This hotel was everything I'd hoped for and so much more!!! The location is tremendous, with spectacular views and within walking distance of several bars, restaurants and attractions in Tromsø. The staff were super friendly and very helpful!!! The breakfast that was included in the price of the hotel is hands down the best inclusive breakfast I've ever seen and tasted!!! This hotel is highly recommended!!!

Lovely modern hotel. Sadly, the 11th floor sky bar was closed during our visit. The rooms are very well equipped but you can't reduce the temperature below 19°C - which is a shame if you like to sleep in a cold environment. Our bathroom had a superb walk-in shower and lots of quality soaps and shower gels (no bath). Lots of power sockets everywhere in the room. Breakfast was plentiful and caters to all tastes, although it can get very busy from 9:00am onwards. The bar makes a very good G&T! The room had a well-stocked minibar with beer, wine and snacks. There are free tea and coffee facilities in the lobby area. Also in the lobby is an automatic taxi ordering machine, which brings you a taxi in just a couple of minutes - really useful if you want to skip the airport bus. The hotel's location is pretty good, being on the harbour front where the cruise ships dock. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafés are within 10 minutes walk. Our room had a view of the harbour, Tromsø bridge and the mountain / cable car.

Had a beautiful room on the 10th floor with a great view. Spacious bathroom with a wide counter top and big mirror. The breakfast is included and filled with all sorts of different delicious plates and foods. Everyone should find something they like. Cozy zones to relax in on the ground floor.

Travelled from London to Tromsø on Holiday. The Hotel was exceptional. The facilities and location are idealistic with access to so many tourist points. The staff are wonderful. Every staff member was friendly, approachable, kind and supportive. The Hotel is stunning and the rooms were phenomenal. I will definitely come back in the future. Thank you for making my first ever trip alone so memorable.

we stayed at the hotel for a total of 5 nights and we loved it! the location is unbeatable, it is in the center of town, all the tours start close by so you only have to walk a few meters outside the hotel. Our room was very spacious and modern with an incredible view of the mountains. The breakfast was very varied and delicious. I highly recommend it!

The room was very comfortable with exceptionally cozy beds and pillows. A great view of the water from the room too. The heated floors were an added bonus. Lots of room to move around in the bathroom with a nice big shower with good water pressure. The hotel is located in a very good location for all activities. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in northern Norway with amazing fresh breads! There is a wonderful bar located on the eleventh floor with amazing views. Nice lobby to relax in... We'll book this hotel in the future.

We had a great stay here. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Our room was comfortable (note that we booked in the middle class, as some of the rooms looked small. The breakfast was tasty and always well stocked. We enjoyed the coffee available all day and enjoyed relaxing in the lobby and watching the harbor with our coffee. The location is great and convenient to everything.

Stunning view with incredibly helpful staff. The room was good, but the shower setup was bizarre. However, we had no complaints. The breakfast was decent. What really sold this hotel for us, though, was the staff and location. I would certainly return next time we are in Tromso.

I recently stayed at Clarion Hotel The Edge and overall, I had a positive experience. One of the highlights was the delightful breakfast buffet, complete with a wide variety of options. It's always a bonus to have freshly cooked eggs, especially omelets made to order. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The lobby bar's late opening time at 3 PM was a bit inconvenient, especially since staff adhered strictly to this schedule, not serving drinks a minute earlier. Also, the ski bar, which seemed quite cozy, had limited operating hours, which meant we never got the chance to enjoy it during our stay. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel's location is ideal, offering a good chance of having a beautiful view of the water. In conclusion, despite some minor issues, Clarion Hotel The Edge provides a pleasant stay with its excellent location, clean rooms, and impressive breakfast.

We were anxious travelling 9000 km from india on how Tromsø would be , the Location accessible to the airport, staff & service was amazing , the breakfast spread was overwhelming with options , the rooms cozy n clean, and the view we got was amazing. Anna helped us with a quick room change once we informed her that we had a room heating issue. No fuss or questions asked. The hotel is centrally located. Highly recommend Clarion.

Beautiful modern hotel, family friendly, the rooms are neat, breakfast was amazing, and staff are very helpful when you need something. Will definitely stay here if we’re back to Tromso.

Had a couple of different rooms, which were generally nice, but not a highlight (odd layouts and lighting can create problems for couples) . Breakfast was GREAT. Oslo is a party town, apparently, and you can hear people up on the twelfth floor...from outside! I never heard another person inside the hotel.

We had an excellent stay at the Edge. Customer service and location are both excellent, the breakfast buffet is incredible and delicious, it’s clean and modern, and we had amazing views from the 12th floor. We would choose the Edge again!

The roo.s are well appointed and clean. The staff informed us on the status of room preparations, and the breakfast was bountiful and fresh. The Clarion Edge is a great place to stay in Tromsø.

Really lovely hotel and great service. People are nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The view yo the mountains and sea is very beautiful. Location is also great and quite central. The only reason I give it 4 stars is breakfast- it was mideocare at best. Scrambled eggs were floating like its a soup and bacon looked almost raw. No alternative to vegetarian omelet. Some of the warm food was cold.

