The best pizza i had so far in the north of the island. The home made gnocchi was delicious as well. Andrea is very welcoming and a great host. We will come back to try more!

The cake of the day prepared by Maila is the highlight of my evening. My wife, sister and me loved the dinner spent here. Thumbs up. excellent quality pizza!!! The restaurant has a very good location and most importantly it is the first place where I found REAL Italian food. Andrea, the head of the restaurant, also very kind in offering advice about the island, always with a smile. I will definitely come back and recommend my friends to stop by there!

Great Italian restaurant with a very friendly Chef, who takes personally care of all his guest. Very attentive service staff. Great food at reasonable prices. Ask the chef for his wine recommendations as the best wines are not on the list. We will certainly go there again! Thanks Andrea for your great food and service :-)

Everywhere we go, my husband and I seek out the best pizza - La Golosona is undoubtedly the best on the island. We loved it so much we went back three times during our 10 day stay in Mauritius. Every time we ordered different pizzas and calzones and were happy with all the quality toppings (imported directly from Italy), but nothing beats the classic margherita. It is just perfect. The crust has just the right char and crunch, the tomato sauce is perfectly sweet and balanced, and the gooey cheese with a little olive oil on top brings it home. On top of the great food, the owner and the whole staff our kind, friendly and provide terrific service. We’re so happy we found La Golosona.

Great Italian-owned restaurant. Been there for lunch. Fish was fresh caught and served with homemade fries. Had homemade ice cream for dessert that was super creamy and delicious. What I assume to be the owner served us and made sure everybody was well taken care of. He takes a lot of pride in his food which really shows in the good quality.

Excellent pizza and pasta. Andrea and Mila made you feel welcome and truly enjoy running this family restaurant. Pizzas were very tasty, and pasta was also made by the chef from scratch. And the calzone was gigantic! We all had an excellent meal. A true taste of Italy.

Highly highly recommend this little gem. The young couple and the waiter are an amazing team. The food is just spectacular. The best gnocchi on earth, the best pizza, freshly made with attention to flavour, light fluffy and thin all together! A must try!!!

Real italian pizza in Trou Aux Biches. We are italian and we heard about this guy and his pizzeria so we decided to have a try. Well, Andrea, the owner, was great and kind, and his pizza was amazing. Better than most of pizzas we had in Italy. There are also other kind of italian dishes that looked good. You should definitively try it! Don't regret it.

The food is delicious. We had pasta amatriciana, tagliata, and tuna. All were good. The fries are nice flat slices of potato.(would be nice to have some sause to it though) The chef is Italian and very positive person, he enjoys what he does, he is great and very welcoming! Super service. Some waiters though are a bit strange.

Top ratings. Pizza's are the best on the island, and infact one of the best I've tried world wide. Run by a lovely Italian couple, very hospitable and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit.

Our favourite Restaurant during our three week stay. The food is so extremely delicious and the location is warming like the personal. I would recommend everyone to give this restaurant a try and i will guarantee you, you will fall in love. For starters i would recommend the tuna bruschetta, prosciutto bruschetta and the eggplant with parmigiano but i am pretty sure that everything on the menu is just perfect.

So looking forward to come again to taste your other proposed menu. Best experience ever. When i was there, Andrea was behind tje counter with a huge smile then i saw him serving, going from table to table greeting the clients then it started to rain and he was the first one to help moving the tables and chairs under the shelter. The real deal from Italy! Wonderful Italian food, reasonably priced, and very friendly staff. The owner is from Rome, so this place will be the closest you can get to real Italian cuisine on the island of Mauritius. I recommend the Fettuccine all'Amatriciana and the Tiramisu

Loved this place. We visited 3 times during our stay and it was so good. Pizzas are amazing and the lasagna was delicious. Really lovely staff and overall was fab. Couldn’t recommend it more

I did not know this place. I was invited by a friend who knows my love for Italian food! The set up lacks a bit of intimacy but is nice anyway with a big open space and a view on the pizza oven. I kicked in with a Aperol Spritz and checked the menu. I admit I was tempted by a lot of dishes! Finally I settled for the gnocchi with fresh tomato, a pistachio pesto and bacon bits. Delicious! I tasted the pizza as well as the tuna with balsamic and roquette and everything was amazing! The staff was smiling, friendly and helpful. All good! Will go back.

I strongly recommend Golosana for its pizzas - the base and dough is awesome, pasta was amazing and we had a delicious Parmigiana with eggplant. An absolute must visit if you are in Trou Aux Biches

Best Italian restaurant in Mauritius. The owner and the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the pizza and wine are on a different level. Highly recommended. The Tartufata pizza is by far the best pizza I ever had.

This is probably the only real Italian Restaurant in Trou aux Biches. It opened just a few months ago. We ordered some pizza and it was delicious! We can highly recommend this place and are going to visit again soon. Dont waste your time looking for an Italian Restaurant, I found it for you.

Exceptional pizza, and pasta - we visited 3 times. Owner is a welcoming host too, so service was great. Either come early or book ahead as it gets extremely busy which is surprising given the location.
