14
days
in
March
2022.
Let’s
face
it,
these
holidays
are
not
cheap
and
usually
not
the
normal
so
most
are
happy
to
spend
a
bit
more,
that’s
why
my
review
is
so
long
and
detailed.
In
short
it’s
a
great
place
to
stay……but
read
on
if
you
want
the
full
SP.
This
hotel
is
exactly
what
you
imagine
when
you
think
of
this
type
of
holiday.
The
clever
way
the
rooms
have
been
constructed
allows
them
all
to
get
"the
view",
and
it's
stunning,
during
the
day
and
at
night.
Management
were
very
attentive
from
the
moment
we
arrived
and
were
always
there
to
assist
with
enquiries.
There
was
a
100%
masks
policy
on
the
whole
island
but
thankfully
it
was
not
enforced
at
all
in
the
hotel
grounds.
The
rooms
were
large
and
had
everything
you
needed,
also
a
sea
view
balcony
with
mood
lighting...lovely
place
to
sit
before
your
evening
meal.
We
were
half
board.
A
good
choice
at
breakfast
and
very
good
choices
for
evening
meal,
with
a
supplement
for
some
of
the
dishes*.
This
is
a
"no
kids"
hotel
so
the
dining
experience
was
very
pleasant
with
soft
music,
dim
lighting,
and
after
a
few
day’s
nice
subtle
touches
of
familiarity
from
some
of
the
waiters**.
You
had
the
choice
to
eat
in
the
open
fronted
restaurant
or
down
on
the
sand
in
the
beach
hut
nearer
the
sea.
On
two
occasions
all
residents
were
invited
for
complimentary
pre
dinner
drinks
and
canapés
on
the
beach
with
the
management
before
the
evening
meal,
and
they
were
eager
to
listen
to
your
experience
in
the
hotel
and
on
the
island.
This
was
a
very
nice
touch.
The
hotel
also
provided
bikes
and
scooters
(small
fee),
you
just
had
to
book
to
insure
if
required
for
a
certain
day.
Our
stay
was
memorable
and
very
enjoyable.
So
you
may
wonder
why
the
4
stars
rather
than
the
full
5.....
read
on.
To
the
management:
The
beach
front
is
breath-taking
and
hugely
inviting,
however
your
choice
of
beach
equipment,
or
lack
of
it,
was
equally
breath-taking,
broken
paddles,
snorkels
from
last
century
and
only
a
few
SUP
boards.
You
don't
have
to
walk
far
on
the
beachfront
to
see
what
other
hotels
are
offering.
Several
residents,
including
us,
bought
the
new
style
full
face
snorkels
in
the
local
huge
supermarket.
Now
for
my
biggest
gripe.....**there
appeared,
or
it
came
across
to
us,
to
be
subtle
touting
from
the
waiters,
it
was
up
front
and
not
underhanded,
however
it
was
bizarre
and
quite
frankly
not
required
and
unnecessary…..
-
this
happened
to
everyone,
once
a
week,
on
the
same
day.
Immediately
as
we
sat
down
for
evening
meal
we
were
offered
the
"special
cocktail”,
it
was
far
from
special
and
much
more
expensive
than
the
already
abundant
cocktails
being
offered
on
the
drinks
menu.....if
it’s
so
special
stick
it
on
the
drinks
menu
at
the
inflated
cost...anyway
be
ready
for
that
one.-
as
I
mentioned
the
food
was
great
and
waiters
very
attentive,
however
all
the
resident
newbies
are
targeted
with
the
"sea
food
experience
at
the
beach
hut".
I
honestly
have
no
problem
with
this
extra
special
choice
of
dining
experience
but
more
the
method
in
how
it
was
delivered.
This
is
how
it
happens,
to
everyone…
your
sitting
in
the
lovely
restaurant
on
your
first
night,
so
everything
is
new
and
it
takes
a
minute
to
get
your
head
around
the
way
the
menu
works
as
there
are
a
few
options....when
bam
“here's
the
special
seafood
meal”
for
£50
extra....bearing
in
mind
you've
probably
already
paid
for
your
evening
meals
within
the
hotel
booking......*anyway,
to
the
management,
just
put
the
"special
seafood
meal"
on
the
menu
even
with
the
huge
supplemented
cost
for
everyone
to
see
and
allow
them
to
make
their
own
decision,
at
their
leisure,
if
you
are
at
this
hotel
you
will
notice
to
the
extent
that
this
offer,
in
great
detail,
is
"touted"......same
as
the
"special
cocktail"
,
not
welcome,
and
distasteful
and
an
unnecessary
part
of
the
dining
experience.
I’m
pretty
sure
I
know
what’s
going
on
here
but
I
will
let
you
work
it
out
for
yourselves.
