Reportedly an old property, however with well maintained and contemporary facilities. The hotel has conference and party halls. The restaurant ambience is decent. The staff is polite. The greatest drawback of the hotel was the food offered at the restaurant. The service time is taxing and food is sub standard. Caramel custard was a "rubber block with overloaded sweet". Perhaps the pandemic has stretched out the resources and post pandemic rectifications are yet to kick in.

One thing I want to say is at Casino is not as it was before. They are a different breed of money swindlers. I had a function yesterday and overall experience was good. One of the dishes that I ordered in the main menu (Fish Pollichathu) prior to the function was missing for some reason, so the hotel staff without informing me just included in new dish that was so bad and pathetic. That (Fish Curry) was so bad and they didn't even give a proper recompense or explanation even after we are explained that we were served such bad food. They just threw some excuses and some spare change for the mistake from their side. Also when we were having the food there wasn't much dishes available as they didn't refill it properly and when we were exiting the function hall the servers actually came and refilled the buffet plates to show their manager that the food was abundant. It was my child's first birthday party and the experience is unbearable. It stain my heart forever. So my one word to you guys is that please check everything before you guys get anything done in Casino because they cheat you like hell and they won't compromise.

Even though it's mentioned as a 4 star rated hotel, the rooms are not up to the mark (myt be the one I got) Old rooms, poorly maintained corridors. The hotel has a great potential if it is renovated and properly maintained on a daily basis. Manager told that the renovation work has already started. Expecting that the Hotel management will take necessary care to provide a great experience for the customers.

A very old and gracious building set in a serene location. The rooms are comfortable but they need to be refurnished and the bathrooms are not in a good condition.

Did a small family function at Senate hall. Property is well maintained , staff is cooperative and helpful. I needed a small Hall of 50-100pax and senate hall fit in perfectly. Don't have much options in Thrissur for small functions. Food(sadhya-veg) was good and served professionally. I understand the hotel is equally popular for its non veg also. Location is good , convenient for both local people or people reaching by Bus (walkable from shaktan stand or train ) Overall good experience 👍

The rooms looked as if they recently got caught on fire. The bathroom is poorly maintained and reminded us of a public restroom. Not what you’d expect from a 4 star rated hotel. The service wasn’t that great either. I’d recommend going for Joys Palace or Dass Continental if you are planning to stay in Thrissur.

Went to attend a wedding reception.All the food items whr served cold and no heating arrangement done .Food was worst .Hot served starter , chicken lollipop was superb.A lot of Hotel management staffs presence was seen at the lawn hall but no one took strain to notice this it seems .If any function is organised we have to be very careful.Lawn arrangement and decoration was good.

The Service is pathetic as they don't provide additional water even if I repeatedly requested the same, I had to go to my car to get water. (very frustrating) The rooms were stinking due to inadequate ventilation when it was vacant. Cleanliness was average as I could see some dirt on the fan leaf. The AC temperature was reduced automatically to 28 at night even though I had setup it up for 23 at night. Being a business hotel only one device can be connected to the internet and not provided the second one which is quite disappointing. The only thing I liked was the breakfast which they serve in the morning.

Pros I faced a couple of issues while on my last stay. 1. I have requested drinking water twice but have yet to get so I have to go out and get the same at 10:20 PM. Being a business hotel, it was allowed to connect only one device which is not practical in this era (you cannot use the same password once you register one device). 2. The AC temperature peaked at 28.5 C despite being set to 23 C. 3. The room has a fan which needed to be appropriately cleaned. 4. there was a smell that typically comes if rooms are closed for a long time. Cons . The only positive side I have seen is that the restaurant was good, with the complimentary breakfast.

Not at all having the standard of a four star Hotel. Room has a filthy smell, bedsheets were dirty and not cleaned. Basic things like toothbrush, paste , oil etc not provided. Phone nos of reception, room service not displayed. Served food utensils were not removed and kept in front of each room through out the night. Overall very pathetic.

So there is a hall called green court and that food was very tasty except for that fish curry. I only ate a few butter naan and panner butter masala. Good service for luxury people. Very cheap hall in Thrissur.

Hi, stayed last few days at Hotel Casino. Good food and nice ambience . Very POOR HOSPITALITY. Worst house keeping. When asked the receptionist he said it is hotel guests job to remind them to clean the room. Behaved like II have committed a mistake by not reminding them. When asked GMs number, he said GM is busy and he wont attend the call. ( gave contact number finally) Very nice words on the welcome board near the lift, please show your customers that you mean it. At least train your staff on how to give a heart touching guest experience. . Such arrogant people attending customers....fed up.

Over all it is ok, issues I faced was: 1. Didn’t receive welcome drink 2. Had to request for additional pillow. 3. For the price, they could provide additional amenities such as toothpaste etc, if hotels that charge way less than casino can provide these amenities, then casino could definitely improve on this. Things I liked: 1. Staffs were polite and supportive. They resolved issues quickly and effectively 2. They did provide additional pillow and plates when requested.

