Tried out the Beef biriyani on the menu. The portion size could easily fill one person. Beef was soft and well cooked. However, the overall flavour of the biriyani seemed lacking; it was not all that flavourful or spicy and tasted a bit bland to be honest. They served the biriyani with dried grape pickle, which felt like a novelty.

UB grills... Good spot for Arabian food, especially Shawarma and Alfahm. Last time tried their Whole meat shawarma and Peri peri Alfahm. Both were good and tasted above average. Whole meat Shawarma is wrapped in rumali and tasted good. They are not serving rumali or Arabic kuboos along with Al Fahm but the so called Indian kuboos. Tried their mint lime as well which was also good. The main con is that the place don't have parking space. You find some place to park your vehicles. The second thing is if you are going out on weekends, there is a slight delay in serving the food. Saturdays and Sundays are usually busy for dinner. They have a/c and non a/c dine in space. Accepts all mode of payment.

The food is really tasty. Moderately expensive. They are famous for their shavarma and alfahm.I tried their normal alfahm and was good. Their mionese was a little sour in taste, which I didn't like personally. The ambience at ac hall is more better than the normal area.

A decent restraunt situated in St. Thomas road, Thrissur. Car parking available. Service is a bit slow. Their beef biriyani was good. Barbeque tasted average only.

One of the best shawarma I have had in recent time, loved the mild flavour I could really taste the chicken veggies were very less so that the chickens taste was not spoiled. I would definitely recommend this place. Car parking is an issue here. You have to park your car somewhere else.

It was wonderful at Thajine. Me and my friends usually go to this beautiful place. Even though it is situated in a place less noticeable, the tastes here are unforgettable. Thajine also has many branches sharing the same tastes everywhere.

I wouldn't say that food is the best.. but it was not bad. But the service was slow and bad. we had to loterally wait for more than 10 mins for someone to attend our order. Not even a glass of water was offered within the first 5 mins after getting seated. We had to call them to take our order, which as a customer I didnt feel good about. Ambience was average.

These restaurant is one of the good tastes of Arabian cuisine in Thrissur. Wanted to taste some, Great traditional and Arabic cuisine you should come here. The interior is so adorable and service gives me immense pleasure to have good dine here. There is also ac lounge facility. Food is good and prepared in hygienic atmosphere. I recommend these restaurant to family and friends and for loved ones. You can enjoy delicious cuisine with pocket rate and with great luxury. I'm only giving 4 star because of low parking space. Travellers are also welcomed here. Visited twice and happy very much. 😋

The best shawarma i ate from thrissur !! I had tried a minimum of 10 times from here and the best thing about their shawarma is consistency. Also the Service and atmosphere is nyc. Whenever someone asks me about best shawarma spot in thrissur there is only one option for me thats " Thajine "

I would recommend you to try their smoked cheese shawarma. It was really good in quantity and quality. Afghan Grilled Chicken was also soft, non spicy and flavourful. An excellent value for money place. Their team also cross checked about the taste and quality which I rarely find at such places The only problem I would say is their limited parking.

We reached there for lunch. We ordered a smoked cheesy shawarma and Thai chilly barbecue. Both was very delicious one. The prices are little high but the taste of food is worth it. The services are also of high standard but the place was little crowded.

A new place for tasty grills. The order takes serving time of 30 min for most of the dishes. Their service is good and can be improved. With concentration on grills, they really are trying bring unique taste to the plates.

Royal fruit salad and Oreo shake with nuts very yummy. Shawarma option with Rumali roti or qubus. They don't offer french fries plate separately and no vegetarian grilled items so that's a drawback for vegetarians. But have juice, smoothies, fruit salad options. Staff response good

Good place for a quick dining. Congested seating and staff consistently looking to remove you from your seat to accommodate others. Good food. Can visit if the options are less.

I had a satisfying experience at Thajine Restaurant where I ordered their regular BBQ and a side of French fries. The BBQ was well-cooked and flavorful, and the French fries were crispy and enjoyable. While the meal was delicious, I've given it 4 stars because there was a bit of a delay in the service. Nonetheless, the taste and quality of the food definitely made up for it. The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, adding to the overall dining experience. If not for the slight delay, I would have easily given it a full 5 stars.

I love veggies to bite and so tried their normal shawarma. They use romali roti as wrap and the whole meal was flavourful and satisfying. But they should improve the seating as the cottage on its right looked shabby and ghosted.

Tried Chicken and beef biriyani. Rice Quality was good but lacks life. Very less gravy and not at all spicy. Will feel bored while having it. Abt meat, beef was good but chicken was very bad. They should offer a toothpick. Raita was served in very small quantity and without a spoon. I guess they expect us to have it by hand. Overall not at all worthy for the price.(190 for chicken biriyani & 180 for beef biriyani.) Not recommended.

Grilled chicken was good. The shawarma however had too much mayonnaise. The biryani was not heated before serving, was at room temperature so not much appreciated inspire of being fairly tasty. The staff were friendly and service very quick

This is not the first time we're ordering from UB. UB is one of the best places in thrissur known for their Shawarmas and Alfahams. On Saturday at around 7 pm we ordered the Afghani BBQ and Kashmiri BBQ. The Kashmiri BBQ tasted fine but our usual Afghani BBQ which we craved for since the first time we had it, was reaaaaaaally bad. It was unusually sour and the essence of elaichi was all over the BBQ. The mayonnaise that came along with it was sour too. The green chutney was so watery there was no base to even use it properly. Very disappointed with your service, UB. Please work on it.
