Reception and staff were very courteous and helpful from check-in. Rooms were clean and ready even before time. We even got a card and treat for our celebration. Breakfast was good and a good range of food, including fruits. Good location, close to amenities and parking was not an issue. Security was very present. The garden and sitting areas behind were on the smaller side, but cozy and pretty- as was the pool. Overall, I had a pretty good experience.

A good starting point for a vacation to Trinidad and Tobago or centrally located if in town for business or functions. Rooms facing the city look out onto the parking lot, waterfront view is recommended.

I am a Trinidadian living abroad and I recently returned home for a visit. I opted to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott and was impressed upon arrival. When in TT, I am usually frustrated with the lack of customer service. Marriott is an exception. This hotel should serve as a model for the rest of the service industry in my beautiful country. From Sheliza, Front Desk and Shenida, room attendant, the service was exceptional! I definitely plan on staying here for future visits. Additionally, the rooms are contemporary and comfortable. Thanks to the entire Marriott team for making my stay peaceful and welcoming.

Spent my anniversary here. My stay here was beyond my expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The entire place was very clean. They vacuum the carpets along the corridors regularly and housekeeping does an amazing job. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with a wide range of dishes to choose from. Dinner from Centro restaurant was also an amazing one. My favourite dish from the menu was the Shrimp Pasta with olive oil and sun dried tomatoes. The layout of the room and bathroom was a very nice and modern… quite spacious and equipped with the basic amenities. Lovely pool and garden area with tall palm trees.

I must say the experience was worth it. Secure parking, courteous and helpful staff. The food is excellent. They do a version of local dishes that are unmatched. I must make special mention of the pineapple chow, if it had any leftover; I would have left with it. I forgot to take pics but the overall ambience is beautiful. It's cozy, the bathrooms are spacious. No complaints at this time.

Rooms were spacious and great service. Located beside a plaza with restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. No views of the ocean, and somewhat mountain views, if you look beyond the massive stadium.

Friendly staff, very clean spaces, depending on your stay, my Dad enjoyed his stay and he would do it in a heartbeat. Very convenient to grab food both in the hotel and next to movie Towne too grab food and coffee and so on

Not the best experience in this hotel. The service, the breakfast were on a very low level. Professionalism of employees in a hotel worth 240 usd a night should be far more advanced. Security guy sleeps during his work and it was only 9 pm, it even took me some time to wake him up. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6, but there wasn’t anything to take the food with , no forks or anything. But the room was great - clean, most importantly!

Great property, well maintained. Gerard and his colleagues at the dining area were exceptional! Everything went extremely well until it was time to check out. There were phone charges on the phone from my room on my folio. I got the perception that the front desk representative didn't believe when I said, "it wasn't me". I asked what time were the calls made, only to find out if was around 11am (right when I was in the middle of business meetings at a business location elsewhere). This is quite concerning. I would have hoped for a better response to my concerns. Hoping they pull the key card logs to identify who was in my room around that time. Your guests trust you with their safety and wellbeing. Please don't let us down.

A fantastic experience from checkin to checkout. I recently spent 7 nights here and it was great. The staff are friendly, professional, and one of the high points of my stay here. The food and service were outstanding. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel also has a nice pool and courtyard area. I will be coming back here again on my next visit. Since it is located next to Movietown, there is easy access to restaurants and shops. Thank you POS Courtyard by Marriott you made my stay very enjoyable.

My family and I enjoyed our experience at the Courtyard by Marriott. The staff members were very accommodating throughout our entire stay, our room was in immaculate condition and cleaned daily, and at no point did we ever feel unsafe as the security conducted themselves with great dedication. The hotel is local to malls, restaurants, a golf course, cricket stadium, movie theatre, Ariapita Avenue (nightlife hotspot) and much, much more. I highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott.

I visited here for a drug update recently. They were conducting some repairs to the building and the weather was rainy. During our update, the electricity went and thankfully. the generator kicked in. The space was cozy and served its purpose. The food was good but I’ve also had better options served at other restaurants.

First off, special thanks to Eliza Melissa, Beena, Christina, and the rest of the staff. I have stayed here before and received the same awesome service. Great accommodation and service. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean accommodations. Continental breakfast with local food, parking, and pool available.

Stayed here on a business trip. Lovely hotel. Guard keys you in out front so secure entrance. Buffet style breakfast with many choices. Restaurant had good food for other meals. Rooms are nice and clean. Provided toiletries are nice and smell good. Quiet hotel with good AC.

I spent a weekend and it was very relaxing. The room is gorgeous and very clean. Staff was fantastic, very welcoming willing to assist with everything. Only 1 issue I experienced was with room service. I ordered chicken parmesan, baked potato with vegetables and a long Island Iced Tea. The iced tea was fantastic. The meal however lacked in both presentation and taste. It seem to be a frozen dinner purchased at a supermarket which is microwaved for guests. Thankfully there are many restaurant offerings nearby at movietowne

This place has the best guest service I have experienced at any of the hotels in Trinidad. I have never felt more welcomed and valued as guest. I will definitely be returning.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Pos 3 days 2 nights (August 11-13th 2023) and it was refreshing to receive such wonderful service. I’ve stayed many places before but the warmth you felt from the staff was mind blowing. They even surprised me with a mini cake and balloon as it was my birthday. I will definitely recommend and I’ll be sure to stay again!

