Disgusting service in the bar and trust me I'm not drunk while writing this. worst 5star hotel I have been in. The waiter took the order and after 10 mins 3 other tables got occupied and gave their order their order came first in 5 mins ( which was probably old food reheated )and ours never came after 30 mins. We then went told to close our tab which was one beer and the person says sir ur food is here . We were calling the waiters they showed us the hand saying I'll come later. We were didn't want to eat anymore.then the cashier bills the table next to us wrong extra 600 rs. Then he was talking rudely to us saying sir it's only been 40 Mins please wait.i told give the bill I'm on a time constraint he started fighting with us. Not at all a 5 star hotel or service it was a scam. Please elevate this matter change the staff and make a 2 star ambience hotel a actual 5 star hotel.

Pretty sure you won't get a worse onasadhya anywhere in Kerala. Very poor service, ambience sucks,food was unpalatable, literally didn't touch any of the food they served. never have I seen such a deceptive administration. Please do not fall for the fake hospitality offered by the general manager. Please do not fall for the star rating. I'm surprised how such low standards have good reviews in Google. Kindly opt for alternate hotels if you have a choice. Never will i ever suggest this place even to my enemies.

Worst hotel in kerala. Doesn’t fit two star standard. Toilet looks like public washroom in KSRTC stand. I have not stayed in such hotel in lifetime for high cost.. Rooms are ugly and not maintained even if u stay for 2 days also they will not do house keeping.Towels are very bad..if u use that u will have some disease...water is coming like sediment ..if u stay for 5 days then u need to go to hospital directly...Reception - inexperienced person do know how to take print..even tariff also they don't know..Better to close instead of operating badly..!! Terrible experience..will not stay in future.....i have stayed with 5 friends with 5 single rooms...here onwards i will not suggest to anyone...

I just wanted to share my experience at your hotel. I stayed here last week and was not impressed. The room was dirty and had a musty smell. The pool has also been months since it's been cleaned. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5-star experience.

Very good ambiance for drinks and all. Comfortable place. Rate is a bit high. Staff is well behaved and guest friendly. Waiting time for the bill was a bit too much. Overall experience was good.

The hotel is within the city limits and close to the major attractions like temple et.al. That's probably all I can think of. This was a first of its kind experience, where a five star rated property trying hard to rate itself two star. I haven't been to a place that has such small breakfast options. Have stayed at smaller properties on hill stations with far better choices. The taste was nothing to write home about. Overall the food during lunch was fine, wasn't impressed by the chicken curry at all. Didn't hear anything positive from the family either.

Worst place to stay recently. Rooms were dirty, blankets were not washed. Also found cockroaches in room that too plenty. Please check rooms before you book it. Toilet was also not cleaned. Wonder how it become 4 star!!! For a room they are charging near to 4k.

I was going through the review given by other members. Suprised to see average 4 rating. Location wise this will have 4* Service is hopeless, non responsive staff, mannerism and politeness is never trained to staff. Cleanliness 2 star. There are nails picking out from wooden floor. Dirty towels, unclean shower hood. Breakfast spred is below average. Bread omlet was exceptional. Rude staff members

The service is pathetic. Been here for Pooram. Paid exorbitant price for 2 nights stay. Horrible experience with the hotel. They need basic training on hospitality. The housekeeping is bad. The washroom is not maintained well. Towels are dirty. The minibar has just disappeared. No room service till 8 am.

I had very bad experience with the quality of service. This is happened within their bar. If the rooms are occupied with guests or any function is happening within their premises, then the kitchen and bar service would be fully given to those. The outsiders who is giving casual visit to bar or to restaurant would be given little care.

When I called for a enquiry, the guy who took the call was not all listening what I had said and he cut the line after telling the tariff. I called him 12:00am 07/9/21. Please appoint some professional staff for your better running of your hotel.

I visited to meet a person at the lobby. Situated at the heart of the city with amble underground parking, spacious restaurants , bars( one ground floor and one on 11th floor),with convention and banquet halls, very ideal for families and business conventions. A scenic view of thrissur city can be witnessed at roof top.

Value for money stay in Thrissur. My room was about average sized and strangely had a big pillar at one end giving a congested look. No cloth hanger in the bathroom which was unusual.

