    Take swimwear and a towel! How often do you get to say you’ve swam in the Barent Sea?! Who cares if it is not warm water. This was a gem of a find. There is also a volleyball net. Could only hope for some ice cream sales there too. Granted they don’t have a long season here..

    It was a windblown place.. You could look towards the sea leading to the North pole with no more land between you and there... You can see over to Russland from the Norwegian side of the about 3m wide river..

    The place in itself is about nature, but also acts as a reminder of the cold war, and is at the Northernmost point of the Russian-Norwegian border. Restrictions do still apply.

    A historical location next to the norwegian and russian border. Nice beach and great clear waters to swim in.

    Very pretty place! Road is very bumpy at some points but in the end views make it worth it!

    Absolutely amazing place! Good for overnight parking also and perfect beach for volleyball and swimming. Water is not very warm though 😄
