An interesting museumaraunt (museum and restaurant) owned and operated by a Chinese immigrant food entrepreneur who cooks local delicacies as well as Chinese inspired dishes in a somewhat unusual setting displaying a wide collection of unusual curios. I had a tasty ginger fish dish that did the job. Prices are competitive and staff are friendly and welcoming. Bon appetit.

Let's say it is not the most beautiful restaurant... Let's say it is very ugly restaurant that looks like souvenire shop crossed with restaurant and with super fast bar point... It is not nice inside, do not look for high level service there BUT: 1. Crispy octopus-die for it 2.Crispy calmari-I still miss them 3. Fresh oysters-mhmhmhmhmmmmm 4. Crabs and lobsters are wonderful 5. Fresh grilled fish with the best chips on the island And it is cheap...really cheap... Go there and give them chance-food is genius, overview is specyfic.... But taste is worth to stop there. Do not forget to order crispy octopus...

Good food and at good prices. Rustic place. Decor is not fancy but like old Chinese shops the island had before. Friendly owner. However it takes some time for the food to be ready so if you are not in the mood to wait it would be better to hit the KFC nearby. Good place for a drink with friends though for a chat

Cafe near the local market. We did not finally understand, if there is also a souvenir shop or it's a type of museum :) not many tables, there are fans on the terrace, so it's comfortable. They speak English bad, and I waited around them for 5 minutes (it was 14.00, only 2 tables) while they take the order. The woman was friendly, but slow. We ordered a snack, the food was delicious and not expensive. But nothing special.

Calamari for RS250 small portion. But good and filling. Fried noodle for RS100. Good value for money if your hungry and want to save your money for adventuring, snorkeling etc. Food was good. Chips was really bad, don't order chips here.

The Asian cuisine was delicious and authentic, at very reasonable price. Quaint place with character, and perfect to slow down and relax after touring the town. Highlight though was chatting with the owner, George, after my wife and kids left to go shopping. Just a great guy with a fantastic outlook on life. Had a blast meeting George and he sent me away with coconut cookies for the kids. Very cool that places like this are still around!

Restaurant which dates from the previous century like its owners and the waitress.... The setting is...I can't describe it, words fail me. The meal was OK but I wouldn't want to see the back of the shop. So flee before going there.

Their Porc au Miel has had me coming back for over a decade. Charming spot with a formidable host/owner.

The best food in all of Mauritania! It's better to eat than in a select restaurant 😘

A place with an authentic spirit. It was about time! If you really like to eat in places where the western "soul" has not crept into it, this Chinese restaurant is a good choice!
