Vattayi Waterfall, located in Kerala, India, is a hidden gem that offers a serene retreat for nature lovers. This cascading waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a picturesque setting that's perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. The waterfall is relatively unknown, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tranquility away from crowded tourist spots. The journey to the waterfall is an adventure in itself, with a trek through the dense forest that offers a chance to witness the rich biodiversity of the region. Once you reach the waterfall, the sight of water cascading down the rocks and the soothing sound of the falling water create a mesmerizing experience. The pool at the base of the waterfall is a great spot for a refreshing dip. It's advisable to visit the waterfall during the monsoon season when it's at its full glory. However, the path can be slippery during this time, so it's important to be cautious. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventurous trek, Vattayi Waterfall is a great choice. Remember to carry your essentials and leave no trace behind to preserve the natural beauty of this place.πŸ‘Œβ€πŸ‘€

It's a small and beautiful waterfall. Hardly 150 meters away from road. There is a shallow pool on the downstream. We can do fish pedicure at free of cost on the pool.

Second on bottom..which is the best spot for friends nd bachelors... Ways are separate to these waterfalls... The way to waterfall which is down..is bit risky.. But it's okay if we take care... It was one of the unexplored places near thrissur. No crowd. The falls is of one storey building height and you can bath in it also. There are no sign boards or anything, but the google maps location is correct. No entry fee, as it still not recognised tourist spot. You can park your vehicle on the roadside and has to walk almost 200 meters. The view is beautifull.

Should visit during mansoon when there is enough flow. Really safe for a bath. Visiting time ends at 6.00 pm evening. Natural fish massage is another main attraction of this place.

A very natural waterfalls created by nature. Visited during October month and there was plenty of water. Its very much safe as you can see in the images and hence I can say that its suitable for all ages. Vattayi waterfls is located around 8 Kms from Tiroor junction and the road way to the falls is very good, takes around 15 minutes drive. Only negative is that, after parking our vehicle, we will have to step down through a slab in order to reach the destination which might be difficult for familes. Also please dont forget to avoid slippery stones in and out of the water.

Upto 3 - 4 years back, vattayi was very calm place, with few people . But nowadays it becomes very popular and for that also heavy rush in holidays. We miss our good old vattayi days 😒
