We took the 3 to 6pm afternoontrip. It was a beautiful and memorable 3 hours. We are settled abroad. And I il am happy to say that my wife and children got to see the scenic beauty of backwaters, right here in Thrissur. The boat was very clean. Vijith the capta in was very cordial, warm and I formative. His was also very hospitable. The food was very good too, home cooked and delicious. Perfect was family gatherings and other events

Had a refreshing evening with family at the Kayaloram House boats.. we were initially disappointed seeing the poorly maintained exterior, it had lost its beauty due to long two years of dull business and hence disuse.. But it was soon forgotten over the caress of the cool breeze flowing over the waters.. The helmsman and the 'kili' were very sweet and were so enthusiastically explaining to us different stories related to the places we saw on the route.. We saw fishing boats, harbours, mangrove forests, and a beautiful sunset.. It was indeed a refreshing experience..

Quiite and calm place

It was a fantastic experience to be on a House boat....its simply beautiful...the calm wind blowing by, the sceneries you get to encounter, the clean and beautiful coast lines and the pride of sailing a boat is phenomenal. Thanks to the Kayyaloram Houseboats to provide us with such a beautiful opportunity and experience.

Not crowded. Limited facilities. Welcoming raw natural scenes. Car park, toilets available. Sunset cruise lasts 3 hours. Do not enter the sea.

Excellent experience and thanks to owners who still have lot of passion and they try there level to keep customers happy. They can even organise basic lunch etc on boat.

Cheap - cost around totally 7500 RS for 3hours. We had actually gone for a package which includes 3 hours boating, then stay in a island including food and it cost around 2000 person. Toddy and food was superb. Toddy was 110 Rs per Bottle and fish was amazing.

Perfect hosts for chilling out with group. Authentic kerala meals is served if required during lunch.

Best way to find a great scenery of the chettuva backwaters

The boating experience was really good.The charges are moderate.They charge Rs.7500 for a three hour boating trip for twenty people.They take us up to the spot where the lake joins the sea.Non veg and veg food will be ade available if the order is placed a day ahead of the tour.The food served is ok.

The location was decided for a family get together and we had a great time. The food and the boat ride experience was very good. Will definitely recommend the place to friends and family.
