The place is very natural and beautiful by bamboo, and walking towards bamboo is fantastic. The only problem is that photography is not allowed, and trespassers are punished by law.

A good place to relax thats all After that you can go to some places near 1.Muniyattukunnu 2.kunjalipara 3.Ambanoli a small water fall near velligulaghara (it's not famous) 4.If you have time you can also get into chimmini dam

It was very calm and quiet there. You can walk around the bamboo forest and it was a nice experience.

Mulakad is a beautiful sight but it is not a tourist area. It is a forest area under the Vellikulangara forest range and trespassing without permission is punishable.

It is a natural Bamboo forest. This is a hidden treasure. Not even lot of people in Thrissur know about this place. Good place for picnic. Only small shops nearby, so bring food. Please be considerate to others by taking back your trash.

It is located 21 KM towards East from District head quarters Thrissur. 2 KM from Kodakara. Nice place for photo shoot, wedding photo shoot.
