An amazing experience from start to finish. Arun and team listened to our requirements and created a bespoke tour to suit what we wanted. We had two separate tours over 2 weeks and loved both of them. Our drivers (Me Afsal and then Mr Anthony) went over and above to ensure we saw and did all that we wanted. The accommodation arranged was excellent. We loved each place that we visited which included: Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Allepey, Wayanad, Ooty. Highly, highly recommend Iris tours. Iris had planned everything perfectly, hotels were great as well as the experiences they planned. The tea plantation around Munnar was beautiful. We enjoyed hiking at the national park and tea factory/museum was interesting. It was nice watching the sunsets over the mountains. In thekkady, We saw a herd of elephants in the wild on the “GreenTrec” in Periyar wildlife sanctuary as well as many amazing birds and of course monkeys. If you stay at the elephant court hotel beware of the monkeys. They broke into our room and stone a necklace. With the help of a couple of staff we were able to recover it. They had returned to the neighboring balcony. Monkey business! I loved feeding an elephant after she gave me a shower. She was so gentle. The staff at each hotel and the boathouse were all extremely kind and solicitous. The resort Xandari pearl was amazing. Each cabana has its own private courtyard with hammock and lounge chair to enjoy. The only negative was the Airlink hotel. It was run down and a little dirty. The windows didn’t close fully and it was noisy from the street in front. I don’t know if there are other options near the airport that are better. That would be worth exploring. We had a wonderful experience with our driver Babbou. He was knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. It was obvious he wanted us to have the best experience possible. He anticipated our needs like taking us to a liquor store to get some wine and beer that was inexpensive and not necessarily available in the hotels. He found good local restaurants for us. He is an excellent driver. He pulled over rather than talking on the phone while driving, uncommon in India. I felt very safe and cared for. We would enthusiastically recommend iris travel and our driver in particular.

Excellent 7N/8D trip of Kerala in Jan 2023!! We visited Kerala first time with family. The places visited were Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarokam, Varkala, Kovalam and Poovar. The boat house stay and food was great. The highlights were Thekkady and Poovar. We didn't enjoy Munnar much as felt it to be very commercialized. Don't miss Poovar Island Resort stay and boating in Poovar backwaters. You can see actual beauty of Kerala in Poovar. We are delighted that we chose Iris Holidays as our tour operator for our 7-night package, which included our two children. Upon our arrival, our trip representative Vijeesh and our driver met us at the hotel and explained everything in detail. Anoop, our driver, was a standout, providing excellent and patient service throughout our journey. He was also very careful while driving and recommended family restaurants that had great amenities and food. We highly recommend requesting Anoop when booking your tour! Kerala is a stunning destination with numerous activities to explore and try. While staying on the backwaters in a houseboat was a fantastic experience, we noticed that the boat was old and required refurbishment. Therefore, if you choose to book with Piccadilly boats, we recommend checking their website and reviews on other travel websites beforehand. As a general piece of advice, we traveled in April, when it was sweltering with evening temperatures reaching 30-32 degrees Celsius. If possible, we suggest scheduling your trip for other, less hot months. We stayed at four-star hotels, and we were pleased with the quality of service and amenities provided. I was looking for a holiday cum ayurvedic rejuvenation package trip to Kerala when I chanced upon Iris Holidays. Since, it was a 20 days long solo trip, I was a bit apprehensive initially but Iris Holidays left no stone unturned to ensure that my journey was comfortable, memorable and of course cost effective. I was looking for a customized package and I must say that since they only cater to Kerala tourism, their know-how of the place is quite in-depth, accurate and has varied options to cater all needs. Not only was Mr. George Joseph able to well grasp my requirement & build a suitable itinerary but he also ensured to execute the tour efficiently and smoothly without any obstacle. Kudos to the team for the same! The vehicle arranged for the trip was well maintained and hygienic. Mr. Vipin, the friendly chauffeur cum guide for my trip was thoroughly professional and also well informed about the routes and the local places which also helped me shop for memoirs and other local stuffs at best deals. The hotels were good and exactly as conveyed during the package customization. Not only did I visit the touristy spots of Kerala (Munnar, thekkady, houseboat, athirappilly falls, varkala etc) but also experienced the offbeat & local places/ cuisines / culture tourism. The trip ended with a perfect rejuvenation getaway in the beautiful Ayurveda resort for a 10 day panchkarma. Planned my Kerala trip through iris Holidays and the trip was full of Happy moments and memories. The thing which most impressed me was our Cab driver Mr Lalan, quite a gentleman he is . Kudos to him. My overall stay was quite pleasant except our stay in Pickadly houseboat which can be made a bit better. Loved Kerala and every bit of time we spend there.

