Visited this doctor a few months back. First and foremost when we enter his room, he asks us how we came to know about this clinic and reply via google, he notes down that advertisement money is worth it. Secondly and very bad thing is he is not ready to listen to what the patient has to say, his response is that he has a method of treating. This is what's called the god complex in doctors thinking they're above others. Please avoid this doctor at all costs. Forget the medication, he writes a bunch of medicines that will most definitely suppress your symptoms for the time being which will surface back after the effects of the medicines wear off or come back to bite you as some other side effects. And yeah, he also sells medicines. Edit (15/10/2022) : Since the doctor or his associates decided to respond to a comment after 6 months. No, you didn't't listen to me at all, not even for a minute. I don't care if yo have 27 years or 270 years experience or if you retired from wherever, that doesn't make you invincible. When it comes to allergy, it's very important the history, genetics and environemental factors. When I started talking itself you stopped me and told me, "Make it brief' in a rude way and then told me, "Here I have my own way of treating". And no, again to the reference part. You're doing a google ad, anybody who uses google will clearly see that which is the reason your name is suggested by google when we type about asthma or breathing issues on google. Not because the AI knows you're a professor at medical college or you've been doing this for 34 years. So yes, please get rid of the God complex and ego that doctors have.

I had a very bad experience after consulting this clinic. I believe this is the first time I am writing such a negative review in my profile. I took my father for a consultation after he complained of persistent cough and breathing issues. The doctor was more curious to know about how we came to know about this clinic and our financial whereabouts. He was least bothered to hear our concerns and showed lack of interest. We have been compelled to buy the medicines from their pharmacy only saying that these medicines will be only available here and need to get it from here itself. The doctor prescribed Clarithromycin (500 mg) antibiotic to my father who is 70+ years old. This antibiotic is not all recommended to be prescribed for elderly people as it has adverse side effects such as fluid retention, bloating, swelling on body, and can even induce cardiac arrest. They did not even bothered to ask my father whether he is having any heart related ailments and was prescribed to take it 3 times in a day. My father had to face adverse side effects after having this medicine which made his whole body swollen and he faced difficulty in eating food. It made him very tired and he was unable to walk and sit properly. Later we had to hospitalize him for 10 days for further treatment. Medicines provided from the pharmacy are not reliable as it is manufactured by a company which is not well known. I would personally advise you all to visit a different pulmonologist in Thrissur instead of visiting this clinic. I don't understand why a person in their late 60s who has worked for many years is still pursuing financial gain. The doctor seems to be more focused on money rather than focusing on the well being of the patient.

Doctor’s medicines are effective as long as you use it. Never expect a permanent cure as promised because allergy related diseases are actually not possible to cure completely. And his medicines are not available anywhere else other than this clinic. I have treated for almost 10 months but once the medicine stops or skips, its the same as before. Mostly money oriented and greedy people. Always it will be around Rs.2000-5000 for each consultation including medicines. Never expect below than that. Another sad part is, doctor is not at all interested to listen to patients at any time. Mostly consultation will be done in less than a minute and his lady assistants are eagerly waiting for your money to collect. I have Spent almost 25000 in 10 months and no better result. 😕

I had a very bad experience with this doctor, it was my second visit today. He was not willing to listen what I am saying and not even interested to check me, consultation was only less than 1min. And asked me to continue same medicine for other 2weeks and Charged me another 400rs. And the worstest part is that, the medicine was packed even before he checked me. He is only interested in selling medicine and in hurry to check other patients. Medicines without any bills or not bank transfer methods. Its a perfect way of looting money. My opinion is NEVER GIVE A TRY FOR THIS DOCTOR!!!

Froud doctor only for business, consulting fees very higher than other super speciality hospital.There have no bill, i visited there before 3 week he gave me i week medicine but i didn't any improvement . Then i visited there after 1 week he gave me same medicine for 2 week at the time i asked inhaler.Then he do PFT test . Fees is very high. Then i showed that PFT result another pulmonologist they asked me he do this test not well . He is a ego doctor he is not ok to show other doctors treatment documents. I was bad experience from there .

This dr appeared to be greedy and demanding his charges only in Cash although he is having a digital machine with him. He takes it out seldom at a stage that he might lose a patient. His charges are also exorbitant and his behaviour is rude sometimes as if the patients are approaching him for a loan! Patients DO NOT pay cash since hewill insist for Cash even before examination! Probably to evade tax/GST, thereby cheating the Govt..Pay only thru' digital like Google pay, Phone pay etc. Don't lose your hard earned money. Thanks.

