I have done the initiation (6m + 12m) and it has gone great! I managed to fulfill my dream, to see a LION FISH!!! The staff is very professional and fun, they explain well and are patient with you. They take care that everything is correct and they helped me with my difficulties to decompensate the pressure in my ears. Thanks to them my trip to Mauritius has been 11/10, because without seeing the marine fauna, this trip would not have been the same. I saw a turtle, many scorpion fish, trumpet fish, many moray eels, many fish taken from the Nemo movie and especially the lion fish, a fish that I wanted to see since I was little and thanks to them I have been able to fulfill this dream. Thanks to all the staff (Vimla, Paul, Anaïs, Romano, Shane and Jeff the BOSS!) Highly recommended!!!

Excellent Team and services. Initially, I had some concerns about Sunset Diving related to my forthcoming trip to Mauritius, but after speaking with their cherished team members, Greg & Lindsay, I must say that this organization is a wonderful gem in offering fantastic diving experiences for both first-time divers and pros. Sunset Diving Mauritius has very high standards when it comes to safety and equipment, and they will do everything with the utmost honor and honesty to meet their client`s demands above and beyond.☺️☺️

Loved it! Had a blast. Very good equipment and nice divemasters. The skipper is the funniest though. Definitely a place to go.

Very underwhelming dive sites. I had emailed in advance explaining I had 100+ dives and was hoping to dive Whale Rock; I was told to arrive at 8:15. Unfortunately when I arrived, I was told that the group of 9 of us, including a first time ‘try diver’, would be diving the same site (although try-diver did it separately and to be fair, safely). I asked about Nitrox, which Sunset divers have on the website, and was told “no” (despite there being several filled Nitrox bottles there, which apparently were filled over a month ago and couldn’t be used). I will say that the safety standards are fine here, and the value-for-money is reasonable. The senior instructor seemed very competent. Three of the other dive masters, had that kinda matcho cocky demeanour that some (particularly male) instructors develop after a few years in the trade (perhaps being in a constant position of “expert”, isn’t great for the ego?), Anyway, whatever the cause, it translates to a sort of condescending jock demeanour. This is clearly very popular centre, and I hope they up their game, but until then, I would recommend shopping around- perhaps to some of the smaller independent dive centres.

Thanks a lot Anais and the team for both professional and charming first-dive trip. Instructions were clear and we practiced during first 7m dive. Then 12m dive was really amazing. Not only that you learn but also explore amazingly beautiful bottom areas with lots of fish and other creatures. It was simply magical.

I spent 3 days diving with them and I wish it could have been 3 weeks! Super professional staff and very safety oriented but it still feels like diving with friends you’ve dove with for years.

My wife and I visited Mauritius for a week. We went scuba diving on three days with Lindsay and Shane at six different spots. The entire team at Sunset diving were brilliant. They were extremely pleasant and very helpful. We will not hesitate to join them next time we visit Mauritius and we recommend them very very highly!

All the staff are friendly helpful & professional. Lindsay is exceptional. We liked him so much we chose to drive back from the South for my partner to upgrade from Scuba to Open water. I have my PADI advanced & have dived in several different countries over the years - we can honestly say this is the best school we've dived with. Some great sites & beautiful marine life.

As a first-time diver I felt a little nervous about the experience, but I found our instructor to be ideal (Maurice I think) . We went through some safety instructions in a small pool and then got on a boat and did two dives. Our instructor was relaxed, friendly and professional. It really is just what you need when doing something a little challenging for the first time. Every step of the way he made sure that we were safe and enjoying the experience. We saw some Lionfish, ray and a sea turtle. All good stuff. The equipment was excellent and no one had any issues.

Can highly recommend the diving center. We had a small problem with the boat's engine, but nothing dramatic. The catamaran tour was great. The equipment is in good shape and everyone is in a good mood. Diving was really fun and there was a good variety of dive sites. Prices are great, especially for the 10 Dives package.

A team of very professional instructors who know how to put you at ease thanks to their explanation and their humor. Very safe and well maintained equipment. An amazing diving environment even if it was just a first try, looking forward to doing it again with my sons because they are also reassuring for the children. Many thanks to you, the team.

Very professional and attentive team for the baptism of my 12 year old son on his birthday. Paul, his instructor, was particularly attentive. We were able to dive together on his second natural dive. Very beautiful moments!! Without forgetting Jean-Noel, Romero and the Captain of the boat who made us have a perfect birthday morning. A big thank you to the whole team.

Wonderful experience! We did the open water course and it has been amazing the center is well organised and everyone is very kind. Our instructor Shane followed us from begin to end and made us feel comfortable already from the begin! Highly suggested!

Very nice diving with these guys! Dropped my gopro to the bottom of the sea while in surface and they went back and found it! Super nice! Recommended highly!

Very very disappointed Block 200 bars normal then we leave after 8 minutes the supervisor cannot find the site So we go back up and go back to find the site finally with 150 bars??? First time this has happened to me after 40 years of diving at a very good level. On the site at 14 m depth nothing to see a leaf fish two/three fish Piles of stones average view but nothing to say because not their fault Diving price 50€ To flee

I did my first SCUBA training with instructor Shane. In a word he was brilliant. He is extremely knowledgeable very professional. He explains everything clearly. He is very patient and is willing to go through things again as many times as it takes. He smart intelligent and puts you at ease. You would struggle to find a better person to instruct you in this discipline. I cannot recommend him and the team at Sunset Diving highly enough. Five Stars!!!

We are a Korean couple who visited the diving center. It was a wonderful experience. Sunset Diving gave us unforgettable memories from our trip to Mauritius. Jean led us calmly, professionally, and Jeff was pleasant and made us comfortable. Although my camera was flooded in the water and I couldn't take more pictures I think the beautiful landscapes and creatures we saw in the water are well worth a visit to Mauritius again just for diving.

Great experience for a first dive, I was able to do two dives in the morning. I arrived at the last minute and they were kind enough to add me to the group. The instructor Jeff was super friendly, educational and funny!

I completed the SSI Open Water Certification with Annais. Annais especially – and the company generally – were exceedingly professional and hospitable. The course included six training dives, with the second half of each given to exploring one of Grand Bay's beautiful reefs. We saw green turtles, moray eels, baby seahorses, stone fish – among dozens of other species. All staff speak excellent English.

Sunset Diving exceeded all expectations, with Jeff as the standout dive leader. Highly recommended.

We were diving with Sunset diving for 4 days during our stay in Mauritius. We decided to go there , because of their prices and their professional appearance. You went diving at one location on two dive sites on one day . For example Trou aux biches, Grand Baie or Coin de Mire. We loved the crew. They are so nice people to dive with and to talk to while the surfaces interval. We were sad , when we had to leave the diving Center at our last day of diving . I did my research before booking, and I totally got it right. Flawless... the "check-in" process was well oiled, they pretty much got everyone's sizes right on first attempt and got everyone on the "boat" in no time, without ever feeling rushed. The gear was amazing spec, all in impeccable condition. A very good briefing was given. And the diving guide/instructor was everything I could have asked for. ---- A BIG shout out to Lindsay (the instructor/guide), you were an absolute star and I learnt a lot with you. We had a great experience at Sunset Diving. Jeff was amazing, it was our first time diving and he took all the time we needed to understand the different things by explaining it all in a clear way and always with a smile.