Iris Holidays helped in saving £1500 off the total cost offered by a UK tour operator From the very first contact with Iris, I was very impressed. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed with which they responded to my emails, the email conversation to tailor my trip and the value for money delivered. I had originally priced the trip through a well-known UK agent and, by using Iris and Expedia, shaved £1500 off the total cost!! Payments from the UK were receipted to give reassurance. On arrival we were greeted by a member of the Iris team who introduced us to our driver Mr Shajar. I had originally thought that we did not need a driver, though Mr Shajar’s knowledge of the areas we visited and his availability via WhatsApp was invaluable in finding the best attractions, restaurants, beers and money exchange. He was always polite and courteous and went out of his way to ensure that our holiday met our needs and aspirations. Our Iris contact Arun was regularly in touch to check everything was ok and responded immediately when one hotel did not meet our expectations. A great service “end to end” and Highly recommended.

We took 7 nights 8 day Kerala Tour package through Iris Holiday.The tour was very well arranged.The cab driver Mr Vishnu Chandran was very polite,honest and humble.We enjoyed all our stay except Hotel in Kovalam Soma palmshore.This hotel was too pathetic.Very old interiors, poorly maintained. Rest all services provided by Iris holidays were good.

We had an amazing trip in Kerala with Iris holidays. We purchased a customized 4 night/day holiday package to Allepey (boathouse), Munnar and Athirapally waterfalls. Mr. Afsal was the best driver. Our tour was planned by Iris, on the arrival 1st thing was change in cab driver. He was very good at driving but less spoken. Our 1st stay at Munnar was just awesome, the scenery was beautiful and the food was also delicious. Staff was cooperative as well. Another stay at Thekkady was also very good property, food was outstanding. Regarding Site seeing, National park was not covered, Tea factory was closed. Dutch palace was closed. We reached at Thekkady on 3:00 PM but driver didn’t informed us that booking time was 3 so that was also not covered. It would be great if Iris get in touch with there clients during the journey. Otherwise selected property were very good at Munnar and Thekkady..👍🏻

One day the driver went to his house and was late. We had to visit the bird sanctuary in kumarakam in the early morning. I called George, he arranged a local driver within 15 mins. Mr George was our trip planner and he arranged an Iternary for our trip but due to covid lock down some places where not open but we enjoyed our trip as George understanding our situation upgraded our accommodation to a high end resort with no extra charge. We booked our trip to munnar in 2018 but had to cancel due to floods, the travels suggested us to reschedule and they helped us reschedule after 2 yrs without any additional service charges... Our trip organizer Saranya was very responsive and arranged trip as per our requirement.. The driver Aby was friendly and he knew places very well, it was wonderful traveling with him. He made us feel comfortable and was happy to provide support where required.. The stay they had arranged was heavenly, secluded in hill top, made you feel close to nature and what to expect out of munnar holiday... Overall wonderfully planned with right kind of people to take care.. I will definitely suggest the travels to others.. Thanks for the memories

We went with Iris holidays during our December 2019 Christmas vacations. They have premium charges. Stays arranged were good however all hotels were far from the main town hence the driver is always in a rush to take you back to the hotel. The car was good and comfortable but it is not of much use if the driver is the only person you rely on since Iris holidays representative who was dealing with me (Ms Shiji) did not even call me once in the trip on her own asking about how is it going. They are not at all cooperative saying that we might exceed kilometers even when you are a well established traveller who knows rules and would not believe in breaking them but even a inch of flexibility is not provided....As if we should always monitor the kms travelled (not expected from any travel agency). Kindly ensure the kms blocked for you as most of them go in your hotel distances. Be well aware of places included in itinerary and do not rely at all on the driver. He did not even suggest us Jews Market and never wanted to enter into that rush may be or may be has commission hence takes us to some other spice shops etc. For Thekaddy Cruise, Shiji suggested me some agent who started selling tickets in black and with his commission. So beware. I also communicated the same to Shiji too. Now last and most unprofessional thing is that once you come back, they ask you to update the 'positive' review regarding your experience stating that it helps them in getting customer base. What the hell? I clearly stated that I would write a fair review as per my experiences rather than a good/positive review 😊

We had a great time in kerala. Iris holidays made our vacation a very memorable one. Saranya from Iris holidays was in contact with us throught the tour right from providing quotation to booking and planning the entire trip. Our driver Shijo was excellent. Very calm and soft spoken and we had a great time travelling with him. He even showed us a very good Ayurveda massage centre which we enjoyed. All our hotels were 4 star and very comfortable stay. No additional charges we had to pay anywhere. All hotels had excellent morning breakfast included. Our day started with great buffet everyday. We strongly recommend Iris holidays to everyone

We used their services looking at their reviews, but we were not happy with the hotels they provided. They also refused to refund us the gst difference after the govt reduced the GST on hotel bookings.

Unprofessional crooks. Never give them full money till end of the trip, or they will keep asking extra money for everything or threaten to cancel without refund. Their cabs and transport services are a big pain , coz once you pay and start the vacation trip, they will dictate their terms and you can't change anything..
