One of the best holidays ive had in my entire life.Tradition well maintained with ultra modern amenities, spic and span interiors and exteriors, wonderful landscape, family like staff and to top it all The owner Mr Sreeni and Meera supported by Mr Vivekanand - couldnt ask for more.Food was ultra authentic and super delicious.Enjoyed every minute of our 4 night stay and every morsel of our meals there.Highly recommended .Thanks for a memorable stay- Sreeni and Meera.

We spent here 3 nights with my parents and my little son. We really liked the stay: the outstanding and attentive hospitality, the delicious food (that was like a treat for our taste buds that can't handle spicynsess), the garden, the room, the philosophy of the place. We felt a very warm welcome. We enjoyed the bycycle ride in the lush surroundings: the peacefulness and nature and also the visit to the waterfall. Thank you again, also for being so family friendly!

Had an opportunity to be here recently. There are two entries to the property. One was easy to identify while the other was confusing. However the parking area available was very slushy and it required some skills to navigate. The Koothambalam where the ceremony took place is adequate to hold about 200 people at the most. Well laid which gives a view of the rituals to all watching. Maybe, because of the privacy this resort offers, washroom provided as only one each floor. The hall was furnished to match the eco friendliness it supports. The resort is by the river side giving one a serene atmosphere.

Excellent ambience.. Fantastic food. I attended a day function with all my colleagues, which was arranged by my company. Planning to visit here again and stay at night too

Excellent resort. Close to Thrissur town. Good service and food. Excellent option for a family get together or other celebrations. Not much to do activity wise, though.

A very well maintained resort. Very good for 1 or 2 days stays. Cost of a vegetarian meal was Rs 400+. It was tasty and homely, but not justified.

A fantastic experience! We stayed in a cottage for one night. It was a short stay but we got to enjoy excellent and authentic meals, a beautiful koodiyattam performance, wonderful ambience, and relaxation amid the monsoon. Strongly recommend!

Visited this property as part of an event and it was a very huge property with serene atmosphere. Lots of lush greeneries around. Maybe the timing was wrong when we visited it was raining crazily and car parking was a slush; kinda ruined everyone's footwear. The pathway to different places during the rain could be improved, maybe a temporary roofing. The restrooms for the events were not clean and for a big party hall the numbers are also less.

Warm hospitality and excellent food. The place is a real gemstone. Don’t miss on the sunset boat ride.

If you want to enjoy a peaceful and secluded couple of days away from the bustle of the city, this is the place. Homely and polite staff, authentic ambience, and hearty yet simple food.

Wonderful place to unwind and relax with family and friends, with beautiful well- appointed rooms done in traditional Kerala style architecture, pool, spa, game room and best of all - amazing home-cooked meals! We will definitely be going back!

A memorable experience of using the auditorium suitable for a family function or party of around 100-150 people. The design and ambience are a welcome treat as also suitable for photo shoot. The location has scenic surroundings very close to a river bank road near the bridge connecting both sides of the river (motorable for smaller cars). There is another service / village road leading to the back side entrance to the property having immense parking, large gardens surrounding the hall as well as the cottages meant for accommodation. Last mile accessibility may possibly be improved towards catering to a larger gathering (with the use of cottages).

Location is great awar from hassle bassle of the society. Place is really well managed, functional and super clean ( 5 star for that. ) Rooms and toilets are very spacious with that old school charm and vibe. Most importantly, the food and services were way much better than any 5 star. The staff is prompt, humble and pro active, they took care of us just like family. Best wishes to Shrini ji and his team, whenever I come Kerela, i will definitely stay in.

A wonderful experience for our family at Neelambari resort. Fantastic freshly prepared food by the team with the authentic rich flavours of Kerala and great service with a smile. We appreciated the opportunity to enjoy the unique cultural experiences of kalaripayattu and koodiyattam with the host Sreeni's deep knowledge of the theatre arts of Kerala adding to the overall experience. Wonderful place to stay, with lush greenery around and a river next to it. This place is situated next to Aaratupuzha temple, hidden away from in a quiet place to spend time in peace. Villa or room stays available It has a pond inside the compound for swimmers to use. An indoor mud badminton court, helps keep the healthy routines going on. While traveling, please ask the local folks on reaching the temple as rainwater flows over the usual road and you have to take an alternate non-flooded road to this place. Good choice of food, stay, service ample space to walk around and in sync with nature are the USP

Very Highly recommendi! We arrived at a place that became home for us. The staff is lovely and takes care of all the details. The owner and his wife are very present and make sure that everything is fine and beyond. The place is inside a village, it is very interesting to walk in the village, to have authentic experiences, beyond that there are many other interesting activities such as canoeing, a cooking course, a visit to an artists' village.. In addition, a clean river flows near the entrance gate that allows a morning bath together with smiles from the locals. A pleasure! The food at the place itself is great and they are very attentive to the needs of those who stay with them. From the heart. And a personal addition: my wife had injured during visit to the cinema in the nearby city, and they took care of a wheelchair for her, sent one of the staff members with me and my husband to the hospital, took care of our son's activities during this time.. We will not forget the place and the people in Nilanbari. Totally an experience of a lifetime!

Great location. Very environmentally conscious-you eat on banana leaves! The suites/rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom we had was large and the shower was rather fancy (with water jets to cover the whole body). No bathtub (remember it's eco friendly) which was ok. The food was fantastic - typical Kerala fare. The non vegetarian was good but the vegetarian food was fantastic. The couple that run the place are warm, helpful and very attentive to residents' needs. The locale is lush. Only 2 minor negatives (which is why I've given 4 instead of 5 stars). The towels were pretty rough/hard and mine was stained. The lighting in the room was also quite dim. On the whole a very enjoyable experience - looking forward to going back some day!
