This temple was on a wetland several years back and grew in size and patronage over the years. Sree Krishna, the presiding deity is worshipped as Santana Gopala,. The temple stands is a quiet residential locality and is a lovely place, calm and quiet. The annual vela involves an impressive line up of 5 elephants and a procession in the neighborhood. Visit this temple to seek Lord Krishna's blessings

A small temple, still keeps up the village charm, even though it's situated in the heart of the city. There's parking available in the premises for the devotees.

A very divine and powerful temple, staff are cooperative. I don't know Malayalam. But never felt that as a stopping point in performing Pooja and other work. Locals are also very cooperative. Spl. For someone who is looking for a blessing for a baby. Many of them have been blessed by babies 💕 via lord Mahavishnu and the priest, with such a dedication they worship and serve

Kuttankulangara Sri Krishna Temple located in Punkunnam, Thrissur district of Kerala, south India and is considered to be over a 300 years old. It is located in the Kuttankulangara ward of Thrissur Municipal Corporation. This temple is a classic example of the Kerala style of architecture. It is 500 m away from Punkunnam Railway station. It is believed that the god gives the fortune of progeny(സന്താനം).There is an interesting ritual called Pannivetta(പന്നി വേട്ട) A model of pig is made and a hunter arrows it down at the base of the Banyan Tree (ആല്‍ത്തറ). Satellite image of the temple.
