My
experience
at
Dental
wellness
Clinic
,
a
multispeciality
family
dental
care
and
cosmetic
centre
,
near
Ashwini
hospital,
opposite
to
Bismi
hypermarket,
Patturaikkal
Trissur,
is
w
orth
sharing
as
it
may
help
clients
who
seeks
dental
treatment.
I
had
to
deliver
a
talk
on
the
topic
significance
of
brain
in
learning
disorders'
for
an
academy.
Two
days
before
the
talk,
I
had
a
fall
and
four
incisors
in
the
upper
jaw
got
damaged
and
became
black
which
gave
ugly
look
to
my
face.
I
cancelled
the
talk
because
the
present
ugly
looking
face
may
become
a
sure
source
of
distraction.
and
decided
to
take
dental
treatment
immediatly.
Due
to
covid-19
only
very
few
dental
clinics
were
found
open
in
Thrissur
district.
I
was
frantically
searching
for
a
dentist
as
my
regular
dentist's
clinic
was
not
opened.
Meanwhile
I
found
out
Dental
wellness
clinic
which
gave
me
a
ray
of
hope.
But
with
out
much
expectation
to
get
treatment,as
pandamic
still
persists,
I
entered
the
clinic.
I
met
doctor
Jo,
I
desperately
explained
my
immediate
need,
Dr
listened
very
carefully.
As
doctor
was
wearing
personal
protective
clothes
,mask
and
protective
face
shield,
and
will
not
?
could
not
see
his
face
and
eyes
for
proper
communication,
to
be
frank
I
never
expected
a
sympathetic
consideration
or
get
treatment
as
every
individual
is
potentially
dangerous
covid
distributer.
To
my
surprise
soon
I
realised
that,
my
judgement
was
wrong.
He
was
a
very
soft
person
which
cannot
be
assessed
due
to
the
eye
to
eye
communication
was
not
possible.
Though
not
dentists,
two
doctors
said
there
is
no
other
way
but
to
remove
all
teeth
and
fix
denture
set
and
it
was
never
pleasant
to
hear
and
unimaginable.
It
is
true
that
I
need
not
give
importance
to
my
appearance
in
my
70s.
Appearance
has
no
much
significance
but
at
least
presentable
before
any
group,especially
because
I
had
already
undertaken
to
handle
four
zoom
sessions
to
that
academy
for
their
diploma
course.
Dr.jo
had
carefully
examined
and
in
his
calm
polite
voice
expressed
his
expert
opinion,
that
prima
facie
it
is
difficult
to
rectify
and
never
gave
any
false
promise.
A
detailed
examination
is
necessary
As
there
is
chance
for
complications
due
to
infection
as
these
teeth
were
fixed
earlier
and
there
was
no
subsequent
follow-ups
as
advised
by
my
earlier
dentit.It
was
sure
that
there
was
clear
neglegence
to
the
core
from
my
side
which
created
the
present
sad
state
of
affairs.
Dr
jo
diected
me
to
take
X
Ray
from
outside
also
again
after
a
careful
examination
for
about
half
an
hour
he
said
it
is
difficult
case,
likely
to
have
some
complication.
I
learnt
the
meaning
of
the
word
disappointment
by
experincing
it.....
Finally
he
said
"
let
me
see"
there
was
a
mild
tone
of
assurance
in
his
voice
which
gave
some
hope
and
mental
comfort,
soon
I
understood
he
was
a
soft
person
with
soft
hands
he
examined
by
touching
on
gum
which
caused
no
pain
even
for
minor
indication
of
pain
Dr
jo
immediatly
take
messeres
like
spraying
some
pain
killer,
medicine
and
waited
till
the
fear
of
pain
disappears.
Preferance
was
given
always
to
avoid
pain
to
the
patient
at
any
cost.
"Freedom
from
horrible
pain"
is
a
dream
of
any
patient
who
goes
to
a
dentist.
doctor's
consoling
words
and
soft
touches
on
tooth
and
gum
gave
me
real
mental
relief.
With
six
or
seven
sessions
Dr
jo
fixed
my
teeth
without
causing
even
mild
pain
with
his
wonderful
,comfortable
approach
and
expertise.
He
never
assured
or
gave
false
hope
and
expectation
about
the
success
of
treatment.
But
to
my
surprise
he
completed
the
work
with
at
most
satisfaction
very
successfully.His
approach
is
really
worth
mentioning,his
commitment
to
patient
is
evident
as
he
directly
contact
each
patient
over
phone
to
know
their
condition,
whenever
required
about
their
problem
after
each
session.
I
have
no
hesitation
to
recommend
this
dental
clinic
to
any
person
because
I
had
directly
experienced
and
was
fully
satisfied
with
the
treatment
I
received
from
the
clinic,
a
painless
wellness
centre.
