A must-visit in Trenčín. Great location right under the castle. The restaurant/pub is spacious, but the authentic historical decorations and a big fireplace make it feel very cozy. The food is tasty, the service was always top notch, but the best part is definitely the local brewed beer. These guys know what they are doing and each new beer they brew is even better than the last one. Seriously, one of the tastiest craft beers I have ever had!

NO JOKES!!! I am kind of beer culture fanatic but maaan, this is another level. The beer portfolio is compact yet so colorful and various. Beside the big offer, the beers are not even close to average. No regret to taste any. BUT!!! We had also recommended ribs marinated in Lanius black porter. I swear I have never had so tender ribs. Even better than done by myself. I give 10 out of 5 stars. Lanius, stay strong and embrace next generations :)

So good we went twice.... Walked on this cute place with a roaring fire and thought it was a great place to have a drink - it was at that point we found out it was a Microbrewery. I am not so much into beer, but I felt rude not to try! The servers were especially helpful and i opted for the Hazy APA which was one of the tastiest beers I have ever had! We decided to stay for lunch and the two of us shared a traditional pickled camember - which was surprisingly delicious! And then we opted for the tenderloin steak M.R. with Grilled veges! It was such a beautiful texture and a truely flavoursome cut! The vegetables were perfectly grilled and a great portion!! It was that tasty I cleaned the natural gravy from the plate with some bread. Later in the trip we returned due to having such a great experience here - this time I opted for the ceaser salad (without chicken) and it was just perfect! Large portion, crisp salad, perfect croutons and lashings of fresh shaved parmasan! And of course I stuck to my new favourite beer! Highly recommended!!! Da'quiem guys!!!

I loved it. Staff had veryslight trouble communicating in English but that is to be expected and not a real problem. The prices were very fair and I would recommend the roasted ribs.

Quite large restaurant and craft beer brewery right in the middle of the main square under the Trenčín Castle. A really good option if you want to try local beers and eat some Slovak food. Their ribs were actually really good and beers also quite tasty. However - the service, although really nice and kind, forgot to bring ordered espresso 3 times, despite being politely reminded of it again and again. They did apologise, but I'd loved to have the coffee before the meal, not 20 minutes after. Still, this place deserves a visit.

If you are in to craft beer, this is the place. Easily the best beer in Trenčin, they got also variety of IPA's and ale's and all super fresh locally made. Good food and very friendly service, recommend.

Very nice restaurant in a city center being a local craft brewery at the same time which is a big plus in case you don't wanna drink terrible euro beers. The staff might look a bit neutral at first sight but don't get fooled and disregard any bad reviews here, I have a very specific dietary requirements (and they could have sent me to hell straight away since the restaurant was almost full) and they were very helpful instead and prepared even more than I've asked for. The food was very tasty and if it was prepared in a bad way I would feel bad later, which didn't happen. It's a shame there is not more places like this.

Food took very long (more than an hour) and was ok, nothing special. Fries were already cold. Might be that's just cause it was a very busy Saturday but all in all it was ok. We were a group of 16 as well and they warned us that the food would take its time.

Get the 8 mile tasting crate here, it's perfect. Also any IPA here is just sooo good.

The so-called veggie burger was a slab of tasteless melted cheese on a soggy bun with a ton of greasy onions. The fries were good, but they charged extra when we asked for ketchup. It looks like it’s probably a great beer place, but if you’re after vegetarian food, I’d suggest the vegan cafe on the other side of the street.

Lovely town to visit if you're driving through. We had a very relaxed lunch here sitting outside. Everybody was friendly and we had some good food and beer. I recommend getting the beer flight to taste the variety of things they're working on. Definitely try the picked blue cheese. We also really liked the roast duck leg and the roast pork. The cole slaw was also nice.

They hire incompetent temp workers who have no clue what serving a customer is. They have absolutely no idea how to organize their work, so you end up waiting and waiting and waiting, being totally ignored and then you go inside, place your order, yet they don't have most of the stuff they claim on the menu and then they bring you the wrong order THREE TIMES.

Lanius Pivovar got it right, what else can I say?! Great beer great food. Having said that, there are an awful lot of stairs to negotiate when exiting the building after having consumed a skinful!

A great pivovar! Really nice relaxing atmosphere and a great selection of beers. You can order a taster of all 8 of their beers and the prices are really reasonable. We didn't eat, but their menu looked good and we could other people enjoying their meal.

The waiters were really good that is the main positive. The food was cold or the buns were hard so inedible. It took ages for the food to arrive.

+ Great, many draft home made craft beers for all tastes. Food is good also but someone can get a bit better from other restaurants in town. Heaven for beer lovers. Free WI-FI. - /

I do recommend this place if you're looking to have a nice dinner. The staff was really friendly and polite. The food was delicious and the beer variety was up to the task. I've asked the waitress to surprise me 4 different beers a'd she delivered.

Great historic place, must see the inside of this restaurant bar! Fire places are an added bonus. They have several selection of craft beer, I recommend you try out the 8 miles beer tasting for 7€, you get to try all. There is also a variety of dishes you can try for local dining.

Beer tasting plate was fun with great beer, local food selection is suberb-we choose to take local sheep cheese and greaves starter and ribs as main course - and we definitely advise for everyone else to do the same - excellent quality, local flavpour and on a more favourable price than for example a hamburger. Absolutely loved it!!!!

If I could give this brewery more than 5 stars I would. It genuinely is THAT good! For a beer lover there is a tempting selection of interesting beers to try. Yes I did taste them all. No it was not on one night...went back every night as this place is hard to beat. Ate here one night. Wide range of dishes available. Service is good. Outdoor, corridor and room seats and tables available. Best part is the prices. A large beer for €2! Very highly recommended
