Always a great stop for a true trini fave. Their items are always consistently good and the service is quick and friendly. Be sure to try the bread, channa and cheese. They also offer stewed chicken, liver , gizzard, chow mein and a wide array of drinks.

Hops bread with choice of stew chicken, chow mein, channa or cheese in any combination that you want And the prices are really reasonable I and my family have been eating there more than 40 years 3 or 4 times every month

Great service: friendly and efficient. Bread and channa with cheese tastes really good. Two of them fills you up. Place is clean and well ventilated with lots of windows but no air conditioning. There's a sink to wash hands. Lots of space for social distancing while waiting in line. Menu is visible and easy to read. Prices are reasonable. Parking is along the main road right in front of the building and easy to get into; can get full during busy periods.

My favourite sandwich shop. From childhood to adulthood they're still #1 ❤️ I especially love that I can call in my order. 😀

Nick’s fondly known as (Bread & Channa) is a must visit when in the Charleville area. The quality has not wavered over the years and staff continues to provide excellent customer service. Prices are still quite affordable for anyone’s budget despite rising pricing throughout the country. My personal favourite - bread with chow mein & cheese, slight pepper 😋

No long wait, hot, fresh food! Reasonably priced! What more do you want? I won't even consider calling in my order when the service is so so quick! Just make sure and reach early before they're all sold out

Ordered sandwiches from Nick's Café for a staff breakfast. The service on pick up was excellent, the food was packaged very well. We had their Channa, Chicken and Chow Mein sandwiches and the staff really enjoyed it. Taste was on point and more than enough for everyone.

Yes, well this is place to eat! I never thought that I'd ever enjoy bread and channa until I had theirs.

Boy. Listen. You cannot beat Nicks. Cheese and channa, chicken and chowmein. They have maintained their quality and taste for years. Others have tried to mimic the product. None can come close.

Nick's cafe has been around before I was born! To this day it is a go to for a simple bread and channa sandwich. You can have this for breakfast or for lunch and it's easy on the pocket. A healthier alternative to doubles.

If you enjoy bread and channa and bread and chicken or bread and chow mein, here's the cafe for you. Though the food sounds simple, it's filled with flavor that has been consistent with 1989 in my memory, I was a nine year old, attending common entrance lessons on caroni Savannah road by Mr. Hootus, so walking to Nick's cafe on a Saturday and Sunday morning from lessons to buy a bread and channa or chicken, is not only filled with flavor and nourishment for me, but my entire childhood and teenage life of memories from family outings with my parents and brother are linked to food and the hospitality from Nick's and his wife there. To this day, my parents though in their late sixties now, still enjoy bread and channa from Nick's cafe with my brother and myself. It's a food I even introduced my husband, him being from the east never knew of bread and channa or chow mein, now it's a must for him whenever he's on Caroni Savannah Road.