Though this hotel claims to be a 5 star hotel , we did not find it good at all during our stay on 21st October 2023. When we checked in the wash basin was choked and water was not going . Had to call the plumber twice to remove the block. The bedsheets and towels we felt were unwashed and dirty looking. The icing on the cake was when we noticed small cockroaches in the room and bathroom !! The staff could not handle the rush during breakfast time and many guest went without having proper breakfast , because the replenishment of finished items was not happening in time. Overall a very dissapointing experience and hence will not recommend to any of our friends.

We had a stay in the Hotel Garuda Thrissur for a govt programme and before coming here, I was appalled to see so many bad reviews about this hotel in Google. I didn't face such a problem during my first day staying here. Maybe the services and room cleanliness have improved. Rooms are good but a little small. My room was on the seventh floor and the ambience was good. The room has a wooden finish and has one study table with a chair and a small sofa chair. TV was installed but I didn't check for any channels as I am not interested in watching television. The room had a mini fridge but was empty. The bathroom was nice and was stocked with toiletry items. The shower area was partitioned using glass. Towels were clean. They were offering complementary breakfast at 4th floor. The spread was not huge but had options of cut fruit, fruit juice, bread butter, idli, puttu upma, bhature and chole along with tea and coffee. Eggs were not seen, maybe they were prepared on demand. The staff were courteous when I interacted. Parking was available. The major plus point is the location. It is situated very near to Vadakkum Nathan temple. Speaking about bad reviews on google, I think the hotel team had worked on the reviews and improved the service. The hotel also boasts a pool and roof top bar. The pool was of small size and the floor of the pool was too slippery, maybe cleaning was due. I only swam for a couple of minutes. Overall the stay was good.

Garuda is worst hotel in Thrissur. Staff is very unpolite, very unhygienic room, purposely kept less food items in menu. If you order anything outside the menu, they will charge you bomb. Don’t waste your time and money booking this hotel. Staff and management will ignore your complaint. They will charge you in advance and once you paid the amount you are trapped. Food is very horrible, and nobody will attend your complaint. If you call reception for any help, they will simply ignore your call. BOOK SOME OTHER HOTEL, DONT BOOK YOUR STAY IN GARUDA THRISSUR.

Tariff are very high, but rooms are old, dull, dirty. The bedsheets and towel were very dirty. My room's AC used to stop automatically after running for some time. Had to call electrician at late night, but he had no idea, it stopped again. Spent night without AC. Only hotel location is good. Breakfast was not tasty.

We a group of 12 went there today afternoon around 12.50 just for lunch. Food and drinks order completed around 13.10. Till 14.10 nothing came. After enquiry, complaints etc.... Started serving around 14.30. I never saw such non professionals in any hotels. Many items ordered were rejected by us. The main thing is people in our group except 3 were above 70. I didn't see any kind of hospitality there. We were all laughing when we came outside and saw a board Hotel Garuda 5 star..... All these happened after our initial enquiry about the delay in service who advised us service is fast and no issues. Very great experience 😆😆😆

We reserved The Garuda hotels & resorts for our baby's first birthday ceremony. The hall and ambience was very good. Ma guest enjoyed the ambience and customer servicess provided by the garuda's team😊. But the food serving was not good🥲 got lot of feedback from guest side..... I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at the vegetarian buffet offered, and I must say, it was a complete letdown. As a vegetarian myself on a special day, I had high hopes for a wide variety of flavorful dishes that would satisfy my taste buds. Sadly, this buffet fell far short of my expectations. To begin with, the selection of dishes was incredibly limited. I expected a diverse range of vegetarian options, but all I found was a measly assortment of basic dishes. The lack of creativity and variety was astounding. It felt like the hotel's chefs had simply thrown together the most basic vegetarian dishes they could think of without any thought or effort. Moreover, the quality of the food was subpar at best. The service was another major disappointment. The staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated, paying little attention to the guests' needs. In conclusion, my visit to this hotel's vegetarian buffet was an utter disappointment. From the limited selection of bland and poorly prepared dishes to the lackluster service, there was nothing redeeming about this experience.This buffet simply does not live up to its reputation and fails to deliver on its promises.

