A small auditorium which can accommodate around 250 people. No permanent sound system available. Plastic chairs available for seating. Not air-conditioned. Parking available for 25-30 cars. Right on the heart of Thrissur town with ready accessibility.

Kerala sahithya Akademi is a government affiliation under cultural department of Kerala. Which is located at Thrissur, chembukaavu, near Thrissur town hall. Kerala sahithya Akademi is only 500 meters from Thrissur north bus stand and 1.5 km from south bus stand. There is a showroom. In the Akademi compound. Books which are published by different akademies like Kerala Kala mandalam, Kerala Sangeetha nataka Akademi, Kerala Lalitha kala academic, state institute of child literature, state institute of literature, National book stall are available in the showroom. And there is a library for researchers. Which is one of the biggest library in Kerala. And also, a portrait gallery is located in the compound. Which is a display of portraits of different writers in Kerala. An open stage called 'Basheer vedhi' is also in the campus. And three auditoriums named Vylopilly hall, Changampuzha hall, and Akademi main hall.

Neat and clean. But Gents' lavatory door is to be repaired. The door of toilet can not be locked. Hence to use the same is not safe....
