Unfortunately I cannot recommend Corail helicopter tours based on my particular experience. They are very easy and professional to communicate with pre flight, I will give them that. But the actual flight was very disappointing. Like everyone else who goes up, I wanted to see the typical view of the underwater waterfall with le morne mountain in the back ground. I was positioned on the right hand side of the heli, all seats are worked out according to weight ratio so there was no choice about it. However the view from the right hand side meant I did not see the mountain in the back ground, just the waterfall from behind as we were leaving. Whereas people on the left and up front had this iconic view. When I raised this with staff I was told several things, "the flight was too short for the pilot to circle round to give me the same view as the others had", "i should have asked the pilot to let me see it." I was not told that it was possible to ask the pilot anything, I assumed they were on a strict flying itinerary and I also would never have imagined that they would not give all passengers the same view. The heli windows do not open so the pictures you do get generally have reflection of your hands or your top in them. The air con was not turned on by the pilot until well into the flight so we were sweating in the back and this was steaming up the windows restricting our view. So my verdict is, if you dont want to gamble with the positioning, the reflection, and the view don't chose Corail.

It was great experience shown the most attractive area in Mauritius island with interesting history and information. Helicopter 🚁 is clean and very organised tour and staff. Highly recommended and well worth to try it.

Had my premiere with the 25 minute flight and was absolutely thrilled. The credit card details and weight were requested in advance. I communicated via email for the booking without any complications. In my opinion, Corail is a reputable company. Unfortunately you were only allowed to take a camera or cell phone with you. We had a very friendly pilot who explained everything to us. And he actually flew at the highlights from all sides so that everyone could take good photos. We felt safe at all times and enjoyed this breathtaking sightseeing flight. I can recommend Corail Helicopters, don't think about the money, just enjoy this unique adventure.

Really enjoyed our 45 minute helicopter ride to the underwater waterfall. We got a private helicopter tour as there were 3 of us, but there wasn't much availability for a 4 seater helicopter, despite booking a few weeks beforehand so book early! The pilot pointed out all the sights to us and turned the helicopter to make sure everyone was able to see everything. Very efficient flight, we were not waiting long at all to board the helicopter.

We had a great experience with Corail. The trip was awesome and we really enjoyed Mauritius from the sky. I can well imagine that a 40-minute flight over the beautiful island of Mauritius can be a great experience. But because of my seat, it was most likely chosen for the helicopter's center of gravity so that the heaviest people sat in the back. Since I wasn't one of them at 72 kilos, I was still placed in the middle back right between two strangers weighing over 100 kilos, instead of next to my daughter. At the beginning I tried to see something or take photos, which unfortunately wasn't possible because I always had the two phones of the people sitting next to me in my face and couldn't move otherwise. My daughter was allowed to sit at the front right, which gave me later the opportunity to experience the flight visually from the camera. Conclusion, it's only great if you can see something. I booked this helicopter tour as a surprise for my husband and he thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. This is the best way to explore Mauritius and it’s iconic locations including the underwater waterfall. Worth all the penny spent. Pilot of the day, James (sorry if name is not right) gave instructions and explained all the locations we were seeing from above. Ground staff were friendly and gave us enough time to take pictures. The pilots were really informative and all the staff v friendly. You do need to be prepared to reschedule due to weather, but Chesna was super helpful in keeping us informed and finding us an extra slot at short notice. Thanks, would definitely do it again!!

It was a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough about how much it worth it to take the helicopter tour. Simply beautiful.

Whilst in Mauritius we decided to book a helicopter tour of the underwater waterfall and so pleased we did! The pilot was great and gave us a full tour. He explained everything we saw and you could tell he loved doing this! We did have a bit of trouble prior to the tour as when we booked we initially booked for a shared tour and advised we were 2 adults and a baby. Corail emailed asking for our weights and when we advised we gave them the 2 adult weights. When we arrived to fly, the other couple had under declared their weight and we had omitted the baby weight so our flight was cancelled. We were told we could wait around a couple more hours and rebook as a private flight at the end of the day so we did, but after 2 hours we were told that due to weather we cant now fly. We were flying home the next day so it was pretty upsetting, Corail ended up opening another slot for us early in the morning so we could do the flight still! We were ever so grateful and so pleased as the next day when we flew was clear skies and the perfect last couple of hours to the holiday before we flew home :) Would highly recommend! But make sure you have accurate weights and include baby in arms as a third weight if needed to avoid issues :)

Absolutely brilliant experience. The pilot was great providing lots of interesting facts and pointing key sights out as we flew. We did this early in our visit and it helped us to decide where else to visit. The view of the underwater waterfall was just amazing.

We have been waiting for this adventure since we've had booked our Mauritius trip and left very very disapointed!!! The company should have reserved some extra hours a day for customers, who's flights were cancelled. The conditions changing very rapidly and after one hour since our cancellations we could see helicopters already flying... but was no chance for us!!! The company should have some extra hours a day available for canceled fligts!!! They should say, for example, come after 1 or 2 hours to complete your flight. But nobody cares there, since they get very good incomes from such expensive adventure and is alvays fully booked and nobody cares about dissapointed customers. Since it is canceled, next possible flight may be available in one week, maybe later, so you may not have a chance to do it at all! Better we should booked a seaplane flight from the south with LagoonFlight company, less expensive, only 150 euro, who flights more stable, without such cancellations, but we founded out this information too late as it was time to go back home...

We were given the alternative option of going for a shorter tour of the north, but as 4 people are needed and only two of us wanted to do it, it wasn't an option.
