Absolutely incredible! These pizzas are very different to your normal Pizza Hut or Domino’s. Honestly once you eat this, you’ll never want to have standard pizza again! We went for the Gourmet La Marinata, which was made of a different type of flour, I’m guessing wheat and the dough was so airy! The top with burrata cheese and prawns was perfectly balanced with some chilli olive oil and their special crushed chilli paste. Not to mention the owner who is such a sweet guy and tried his best to speak English to us and always ensured that we were happy and satisfied! Price is a bit steep, but so far this has been a unique pizza experience in Mauritius and won’t hesitate to go again!

IMO It is the best pizza in the north! Very authentic. The staff is very friendly and you get your food very quickly. The pizza dough is very crispy! They use high-quality ingredients so the price may be expensive but it taste very good . You also do take away.

The pizzas are amazing! Very warm welcome and always served with a smile. The pizzas' crunchiness makes you crave more. You should all eat there, you will not regret spending your money!

Excellent Italian pizzas. Not the one you will get everywhere.

I had the occasion to try the restaurant at Troux aux Biches and Triolet. I love their pizzas and other seafood dishes. Their food are well prepared and high quality. Parking and dine in restaurants are available. The set up and atmosphere at night are the best specially the one at Trou Aux Biches. I would highly recommend everyone to go to taste their pizzas. However the price is very pricy, specially the softdrinks, ice tea water and cocktail. I find it a bit disappointed that the price is too high which discouraged me to go again. I hope they revised the price. For two people; 1 plate fish and chip, 1 pizza, 2 cocktail, 1 bottle of water were almost R3500.

So far the best pizza I've had in Mauritius. Highly recommended. Value for money. I would say same for its lasagna (picture). The tiramisu is just amazing!

It's a very cozy place with a very friendly owner and staff. Visited on a Sunday with family and really enjoyed our lunch. Pizza and tiramisu was just so yummy. It's a place that you would love to go again.

Literally the best pizza of the island. The base is fluffy and slowly prepared (i recommend the wild rice flour base). The vegetarian options are rich and flavorful. The staff is passionate and very friendly. 100% recommend the place !

Went to your pizzeria at Bagatelle. It was the WORST pizza ever... there was no origano in my pizza. The old man acting as pizzaiolo simply forgot it. No taste at all. Precooked pizza base, 5 slices of salami, 8 bits of black olive, chinese canned mushrooms cut in pieces, small amount of cheese. All this for MUR 550. Really bad service. I would have preferred spending my money at Panarotti's !

Quite disappointed. I used to love it there but the quality of the food and service has gone down tremendously. They served us burnt pizzas - black at the edges and at the bottom. They even cut off part of the crust in one pizza, presumably because it was so burnt. When we informed the owner that the pizzas were burnt (and hence bitter), he brushed it off as normal/unavoidable. Even if their food can be really good sometimes, I don't think I want to risk eating burnt food again.

We visited La Golosona twice. Once without reservation in the late evening and they did everything they could to accommodate us. Our first visit was rather lengthy as they were short staffed, but the food was great. The owner, Andrea explained everything, told us his story and struggles he has to overcome daily. Our interaction made us want to come again and try their pizzas. As we came very late the first time, they already ran out of pizza dough. For our second visit the following day we made a reservation in advance. As we wanted to come for pizza specifically, Andrea asked me how many pizza doughs he should reserve for us, which was really thoughtful. Our second visit was great, the pizzas were delicious and service was really quick and attentive. What a delight! I had the classic - the Margherita which always shows you whether they know what they’re doing. In La Golosona they certainly do - it was superb. Few things to be aware of: - Lasagna portion is huge (600g) and it is easily enough for two. - Better make reservation in advance. - The food is delicious!