Enjoyed my stay ....except for a mistake made at the reception area regarding someone else's laundry hanging on their balcony...so I am giving just 4 stars cos of that strange incident..they should have properly confirmed the room number before questioning the guest..The men staff in the reception area are courteous and understanding. The lady receptionist needs to work on her skills. Restaurant very nice with very helpful staff...Hotel very near trissur Railway station. Nice rooms. I used to often visit this hotel during my student days cos it was the only good hotel in the area. Now there are so many good hotels nearby. Hope Casino will always be able to stay on top.

We had been here to attend the 1st Birthday of my nephew's daughter. The food served was great. Can't comment on the rooms and hospitality, since we did not stay in this hotel. It is ideally located in Thrissur. Close to Railway station and Bus Stand. During my childhood, I remember, it was being constructed to be a three screen cinema theatre in the late 70s that would have been one of its kind in Thrissur. But, later that idea was shelved and they converted it into a Hotel. Casino is a leading Hotel in Thrissur.

Only the reception looks good. I have stayed with my friend in standard deluxe room. The room is spacious. Ceiling is moist looking. AC is utterly horrible. The room I stayed needs renovation. Absent of buffet and foods not upto the mark. Highly Overpriced for the standards of room. Regretted.

Stayed here for two nights last month. I was on a business trip and had few meetings here. Management and staff were very professional and helpful. Rooms were very clean and service were very good too. Breakfast had enough varieties and totally food was excellent. Can’t conclude this without mention Ms. Mritula who was very professional and helpful throughout my stay. A nice hotel to recommend in the city.

This is a no way 4 star hotel, with no guest service. They just operate like a local lodge by handing over the keys and in room you have explore everything by yourself. Rooms are not well maintained with broken doors and windows, bathroom is very basic. They have mentioned 20% gst for the food, being myself a hotelier I don’t understand on what basis they charge 20%, even luxury hotels and fine dining restaurants are allowed to levy 18% gst to the max on food bill. Bed linens were turned shabby, unmaintained place.

Not matching the level of 4 star , no hand towels no sanitizer,no washbasin inside the bathroom, no proper interior, restaurant is unable to provide it's menu stuff. Poor very poor over all, blanker was torn ...no proper sockets ... Had a bad experience even after paying high

We had booked several rooms at this property for family events during the holiday season and the experience was disappointing. On the positive side, the deluxe rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The house keeper, Mridula, was very efficient and friendly. The hotel overall has a tired look and has seen better days. For a business hotel, the WIFI is patchy and doesn’t work most of the time. The furniture, closets and the WC had cracks. There was mould on the shower curtains and inside the water kettle and the shower often only had cold water. The breakfast buffet was insipid and tasteless. The waiting times for dinner service was over 45m (it’s a busy time, sir) and subsequently we frequented the restaurant in a neighboring hotel where the food was great and served in 10 minutes. Unless significant improvements are made, there are other properties that offer better value in Trichur.

Went for a marriage reception at one of their convention centers. Found it fair enough and convenient. Staff were also friendly. That day, there were 2 other marriages at other halls so the parking was a big issue. They don't have covered parking. Just parking for a few cars as compared to the halls they have. They should start thinking about multilevel parking as Thrissur is becoming smaller and smaller as far as parking spots are concerned. The city is cramped.

Went for an engagement party in senate hall of casino hotel. The hall is spacious enough for small gatherings. Food was good. But soup had smoky taste.

Very poor, they are a four star hotel,but the service we got for a high tariff was very disappointing. Toilets unclean, rooms were dusty, housekeeping team had insufficient staff. Breakfast experience again was disappointing...will never suggest this place to my friends and family

Rooms are clean and spacious. Buffet and alacart breakfast is also good. Reception staff can be little bit polite to customers..

Food can be improved a lot especially the breakfast.. rawa for upma was not roasted. Idlis were uncooked n cold...a lot can be done to ensure authentic quality

The hotel is large in size with spacious rooms...however needs more maintenance and upkeep,room bedsheets were not clean and there was a stale smell prevalent in corridors & rooms...The restaurant section was nice and food was tasty !!

Nice place. Maintaining the old glory to a good extent even after many other hotels opening up around it. Good staff, Tasty food. Ample parking space. Conference rooms and halls available.

Had booked ona sadya. Hotel is in a dilapidated condition. Service very bad. Had to ask for drinking water repeatedly. Cleanliness,( specially during this time of pandemic), is something they have to learn. They don't keep their promises. Internal bickering very evident.

There was no Wi-Fi , no hot water supply , dental kit and soap only after repeated request , it’s an old property fairly maintained … not up to 4 star as it said …room size was big though …can improve a lot of facilities

I was waiting 15 mints to order my food. Finally one guy came and he was started telling me that what they have instead of giving menu.The server was drunk ( instead him and he refused). I ordered food and my main course dinner served after 40 mints. He didnt do any followup and he asked me how was the food. Ordered chilly fish. It's over cooked and they burned the fish. Casino hotel had a good reputation years ago. 1 out of 10 I will them 3. Very disappointed.

Very good service. People in the reception and their KitKat restaurant are really polite. The room is spacious and we'll furnished. At this rate it gives value for money.