The beds were small like most European beds, but so comfortable. Breakfast was included and amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We walked to many close by attractions and restaurants.

Right by the water and ferry terminal and about 1 block from the town center. Only issue is there is no parking. If you drive you have to use one of the paid city lots. Rooms are very simple but clean and nice. The restaurant and roof top bar are both Excellent.

This hotel is extremely conveniently located just across from the harbour, right next to a shopping centre and in the midst of loads of other shops. The bus we took from Narvik dropped us at the harbour, which meant we were at the hotel as we walked out. Similarly, the boat we take tonight is at the same harbour. The included breakfast is vast and delicious. The rooms are neat and clean. Showers are great with very hot water and good water pressure.

Friendly staff, perfectly located, modern and cozy. Only downside is the rooms are a bit small and from the window comes a very cold breeze. I suggest having the curtains always drawn. Also, impossible to turn off AC (choose between 18-24°C)

Room was fine and clean. Good value as you likely won't need to pay for food outside of the free meals provided during your stay. For the free dinner, the chef made vegan meals for us when we requested them in advance. They were delicious, healthy, and filling.

In the heart of Tromsø... Room is clean and decent bedroom and bathroom size. Like the Ritual toiletries... Service staff is helpful to provide us directions to some of the attractions. Only thing I find that the pillows are very flat... Would have done it better by providing us an option of different pillow types for better sleep. There isn't any heater in the room... Which I guess is centrally controlled. Location is conveniently next to the Pier.

Good location. Some rooms are very small but we had one on the edge overlooking the harbour and they are lovely and spacious although a little cold for us in March, we were given an extra fan heater. Breakfast is fantastic with a huge selection catering for all (although mushrooms were too salty for my taste). Friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful view 12th floor room, only hotel I stayed at in Norway that had a room thermostat. Comfortable bed, electric tea kettle. One star off for the weird corner shower with no curtain or barrier. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was great!

The rooms are a little small but I believe that's what to be expected in that country. They are not prepared to have any electrical conversion European to American. As a matter of fact That entire town is not prepared for it. Make sure you go there with your own conversion plugs or else you'll spend the rest of your time trying to recharge your cell phone. As far as service for the hotel it was so so. If you got anyone to leave the front desk you were lucky. Their breakfast buffet is a five star buffet. I made sure to be up on time every day just so I could have breakfast. Getting up over there is in the dark until 11:00 a.m. . Most people sleep in during the day there whatever they there is. We saw maybe 3 hours of daylight but never sunlight. All we saw was dawn and dusk which was something wild to see. The staff was not very helpful so go there prepared with your education already done.

Clarion Hotels is a quality level it self. The Edge is in the high end of these hotels. Every things works.

The best hotel in the very city centre with an awesome sea view. Friendly staff and a lovely roof top bar where you can see the northern lights while ordering a drink

Just had one of the cooks press the handicapped button so he could cancel my elevator, because he was in a hurry. When I noticed he just laughed out loud whole heartedly in my face. Never been so insulted at a hotel.

Very nice stay. Good view from top floor - bar. I was just a bit unlucky with view from room on big pipe. 3 elevators makes getting in and our of the room quick enough. Thank you.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Perfect place, new and fully furnished and comfort rooms, one of the best breakfast buffets, gym with everything one needs and great bar restaurant on the top.

If you are arriving or leaving on a cruise then this is your hotel. It’s directly across the street from the cruise ship terminal. The hotel is beautifully designed, modern, and the views from the corner suites are stunning. The staff is friendly and professional and the breakfast buffet just may be the most extensive and the best quality of any place we’ve stayed around the world.

Well… it is an expensive hotel so my expectations were higher then what the hotel delivered. The water pressure was terrible and I was only on the 5th floor, I can’t imagine people on the 12th floor, it’s 2022 this shouldn’t happen. The tissue box in the bathroom was empty, when I went downstairs I told them about it, they either forgot or chose to ignore me. Great breakfast, so at list their chefs know what they are doing.

Contemporary hotel, great location, friendly reception. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-equipped. Breakfast was alright, plenty of choices in a very nice restaurant. There is no gym in the hotel, guests can instead use Sky Fitness down the road.

The best hotel and restaurant in the area! Amazing service and the food is Michelin star level. The eye-watering prices are a minus but the buffet breakfast, the delicious food, the 10/10 cleanliness and unbeatable Customer service makes it all worth it. Highly recommended!

Stayed for three nights there and have zero regrets. Really well located, breakfast is fantastic and the staff are amazing. In the hotel you can book activities like whale watching and charing aurora with a company called "chasing lights" that I also recommend.

Terrific hotel. A prime location in Tromsø. Outstanding breakfast. Relaxed and happy staff, clean rooms.

Only cleaned room every other day, room service (which you had to order through QR code as no phone in room - and $10 just to have room service delivered to room) shut at 9.30pm and towels are tiny. Aircon doesn’t go very cold, window barely opened. Comfy mattress and big-ish room but average hotel overall.

👍👍 The northern light is right outside your doorstep, if the weather is good. Nice greeting from the reception staff. The wooden lodge have very good heating and very warm.
