Been here many times and the quality of the food never disappoints me. Ate the largest pizza here. Affordable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean environment and good parking spots

Had high expectations of the food. Turned up on a Saturday at opening time. Our pizza crust was far overdone and the bottom was far too burnt. Judging by the other photos in other reviews, this was a one-off. Came from far to taste the 'best' but didn't. However, the toppings, sauce and cheese were good. The portions were also big. We asked when ordering if the normal size pizza is suitable per person. Turns out it was too much. Drinks overpriced 3-4 times over. And battling the flies whilst eating is not pleasant.

This has been a great find! Got back late one evening so thought we would ask about takeaway - very quickly we were served with lasagne, salad and beer to take home at very reasonable price. All was delicious! So we decided to qo back and eat at the restaurant. Spaghetti bolognaise and spaghetti with prawns and a side of garlic bread. Absolutely lovely food! Could not fault it. Waitress was delightful, in fact all the staff were really friendly and approachable. Will highly recommend.

It was a very nice place! I highly recommend it. I got the family pizza and my family loved it! You are able to half/half your toppings; you are able to get one half one set of toppings and the other, another set of toppings! It is a very nice restaurant! It is one of the best pizza restaurants I can EVER go to!! Also, if you get the family pizza, I recommend to not get any of the starters because it will really fill you up and you will not eat as much pizza.

Friendly host and staff. We had the pizza vegetariana with fries, and a pizza margherita with pineapple. The flavour was very nice. It's not just tomato sauce and cheese, but they use specific herbs for each pizza. Even the dough has lots of flavour. The pizzas are quite large too.

The seafood pizza is highly reccomended! The owner and the waitress were very friendly!

Pizza was really good and lots of different options. Price was good and the cocktails were also very good. Highly recommended and will be back in the future. A suggestion is to offer vegan alternatives and options too

Such a nice authentic and cosy restaurant. You can tell it is owner managed and everyone are extremely friendly with great service. The pizza and pasta is amazing, we kept going back every day or two for the duration of our stay in Mauritius. You can get cheaper pizza on the island but not more delicious. As always, you get what you pay for. Their food is amazing and the family size pizza does make for good value for money.

A very nice pizza, pasta restaurant. We really liked our very tasty thin crust pizza.....all nicely dressed with the toppings. Our server, and the other staff were, excellent, very friendly and looked after us well. So what is wrong? The price of the drinks has put us off going back. Can it be correct that a large draft Phoenix is R320? A vodka and tonic over R400,? !! Today, on the waterfront in Le Caudan I paid R210 for the same beer. How come?? The vodka and tonic in The Suffren was R400. I do think you need to look at your prices for drinks as they add up very quickly to make a reasonably priced pizza very expensive. Only for this it is a 5 star.

The place got a nice make over, same culture, great pizza, make sure to come on an empty stomach as the family pizza is B.I.G. complementary rhum arranger after the meal 🔥. friendly owner & staff. very fast service. We tried the fruit de mer family pizza and the anti pasto platter. keep up the good work guys👍

It is a really nice pizza place, very friendly staff and it seems to be run by the family businness. We really enjoyed it, nice music. They did not speak much English but we managed :-)

Nice authentic Italian restaurant providing pastas and pizza. Good staff, indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking shared with the supermarket, wheel chair friendly. To be honest the quality drop since covid and no tourist. The Marlon pizza was tasty with crispy crust and genuine cheese. Price was good

A bit pricey, tastes good, the children enjoyed its thin crust. We had a family size half seafood half creole (chicken pineapple). The toppings are quite minimal considering the price we paid for the pizza and i am not particularly fan of thick outtee crust with no topping.

We come to La Voglia Matta since 2017. Yesterday, after a three-year break and moving outside Mauritius, we returned. It’s still as good as before. Some reviews state quality declined over time, which we disagree with. The Pizzeria’s master is still very active, performing his craft in front of the ovens. The skill can be felt in every bite. Our favorite pizza is Tartufata. Simply delicious. Staff is friendly and ample parking possibilities are available.

Biggest monster pizza u can have in mauritius .Good and the fruit des mer pizza was delicious. As from 1st May 2023 there will happy hours every Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.

Pizza bases were great but the service was careless. Despite us asking three times to not do so, the waiting staff combined our seafood dish with our non seafood dish. One member of our group has a mild allergy so it made the food unavailable to her. Be careful here if you have food restrictions.