Dr. Kurian Thomas is a retired Pulmonology Professor from Thrissur Medical College. He is a very senior doctor who has private practise in this clinic located in Pipleline Road, Chembukkav behind Sacred Heart school. The clinic is located near to Chetana Sangeet Natya Academy. There's no car parking space available, so you will either have to find a space somewhere on the roadside or will have to park you car elsewhere and take a small walk to this clinic. Dr. Kurian Thomas is a specialist in Asthma and Allergic treatments. I travelled 70 kms all the way to Thrissur with my mom so that she could consult him for her allergy related issues. And I've been here for more than 3 times now. His treatment is pretty good. Heard about him from a relative of mine who suggested his name to my mom for her allergy. If you werent able to find his clinic, look for Dr. Rony's Ayur Thoughts ayurvedic clinic or Harwin Nest Apartment. The clinic is located exactly opposite to Harwin Nest Apartment and Dr. Rony's Ayur Thoughts ayurvedic clinic. There is a waiting area inside the clinic which can accommodate around 15-20 people. The washroom is neat and well maintained. There are few seats available at the entrance of the clinic as well, if you do not find a space to sit in the waiting area. They provide you with newspapers for you to spend time while you wait for the consultation. One suggestion what I have is that they shouldn't be charging more than MRP for the medicines which I have noted and others who consulted him complained to me the same thing as well. Does not provide any bill for the medicines and just says an amount which would be more than the total of MRPs of all the medicines you got. Consultation fee is INR 150.

I got very bad experience from here. He is very money minded and grabbing money from the patients. Seeing for first he is enquiry about the money you have.Making us prone to various tests and charging more than what it actually costs. .I don't want to recomment this doctor to anyone...

Not recommending..! I consulted this doctor for allergic treatment and got only temporary solution. Once I stopped the medicine same symptoms started producing. Materialistic behavior by doctor & staff. Very greedy for money. No bills for consultation or medicines. Not organized. Even for a minor symptoms he prescribes 1 month tablets and forcing me to go for it. For 1 or 2 mins rapid consultation and 1000+ payment always. Pathetic way of OP..!

Good treatment. Know this clinic since 17 years. My 10 relatives got full clear of their asthma and allergy. Best Pulmonologist in Thrissur. Very caring and listens to our complaints in detail. Very clean clinic. A very caring doctor. God bless.

I can give only one star. Was treatment here more than 2 years. Always giving repeated medicines. Not listening from patient side. I cant realise any smell past 2 years bcz of nasal polyp. Even he is not checking properly what's real issue. Always giving a nasal spray. No use. Now we changed the hospital, they are the one who found the real issue of smell and we are under treatment there. Thanks god🙏🏻

Very bad bad experience....yesterday I booked for doctor consultation but they didn't allow... staff behaved very badly and so rude......now they are telling consult another pediatrician for my child.. they only need money....consultation charge are very high... he is not such a good doctor...he forgott his oath.....

One of the worst consulting experience. This doctor is only depending on money. One visit will empty your pocket. These medicenes are only availabe there and they will charge outrageous amount. They will make you wait unecceasserily. The medicine are only availabe there and not anywhere else in the WORLD.solution is just temporary. I will defineatly say that you shall not go to this doctor

Really great doctor . I went with my dad for his allergies more than a 25 years . He explained how to use the nose spray , This is very important. After few days of this visit, his nose problems reduced so much. I recommend everyone to visit this doctor. We paid less charges for consultation and it is worth every single rupee. This doctor talks more and treats less. The "let's fix it now" conversation. 5 years and still not cured. Although the money is high, there is no shortage of arrogonce. Disdain for tests done in other labs and doctors. Minimum bill from Rs.1000 to Rs.1500. So be careful.

Jayagopalan was under Dr Kurian Thomas care for 17 years . He was fully controlled of his asthma and allergy. Lot of patkents referred by me were also fully cured. Best Pulmonologist in Kerala.

Best doctor that I have come across in Thrissur! I consult him for my grand father who is 86 years and has COPD. During Covid 2 times he saved him by doing correct diagnosis of Pneumonia. Both times he saved us from going to hospital and ensured that he got well at home itself with timely follow-ups. We can't thank him enough for all service and care given! Clinic is extremely hygienic with strict protocols. This is the most important thing that one should look at during these pandemic times! We feel safe to go to his clinic at all times. We are lucky to have such a great doctor in vicinity!

Asthma allergy doctor dr kurian Thomas is known to me for 15 years. Iam satisfied with doctors treatment as pulmonology professor.

I took my mother to several doctors, even admitted and treated at Class A hospital at EKM, but was of no use. She was having continuous cough followed by urine infection. With one dose medicine from Dr Kurian, this disease never came again. Its been 4 years now. Came across this website now, so posting my comment.

We need Doctors like him, who can understand the actual problem we are suffering from the symptoms itself, very experienced , his treatment is for permanent solution .

Concering money only. I went there with my father 2 years back doctor never physically examined him. Prescribed for some tests only. On every follow- up he was not asking the progress or how he felt after medication. Just prescribed the same medicine to continue. The most wiered thing we experienced was he asked how much money you have before prescribed the medicine Behaving with patients playing important role in treatment but his behaving also a little rude.Their medicine only available in their own pharmacy
