-Gothic Our Lady of Dolours Basilica is nearby. To the north, Thiruvambady Temple is home to several elephants. Sakthan Thampuran Palace houses an archaeology museum with bronze statues and ancient coins.

I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped foot inside the station, I was impressed by its cleanliness, efficiency, and overall ambiance. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the station deserves high praise. The platforms were spotless, and the surrounding areas were well-maintained. It was evident that the station authorities take great care in ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for passengers. The washrooms were clean and well-stocked, making it a comfortable experience for travelers. I was also impressed by the efficiency of the staff at Thrissur Railway Station. The ticketing process was smooth, and the staff members were courteous and helpful. They patiently answered my queries and guided me through the various facilities available at the station. Their professionalism and friendliness added to the overall positive experience. The station's infrastructure and amenities were impressive as well. The waiting areas were spacious and comfortable, providing ample seating options for passengers. The availability of charging points was a welcome addition, allowing me to charge my electronic devices hassle-free. The station also had well-placed signboards, making it easy to navigate and find the necessary facilities. One aspect that stood out to me was the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the station. Thrissur Railway Station is located in the heart of the city, and it reflects the spirit and energy of the place. I enjoyed the hustle and bustle, with people from diverse backgrounds coming together. It truly showcased the essence of Kerala's rich culture and hospitality. Overall, my experience at Thrissur Railway Station was exceptional. It exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, efficiency, and facilities. I highly recommend this station to anyone traveling to Thrissur or passing through. It undoubtedly adds to the charm of the city and ensures a smooth and enjoyable journey. Kudos to the management and staff for maintaining such high standards!

We appreciate your latest endeavours to facilitate more comfort to passengers. Don't stop at doing. Success is an everlasting journey :- I) many unwanted and non-working ATMs and such electronic waste is lying here and there especially in the ticketing area. II) water points are showing 24 hours but..... III) Medical emergency cabins are working office hours. Whether emergency happens only during office hours πŸ™„. Its vice versa. Why don't you invert the timings πŸ€” iv) Crossing the tracks inside the station premises is as ever playing with innocent lives. The railway police just overlooking. Even the chaiwalas do it giving a bad example. Hope to see your urgent attention in the above and kindly monitor the situation continually. Wishing A Safer journey in 2023

Packed food is available as in all stations, if you are passing through the station during lunch or dinner hours it's good get the food from here. A place rich in cultural heritage and ethnicity. You will be constantly reminded of traditions of Kerala by the sights, roads, landscapes, buildings and much more. Trissur round is the biggest round about in the world which can be considered as a city on its own for is versatility and uniqueness. Food becomes an emotion cause of its richness and diversity. People are the most friendliest and kind hearted people you would come across in Kerala, with an outstanding and interesting accent of Malayalam that is simply jaw droppingly amusing. Good clean station with IRCTC restaurant serving good clean meals at low prices. As any other railway station Thrissur is also an ugly place. Rest rooms for the passengers is unbelievable. Nobody can stand the smell from the toilets which never cleaned in a month. Platforms are also treated carelessly. Parking area is wide but poorly maintained. The only thing is pre paid auto is available. The veg. Restaurant inside the station cannot handle the needs of the passengers on busy times which is frequent.

Seemed comparatively clean station and didn’t felt foul smells. However, the over bridge next maintenance date is β€˜MARCH 2023.’ This is October 2023, irresponsibility is visible.

I travelled to Kerala for the first time and wanted to keep Trissur as base to go around temples in Kerala. I was very disappointed to see the AC waiting halls CLOSED since Corona times !! The ladies waiting room was filthy and the washrooms were disgusting !! The hotels outside were just as bad with NO hot water in taps and absolutely horrible rooms and fungus ridden bathrooms. We chose to stay in Trivandrum. The KSRTC depot has excellent facilities of AC dormitory and cloak rooms at very cheap prices. 250 for 12 hours dormitory and only Rs. 50 for keeping your suitcases in the cloak room for 24 hours !! I hope Trissur station administration takes note of my experience and provides CLEAN waiting room / hall facilities at the earliest.

The railway station is located at the most accessible location. Trains going towards Thiruvananthapuram depart from the first platform and trains going towards Palakkad and Shoranur depart from the second platform. Rest area is available here. Essentially kept clean platforms.

Land of Vadakkumnatha temple, Paramekavu Bhagavathy Temple, Thiruvambadi temple etc. Not so busy as Kochi. Autorickshaw drivers charge as per the meter rate 😁. KSRTC Bus depot is located near a bus route, not as in Kochi.

I belongs to Haryana. I spent 3 years here. There is a lot of reasons to love this place. Specially you can find a veg/ North Indian restaurant or food here like Ramdev Restaurant, Kalyan Veg- Platter, Bharat Hotel and a lot of more. And if you are a lover of Culture than it is the best place for you at the time of Thrissurpuram Festival. If you are a lover of beaches than you can easily visit the Arabian Sea beaches nearby.