Kids enjoyed the pool & outdoor seating. Plenty of eating spots within walking distance. Rooms cleaned daily with the trash emptied multiple times per day.

Courtyard by Marriot delivers on clean spacious rooms and great customer service. All staff members were extremely helpful and amicable. It's located in close proximity to great restaurant options and nightlife.

VERY nice staff, super comfortable and clean. Loved the room with terrace. Enjoyed the swimming pool and the breakfast staff.

I would rate this place four stars however, the inconvenience of having to leave my room to heat things up in the microwave in the lobby really irked me. I believe this may have something to do with fire safety but I think a floor microwave would be extremely helpful if this is the reason. The staff was excellent, very friendly, quite knowledgable and not to be cavalier but critical thinking skills are impecable, a breath of fresh air compared to the Trinidad norm but I digress. Excellent location, the mall fully equipped with restaurants for different pockets, a cinema and shopping therapy outlets are a 5-minute walk away. The food here is lovely, a bit pricey but not unexpected because hotel 🤣 I do enjoy my stay here, I feel whisked away from reality for a bit.

Rules are not adhered to or enforced when a complaint is made. There was a guy smoking and drinking alcohol while bathing in the pool. Even though we complained twice whilst informing the staff that we have an asthmatic child nothing was done. Will never stay there again.

It was great the place was nice the people was nice and evey thing was great but only one thing is that you can only have up to 5 devices on WiFi at a time but overall the stay was great

The worst breakfast on the face of the planet!! Hilton breakfast is a million times better. Do not add breakfast to your stay... Eat air and water instead of breakfast at the Marriott

Everyone was friendly and helpful, housekeeping, front desk, chefs guards, etc. They made us feel welcomed and at home. The food for breakfast was also delicious and the and the nearby mall added to our delight. This hotel offers a gym but no other fun sporting activities which I missed so I played basketball on the terrace but I felt, that might have disturbed some of the guests

Friendly staff, excellent location and the rooms were modern and comfortable but the soundproofing on the doors need work because in the hallway I could clearly hear people's conversations...especially a man chastising his kids.

Did not get the opportunity to use most of the amenities available, however the staff were polite, professional, friendly and quite willing to address questions/issues I had. Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Dear Sir/ Madam, I just wanted to thank the personnel at your hotel, specifically Melissa and Steve Hill! I was recently admitted to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago at the Hall of Justice, Port of Spain. My parents were so pleased with the occasion that they decided to treat me to dinner afterwards. They chose the Marriott Restaurant, and I was really impressed with the experience, particularly the customer service provided by Melissa and Steve Hill. We were met kindly at the door by Mr. Steve Hill, who took us to the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by Melissa, the most customer service oriented employee I have ever met. She greeted us kindly, led us to our seats, and served us drinks. She then provided us with the menu and provided our meals with a smile. With her personality and a warm attitude, she shared some light conversation with us while she was indeed busy and kept ensuring we were comfortable and if she can do anything for us to help us enjoy our stay there. But I will never forget what Melissa did! When her shift was done, she politely informed us that it was a pleasure serving us and presented us to our new waitress. In all humility, my father explained why we were having this dinner (my admission to the Bar of T&T), and she was overjoyed and congratulated me as if she had known me her entire life! She was about to leave and she asked the other waitress for a few more minutes with us , and she surprised me by bringing a small congratulatory cake for my special occasion. She then asked my father for his camera and snapped shots of all of us, and left us in a state of happiness and comfort. In my opinion, the finest things about restaurants and hotels is not so much the food nor the accommodations, but the pleasant customer service! Great staff and service, excellent location next to cinemas and outdoor mall with restaurants and shops. Quiet and comfortable pool and seating areas. Consistently clean facilities with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast staff was particularly helpful on a very busy morning. Breakfast is always top quality. Convenient location just adjacent to Movietowne Port of Spain

Very standard experience. Room and bathroom size are good. Very basic amenities in the bathroom, you have to request for body lotion, showercap etc. No much options for dining including breakfast. Breakfast is just basic and everyday same. Compared with other major hotels, Courtyard Marriott is at the best location though. At walkable distance, you have nice restaurants and multi screen cinema.

Five stars across the board may seem unrealistic, but the Courtyard by Marriott Port of Spain is something to experience. The employees are simply wonderful; always smiling and have great personalities. Everything else falls in place. And that's how my wife and I were able to thoroughly enjoy Carnival weekend. There's nothing more satisfying than an atmosphere that reminds you of home. In all sections of the hotel you interact with really professional individuals, some of whom I remember, the likes of Melissa, Elisa, Dillon, Peaches, Joleesa, Nathaniel, Steve, Donna, Christopher and Faith. Keep smiling, keep shining crew! Customers are watching and taking note.
