The best place to eat in Trou aux Biches! Been here 3 times during my stay and every time the meals have been amazing! Octopus salad here is prob the best I've eaten whole Mauritius trip!

One of the fanciest restaurants in the neighbourhood. The atmosphere is nice and calm with a clear, minimalist interior. The food was served fast and was looking delicious. In my opinion, it looked better than it tasted because most of the dishes were rather bland and unamusing.

Wonderful ambience and cool breezes blow through this upstairs restaurant. Food was delicious, well presented and understated. Classy place for a little beach bistro. Their recommended seafood gratin was lovely.

Wonderful! GREAT Menu, Fantastic service, reassuringly busy! Probably you’ll need to book here as we found out one Friday night. Walking away from the restaurant we were sure we would call right then for the next evening. It was our last night in Trou Aix Biches before heading south and it was just perfect for the occasion. This is easily The Best Place within the vicinity that we have discovered in our week here.

Most fabulous restaurant we found today! The food was superb. Absolutely delicious. We both ate a pasta dish as we were hungry! Fantastic choice and beautifully presented. The staff were amazing. Very attentive with kind personalities. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely. Superb table decor. Spotlessly clean. Lovely background music. Great value for money. All in all highly recommended

Best steak and chips I've had. Starters were great and the chocolate fondant was lovely not too sweet which complimented the icecream really well

Waited on by Chad, lovely waiter. Overall this restaurant is a 5/5 with amazing carpaccio, steak and yellow fin tuna. Don't skip their chocolate fondant either!

Very good restaurant in Trou aux Biches! Food is really really tasty and fresh, service really nice to customers. Prices of course are higher but adequate to quality. Easy access to strollers and wheelchairs. Restaurant is also kids friendy (we few famielies). We were on Mauritius in June 2023, restaurant wasn’t crowded.

Nice restaurant with great service and tasty food. We had the seafood curry, fish vendiya and foster bananas. Last one was our highlight. Perfect for a more fancy dinner to reasonable prices.

Atmosphere is classy. Unfortunately the food wasn't very tasty and portions were small. We had the chicken and shrimp curry and fish vindaya and don't recommend them.

Amazing food and staff. Food was curated and super good. The chocolate tart was amazing. But also all the rest. Perfect place for a refill after the beach.

Friendly staff and nice ambiance. Tuna tartare was nice and fresh (loaded with parsley and coriander which I really appreciated) - could have had a bit more taste with onions for example. Chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream was also good although a bit overcooked.

A great restaurant with a pleasant environment and friendly service. You don't have to wait long for the food, everything is fresh and looks and tastes great. I tasted the best tuna tartar in my life here. In addition, there is sometimes the possibility of tasting excellent homemade rum.

Living near Durban in South Africa, I have eaten a lot of curry in my lifetime. L'Ananas provided the best seafood curry I have ever eaten, laden with octopus, calamari, fish, mussels and prawns. There may be no view or much atmosphere, but I can't wait to go back.

Nice food including local Mauritius cuisine, reasonably priced, nice ambience, quick service, and a bit european serving style. I’m surprised that they are not yet super full, highly recommend!

Very nice and cosy restaurant in the heart of Trou aux Biches! The food and the service was excellent ! Everything is fresh and very well cooked and presented. Price is pretty cheap for what you get in your plate, I recommend 100%

The food was excellent and delicious. The price was excellent for the quality of food. The atmosphere was call and no loud music's so you can have a conversation. Our waiter Eric was wonderful and showed really care to all guest dining. We visited during the evening and all was excellent. Please give it a try, you will not be disappointed but please reserve a table as it's small and cosy.

Very elegant but still cozy place. All the food was very high quality, generous portions, and special tastes and combinations. The service was very friendly and professional. Enjoyed a lot the octopus salad, and the seafood pasta. Highly recommended. מומלץ מאוד!

We ate at L'ananas in May 2022 and really it was some of the best food we had on our 2 week trip. The host and staff were very welcoming, the food was delicious and well priced. The atmosphere was great and in the end we were given a complementary digestif of homemade rum infusion which was so tasty. Really recommend this place if you get a chance to visit..!

Had 2 lovely dinners at L’ananas. Food was delicious and the chef accommodated a kid’s off-menu request without any fuss. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Fish dishes & homemade desserts were delicious . Special thanks to the owner and the chef for arranging transport to/from our hotel. 2 great dining experiences!
