Amazing completely vegan cafe! It’s hard to find vegan food in Tromso so this was perfect. The place itself is very pretty too and in a good location. The staff are super sweet, definitely recommend. :)

Frø café is a great place to visit when visiting or staying in Tromsø. They have mostly vegan products with some vegetarian options. I really enjoyed the pancakes with berries and a good, strong americano coffee! I would definitely recommend to visit Frø café for breakfast, lunch or just to have a coffee and a chat with someone.

An open and bright cafe with good coffee and plenty of great vegan eats. This is my go-to place in Tromsø for a satisfying and quick bite!

I was there in march 2023. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed (one hour before closing) but i managed to buy some pastries they had 🤩 together with a cappuccino. Also friendly staff 🫶🏼The price wasn’t nothing crazy must I say. In total I used 104 NOK. Super recommended café! It’s in the main street and super cute place to make a stop🥰🥰 and also vegan options!! 💚💚💚💚

Such a cute place with lots of vegan food! The whole place is actually vegan, the service was really nice and the food was super delicious. Would love to come again and visit it, 100% recommend if you’re in the area and looking for yummy vegan food.

A • Great food spot with a relaxed airy atmosphere, the pancakes are so delightful that you forget that it's vegan. They make a unique pancake I think weekly and they always make you feel at home here. There aren't many places in Tromsø that serve breakfast type foods, so this place having pancakes and even avocado toast makes me feel great to know

The coffee was better than other coffee served in other places from Tromso. Their terrace was cold but cute.

Fantastic vegan cafe. Great atmosphere and friendly staff and the food is amazing! I have tried the Avocado Toast and the Pancakes with blueberries and vanilla sauce. Both were delicious. Can't wait to visit again!

Great vegan/veggie cafe. Had avocado toast for breakfast and it was delicious. Great coffee too. They also have a selection of wraps and food to take away. Friendly staff too. Worth a visit even if you are not a veggie.

Loved everything. Amazing iced coffee with vanilla. The only problem was variety. There was one option for pancake. I was hoping for some other toppings. But they have days specific toppings and only on Saturday there are multiple options.

I planned to visit here on a Saturday for the extended pancake menu, but I ended up going twice during the week as well. Both weekdays offered, in terms of pancakes, only blueberry pancakes. Which were wonderful. Great size, quantity, texture, and mouthfeel. The Saturday menu disappointed me: blueberry was offered yet again, with two other topping options both of which were cream based. They get busy on Saturdays (so reserve a table) and due to this the presentation isn't as immaculate. The pancake stack was served simply with the corresponding side sauce/compote. After trying a stack of the miso-caramel variation with pear and popcorn, I ordered another plate of blueberry with the chocolate sauce to spice things up. The servers were fully okay with this. And although my heart yearned for lakris or pistachio pancakes, I ended with a contented vibe. I did try a pistachio-cream pastry - it was not good. The espresso during the week was unremarkable. On the last visit I had a filter (batch brew) coffee and it was amazing. Never had such good filter coffee.

Go to place for vegan food in Tromsø. The pancakes are a must try! The hot chocolate and chai is also really good. I'd recommend the avocado toast.

This was by far my favorite place to eat in Tromsø! We visited at least three or four times during our one week stay. I wish they had more options on the food menu, but the items that they do carry are really good. We probably ate four or five of the cinnamon buns during our week in Tromsø, plus a cold sandwich and some other pastries. The coffee drinks were all delicious. And everything was vegan! Note that they do carry cow-secreted milk as a default, but they have several vegan milk options, and all of their food is vegan. We loved having an easy spot to grab something in the morning during our trip. The interior is also quite nice, with plenty of seating in a quiet, pleasant environment. The staff was very friendly and answered plenty of questions about their food, local recommendations, and various coffees they had for sale. We definitely brought a bag of coffee home with us! The staff was all multilingual, and were happy to speak to us in English when it was clear that my Norwegian was getting us nowhere (I only took Level 1 Norwegian, and they don't really cover the intricacies of veganism).

Visited twice. The first time I had the pancakes. There were 3 stacked about 100 mm diameter with fruit. Second time I had the pistachio cinnamon bun. Both were good as well as the latte I had both times. Be sure to specify type of milk if vegan as dairy is offered as well.
