    best home away from home feel. great for family and children. rooms are indeed spacious and clean. Host is good. its in the city center with minimal parking facilities.

    Had visited during a visit to Thrissur. The rooms are good and so is the service they had a small parking space. The rates of the room are also decent.

    A comfortable place in the midst of Thrichur Town, the cultural capital of Kerala. Well connected by road and rail. Near to Thiruvambadi Temple.

    It was nice stay at Shivalaya honestly. Staff are really cooperative and ready to help any time.Rooms are neat and bathrooms are real clean. We had booked two double AC rooms and extended it for one more day without much hassle. Thanks to the entire staff and management of Shivalaya.

    Very good experience at this Homestay. Welcoming Host. Good food options nearby. Very close to Thrishur Railway station. We stayed as a family of 4 in one room. Recommended.

    Best place to stay with family. Took a six bed suit room. Very comfortable bed, clean room, clean restrooms, got 2 bottles of mineral water, soap, shampoo as complimentary. Walkable distance from famous Vadakkunathar temple.

    It was amazing for ₹2500 we can accommodate upto 4 person with 2 cots we can also add extra bed still you will have more space inside the room.

    Just the rooms. Otherwise only drinking water is available. Good place for single economical business traveller. Even for a morning cup of tea one has to go outside which is painful.

    We looked at various reviews for a stay near Vadakkanathar temple and decided on Shivalaya Homestay @ May 23rd. They provided Room in Annex. It was very comfortable,neat and spacious. There are several good veg restaurants nearby. I will recommend this place for guests seeking stay near Vadakkunathar temple.

    It's an ok place. Has parking and is close to the railway station (10 mins walk). Only reason for a 2 star review is that the owner forgot to clean certain items left by previous occupant

    During visit to Thrissur in last week of September took two rooms in second floor of Annex. Neat rooms and very clean bathrooms. With lot of space in second floor and good privacy felt as if staying at home. Very comfortable stay for family with a baby.

    It's exactly an house converted to this. Rooms and toilets are super clean and every equipments are working. They provide mineral water bottle, a good tin of shampoo, soap, toothpaste and towels. All over a good experience only one drawback was they will close the gate around 11.30pm

    I stayed couple of times here whenever traveled to Thrissur. Good home stay at reasonable cost. Only 3 or 4 rooms are available, hence advance booking is recommended. No food facilities in the home stay but there are few good hotels are available nearby. Overall its a good stay at this price.
