👍👍 I had an awesome ski and sail experience on Vulkana last week. The Lyngen Alps are breathtaking in themselves. And enjoying the full spa of Vulkana after a day of alpine touring made them even better. The food was delicious (including the vegetarian version) and the bottle of champagne on the shore... We took the lunch cruise. Highly recommend if you want to have a slow day in Tromsø. Amenities on the boat include a sauna, steam room and a hottube. Additionally there are rooms to change and to shower. Our crew not only prepared the lunch but also did a sauna ritual with us. Food was a delicious fish soup. The price of unfortunately not cheap but probably what is to be expected in Norway.

Slightly difficult to find at first. Beautiful place! Memorable experience with excellent host and food options.

Absolutely amazing experience. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else. The boat is a complete experience in itself. Sauna, steam room, hot tub. Food is excellent just to top off the trip. The guides are fantastic. They don't just look after you but add to the whole experience. So knowledgeable as well. Swimming in the Arctic ocean is something that I will never forget...

This was my third time on Vulkana, and my expectations were quite high from my memories of the previous two trips. Despite that, I was not disappointed! I'm feeling incredibly relaxed after a fantastic 4 hour dinner cruise. The food was again impressive, the ship itself cozy and charming, and it certainly helped that I went with a great group of people. I wasn't planning on going in the ocean this time, but actually went in twice. I spent most of my time in the hot tub, but did also enjoy the steam bath (once) and the sauna (a few times). I highly recommend going either with a good group of friends or as a team building activity (why I was there). It isn't cheap, but I do think it's worth it - an unforgettable experience!

WARNING: High risk of getting reservations cancelled Booked the trip 5 months in advance. After all of us got our flight tickets the company cancelled the booking. Got an e-mail from a person I never spoke to, who told me the boat will be sent for maintenance and repair. This was 3 months in advance. I let them know my frustrations and asked for alternative options. They gave their apologies and came up with a gift card for rental in another city (not Tromsø). Nice, but highly unprofessional staff lacking the skill for planning. Probably just a small team who try their very best, but be aware of the risk for cancel. It seems to have happened not only with us.

Special setting for wellness. Smal but lovely guidet. For 2hrs a little bit to short. Evrything is clean.

This was such an amazing experience. The boat is a refurbished fishing boat with a number of sections including a Turkish bath, dry sauna, lounge area with wood heater, and a hot tub on the deck which runs at about 40 degrees. Coming from Western Australia, where it never gets cold, we were excited to sit in the hot tub with a drink with snow falling around us and our wishes were granted. Marie was an amazing host as well and even took video for us as we jumped into the sea. This is such a great attraction in Tromsø and one I'd happily repeat in the future. Make sure you book for two hours as one wouldn't be nearly enough.

Great experience for anyone looking to jump in the water. Facilities are clean and the service was impeccable. Thank you to David and Marie for making this a highlight of the trip!

👍 Had an amazing fish soup as an appetizer and fish and chips for main! The soup was really good, I am definitely taking that fish soup as my main course when I visit next time! They had a lot of steak options too, but I was definitely in for the best cod you can get part of Norway!

😐 Average pizza, very dry on the edges. Calzones had way too much cheese and not much flavour. The coke tasted like it’s been watered down. The place is spacious and don’t need to reserve in advance. Needed to wait nearly an hour for a pizza and a calzone, though the place was not even half full. It s...

👍👍 We had a booking for Saturday evening, and I'm glad we did as it was very busy. We got 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert and 2 cocktails for 1630NOK (£130). Everything was delicious, but the reindeer stake was one of the best things I've ever eaten. So much flavour! The restaurant is very cosy and the...