Right now, I'm in a room number 705 & eating dinner. A chicken fried rice is NOT served with fried peices of Chicken..... Ever. Your service is pathetic. The Fried rice has come with tomato sauce and green chilli sauce, but no soya sauce, Inspite of requesting for it. The fried rice & the sauces have come with the spoons...... But what do I eat the fried rice with..... MY HAND????? Or do I eat with the serving spoon??? Even this morning at breakfast, I ordered for an omelette. I got my order perfect.... But, when I ordered for tomato sauce, it came... Without a spoon. DO WE HAVE TO ASK FOR EVERYTHING... WHAT YOU ARE EXPECTED TO PROVIDE???

I was new to this place. So location was good. 1km to Railway station. Close by temple and restaurants.. shoping Mall.

Great rooms, friendly staff, phenomenal location but the restaurant service lets it down. I still recommend if you are in a short trip and want a good place to stay.

I have visited this hotel spa twice, the first time they charged 3000 but when I went to the last time, the lady in the spa desk is bargaining for extra 200 and 300 like fish market and she is not a professional therapist...there no proper tariff for spa different rates in different time.. Very bad experience....

This is not about the rooms or the restaurant or bar, but about the Onasadhya we had this Onam. Charging Rs.1050/- per person they can atleast offer something worth 750/-. But worst Sadhya I ever had in my life. Our usual homely meal is much better than this. We have to ask them whether this dish is available, can I have some water...etc etc that too after paying 1050 + tax. Felt very bad and wondered how can they do something like this... Pathetic is most decent phrase we can use.

I was there around 11.30 AM (in A/C bar@06/10/2022). There was occupied around 3 more table including me but inside temperature is around 28°c & ordering beef pepper fry but they serve to me beef coconut fry. I just accept that because i know about the the KOT(Kitchen Order Taken) system am also hospitality proffesional. Once punch the order & before the process of dish only can changes after can't change other wise eise who ever order taken that person need to pay(like punishment in only some of the rare management).At last i just paid the bill(Giving tips 100 RS also) & inform the waiter above the mentioned concern and wait around 30 minutes but also they not on even A//C. In my experience they not listen customers satisfaction.

I am a frequent traveller.I have stayed twice last 20 days. Excellent property 👌 and good rooms. Infact I was so happy with personal interaction by AGM Rahul and Princy from customer support. Food is osm and they gave me a free upgrade tooo 😊 Will see you soon Garuda

Dont be misled by the listing as "5-star". Stayed here last week and was thoroughly disappointed & disgusted with the service. Pros: 1. Location: Few min away from Vadukkunathan Temple. Cons: 1. Room: Not cleaned well. Minibar menu is kept, but refrigerator itself is missing. 2. Bathroom: Stained toilet bowl, sink was partly clogged. No hot water available, whether at 7am or 9am. Reception asks us to 'try' and if it doesnt come they will supply. 3. Linen: Towels provided were dirty and had to call thrice to get an extra set. 4. TV: Absolutely no kids channels subscribed. 5. Restaurant & room service: WORST of all! Extremely limited items on the food menu. Grumbled to even give us a cup of curd. Take very long to even attend the call to place an order. Complementary breakfast had only idli, puttu kadala & puri. Not even bread & toaster is kept. On requesting for dosa, they reacted as though they were doing a big favour on us and grudgingly got one 20min later. 6. Swimming pool: Biggest mislead on their website. Its a tiny pathetic pool located on 4th floor with hardly any space around, which closes at 6pm! And when we stayed, the pool was entirely closed for cleaning. Staff had no idea when it would open again. 7. Reception staff: Not friendly at all. Bill wasnt even kept ready at checkout, made us wait saying "system is down" despite informing them in advance about our exact check out time. Absolutely not a child friendly place. Would give a negative rating if was possible. Thoroughly regret booking this hotel. Will never visit again.

Please give Dormitories to drivers,drivers driving from long distance they need to take rest every hotels and resorts provide but this hotel has no Dormitories

Its a star hotel but the experience is not that good . The time taken for serving dishes is so long amd that too limited options that we had to cancel all the orderss dishes and leave.

Am so happy with team . We conducted our daughters 1st birthday in November 2021 the food was excellent and the coordination of staff was 👌👍 And special thanks to Rahul
