Smaller room that i am used to in USA, but clean and big enough since I spent most of time in town. Great location to have all of city center walking distance.

I’m never a fan of leaving a negative review, I tried to stick to only sharing the positive and try my best to resolve the concerns but this place feels more like a hospital for the insane. Room wasn’t ready until after 3pm ruining our ability to prepare for an excursion. First room had broken bed tables, holes and unfinished repairs in the walls, and the quality of a $79 motel. Next room they tried to fix it with was a full hospital feel with handicap layout more broken furniture, dirt; broken hair dryer and the hallway outside smelled of human feces. We wanted to leave and checkout but it was midnight and couldn’t get an alternate. It was closer to torture to stay until early morning. Attempted to talk to the desk who only replied with “sorry my hands our tied”. They gave me the email to Manager which I’m pretty sure it was just a generic inbox and haven’t received a response for 48 hours. I guess we will dispute it on our credit card since we basically were tortured. We were charged $450 for one night when the going rate is $100 on every night I’m looking at now! Stay far away.

This hotel is basically a hostel. Arrived around 11 AM. Check in is supposed to be at three. We asked when the room will be ready and she said exactly 3 o’clock. I can’t let you check in earlier. So we waited walked around town and we had a friend that was very sick, who basically had to stay and wait at the hotel. At 2 o’clock I checked in again to see if we were able to get our room and she said, the room is ready but if I wanted to check in early, I had to pay an extra $20. Which just seemed odd but fine. Then we waited again until 3 o’clock. At which time she told us our other room was not ready and she wasn’t sure when it would be ready. Then she asked if we her to try to expedite the cleaning. To which point I said we’ve been here for four hours, you didn’t think that maybe it should’ve been at the top of the list? When we finally got our room around four, everything in the room was basically broken, the nightstands full out of the wall. They wouldn’t hold anything one was just completely missing. There were patch marks in the drywall, missing pieces of the window frame. The lady in the evening was really sweet, but there isn’t much you can do when you’re working with a dumpy hotel. She moved us into a different room which was slightly cleaner, but honestly not worth more than $79 a night. There are several other reputable hotels in the area, there’s no way I would ever recommend anyone stay at the hotel saga. The breakfast was disgusting. I am baffled that there are positive reviews about this place. The photos of the rooms and hotel are extremely misleading.

Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful where they could. However, the room card was still not working after changing a couple of times for several of us who were travelling in a group. The shower water ran cold halfway and would turn warm after several minutes, which is too long as it is freezing during winter.

Stayed here over NY23/24 for 5 nights after private accommodation cancelled. It was a single room so quite compact but had everything I needed. I was worried that I would be looking at courtyard view from a single room but the very nice guy who checked me in gave me a rooftop room with nice view over Tromso. All the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast staff particularly so, just lovely. Breakfast was a highlight, lots of very tasty choices. Perfect location but quiet. Could see early NY fireworks from my window. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great hotel. Nice, comfortabele en spacious rooms. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Bathroom was nice as well. Loved the heated floor. Huge breakfast buffet with lot of different options. During weekdays there is also an tasty dinner buffet which changes daily. The location could not been better. You walk right into the center of town and also all activities starting points are within a couple minute walking distance.

Excellent hotel in every way for our stay. Comfy bed. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The staff were excellent and the breakfast amazing, we really looked forward to coming downstairs for really great hot coffee. There is an excellent selection and nice space to enjoy a relaxed meal. The location is great for every tour from Tromso. Thank You!!

Huippu hotelli keskellä Tromssan kaupunkia. Huoneesta löytyy tv, jääkaappi, hiustenkuivain, silitysrauta ja - lauta. Palvelu sujuvaa, aamiaisella kattavasti vaihtoehtoja.

Great hotel perfectly located in the center of Tromsø. We were able to take pictures of the northern lights, aurora borealis out of the windows directly.

Rooms on the small side but worth the price as you will be in such a good location. Very clean inclusive of bathroom which had a heated floor! 24 hr front desk service; greeted by such lovely, friendly staff. Buffet breakfast selection is great, with plently of options including cereals, savory hot food, sweet hot food, savory cold food, salad, fruit, pastry, drinks, bread etc.

Person at the desk on the night on the 20th to 21st was extremely bad. Maybe get better personel at night other than that the hotel was not bad

You can't turn off a hallway lamp in your hotel room, unless you turn off all of the lamps in the room. So if you want to turn on lamp next to your bed before you go to sleep, you'll have to have the hallway lamp on, and it is bright as f***. There is also only one power plug in the room which works at night, so there is two of you, only one can charge their phone at night. There is very limited amount of parking spots so don't count on that you'll get one. There is so much things in hotel that just doesn't make sense. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone.

A decent hotel overall and the room had an okey standard, I could however not stream my phone on the tv, despite finding the TVs on other room mine was absent, and nothing was done to resolve this as far as I know, as a result the service and room rating is lower than I'd have liked to give.

Great location, buffet breakfast was good. the rooms are ok, but there is a bit of outside noise due to poor construction, which also shows on the flooring that is damaged. Luckily, there isn't much traffice so overall, it's ok. Wifi was terrible in our room, which we asked to be fixed, but the staff had no idea. A generally ok place to stay the location makes up for it.

The room was quite big for Tromso standards. Breakfast is also good. The one thing I’m giving it 4-stars is the attention. In general, attention in Norway is better than other places like Prague, but it’s still European-attention.

Great Pizza, rich selection of beers. Very crowded, therefore book a table in advance.

Excellent customer service. People at the reception were really nice to us and the breakfast was really great.

Room was good and so was breakfast. Restaurant was closed though so we had to look for another place in the rain. Hotel parking was a bit pricey and driving in and out isn't for the faint-hearted. Luckily there were available slots on the street and much cheaper too.

Room was very good, parking garage was a little tight and small. And price tag was a bit "hefty" but the actual hotel was good. Hotel room was affordable, with good service and nice clean room. Stayed there for three nights, would definitely go back. But maybe park the car somewhere else..

It's a nice Hotel with great view and friendly and welcoming staff. The beds were very soft but comfortable and cozy. Our room had a great view and was clean. We really enjoyed your stay. The only thing we didn't like were 50% of guests who do not adhere to any Covid-19 measures like wearing masks or keeping distance. The Staff made nothing about it.

Beautiful place, EXCELLENT position, in the center of the city, near the all meeting points for the trips, all the points of interest, with simple, modern and beautiful design. The room was beautiful, practical, with all you need, very clean. I appreciate that. The view of the room was magnific: the little square with the church.

👍👍 The northern light is right outside your doorstep, if the weather is good. Nice greeting from the reception staff. The wooden lodge have very good heating and very warm. It can be easily access by public transport from airport (Bus no. 20) and city centre + 7 mins walk. The breakfast and warm drinks...
