Hospital is good, it is better than any other private hospitals and affordable. But I had a bad experience with the staff one who is working in the labour room. Her name is shiji Augustine. Why I mentioned her name because at least she should understand that how much the pain is experiencing by a pregnant lady on the last stage of labour. Please don't be such arrogent towards the patient and doctors be careful because of these staffs, there will be some issues for their patient's health. I wish her to have a baby to realise it.

The Hospital and its premises are neat and clean. The management and the staffs are very supportive. I never felt like I'm in a government hospital. Quite impressive.

Some of the duty nurses in casualty are careless in handling the patients who come in as emergency. On the night of August 18, 2023, my father was brought to casualty due to shortness of breath.Oxygen saturation was very low. But the nurse did not give oxygen. A nebulization mask was applied. She very carelessly inserted the cannula into the patient's arm causing pain and bleeding. The doctor was not there at the time. My father could not breathe. At that time the duty doctor came and immediately called an ambulance and arranged for him to be taken to the medical college. Due to the carelessness of that duty nurse, the patient's condition became more complicated. He was brought to the medical college but was treated in ICU on a ventilator for a few days and died.

To visit doctor -Out Patient 1. Reach OP ward around 7:30 AM 2. You will be asked to be seated in rows. 3. In a while they will distribute the tokens at your seat.Make sure to confirm if the doctor is available. 4. Wait till the counter to get the doctor appointment open. 5. You will be called by your token number. 6. Pay the fee and get the receipt. If you can't make it at 7:30 AM. You can directly go to the last counter and get the token. Better than most of the other private hospitals in chalakudy. Friendly and helpful staff. Most of the days the place will be crowded. So, if you want to see the doctor, you should reach as early as possible. According to the token no. We can see the doctor. Highly appreciate the service.

Better service & excellent workforce comparing to other nearby hospitals. The government should provide more facilities, equipment and proper hospital infrastructure for doctors and people to make this hospital competitive with private facilities.

Hospital is in good quality service

Superintendent lady is the most disgraced person in this hospital. She don't have any humanity to the persons. She never wear a mask inside the hospital and asks every one not come inside her office. We have to shout from the door to talk to her. Staff here in vaccine center have so much attitude, they feel like they are paying from their pocket for the vaccine.

Chalakudy Government hospital is better than other government hospitals

Gave 4 samples for RTPCR on 31december 2021. Result issued only for one on 1/1/2022. On 3 Jan when enquired Chalakudy GH takes no responsibility of the samples as they dispatch to Thrissur Medical college for test. When enquired Thrissur medical college said they haven't got the samples. Still waiting for results Staff is very arrogant, Irresponsible, buys time to cook up stories. How can the poor rely on such people with their health. Hell amount of mismanagement and new minister seems to be not in control of the health system. Thrissur DMO says it's not in his control but under DMA, but has promised to assist. Let God alone save God's own country

Best Gov hospital best infrastructure, best service

World class level infrastructure &and great technicians.. I've heared about the arrogance nature about the staff and once i experienced it. But all these from the untrained staffs those peoples are working here as temporary. If they got any hospitality classes at regular interwel, i think it can make up. Apart from that all the other technicians like doctors and permanent nurses here are sweet and lovely personalities as i experienced.

Very poor experience from the hospital.especially from the medical superintendent and co-worker ( sitting in same office). I requested for certificate with vaccination and batch number, they bahave irresponsibly.and I get certificate from the office after calling chalakudy MLA. covid help desk was useless around 30 times called to get a reply.

Good treatment as per a government hospital

Poor experience the hospital and staff behaviour not good Last for days ima waiting for covid test result until now noon respond also no taking the responsibility. When I ask they don't know about what is the result PCR test should be within 24 hours need to give the result now 4 days not receive the result what kind of responsibility this Even when we them they getting angry to me or my family Health department need to follow with this issue.
