Really nice hotel with friendly staff & clean rooms. The breakfast is good - though it’s been super busy the whole week we spent there. The best time to get brekki would be from 7am to 8am. After that almost every table is taken. But it’s totally fine. Unfortunately, there’s no gym & that’s why 4 stars from us. But it’s only our preference. I’d still come back at any time. Overall everything was nice.

Really enjoyed staying here for the past five nights. Their breakfast is wonderful with a wide variety of food and excellent quality cappuccinos. Loved the view of the water from my room, and the little nook with a couch by the window. Helena at the front desk was especially helpful though I found all staff to be friendly and professional. Recommended!

Perfect hotel for a stay in Tromso! The location is unbeatable, walking distance to so everything, and the service is top notch. The breakfast is delicious, our room had a beautiful view of the harbor and was very clean. The bathroom is a bit small, hard to maneuver around without bumping into something but it gets the job done. They also have laundry by the kilo, which is extremely helpful.

We did order a suite, so the room was really nice with a big bedroom, living room and we had a bathtub, the view was also really good! We didn't try the restaurant but the breakfast was good, with a lot of variety and had a barista to make some warm drinks.

Hotel is in a superb location right on the waterfront and very close to the centre of town(4 min walk). Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is vast with loads of options with everything labelled for allergies. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay here in Tromso.

We had Superior rooms which all had views over the harbour. As the Sun had not made it's appearance on 21st or any of our 4 nights everything over the bay looked monochrome. Hotel was very comfortable and served a great range of products for Breakfast. No problems for vegans or vegetarians. Hotel very close to center and all the starting points for trips.

Spent two weeks there. Nice location, fine breakfast buffet. Dinner restaurant is all right. Good rooms. Friendly staff in reception, helpful about finding good spots in Tromsø. Great accomodation overall. For a quiet room I recommend the small boat yard side, the other side has big ship engines running 24/7 when there. Cleaning ladies a bit too noisy when cleaning other rooms in general. Other than that, good experience.

Best hotel we have been in Norway by far, nothing to complain. The hotel crew helped us a lot to find the best ways to explore the city and enjoy our honeymoon. Thank you guys, hope to be back at winter and see some whales

DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SLEEP. there was a wedding party that rented the ballroom till 2am that was literally shaking the building. when I called the front desk at MIDNIGHT to complain about the insane noise, they told me "I don't know what you want, they rented the room and their DJ till 2am"... absolutely unacceptable. we rented a hotel room, not a room at the dance club. ALSO, had an issue when we arrived with the porters leaving people's bags outside completely unattended. wouldn't recommend leaving your belongings in the hands of these people as they clearly do not care about their patrons. such a shame because other than the noise and pompous/careless/rude staff, the hotel itself was nice. I love when hotels provide little things like a fan in the room, carpet in the rooms, espresso machine in the cafe, etc. this hotel even had an HDMI IN for the TV, so you can plug in your own devices. I travel with a fire stick so I can watch my own stuff and usually have to pull the TV out and mess with all the cables but here I just plugged in my fire stick and good to go... I will add that the room could've been much cleaner though. soap scum in the shower, water spots on the mirror, fingerprints on the switches and glass, etc. I travel internationally a few months a year, and I understand that I'm fairly critical of certain things, but customer service is absolutely paramount and as such, i would never give this hotel my money again.

Best hotel in Norway, absolutely wonderful and gorgeous views, best hotel breakfast with a huge selection, a barista and a dedicated chef for making fresh pancakes and omelettes. They have a dinner restaurant too, and sometimes serve lunch. Housekeeping staff always smiling and greeting you in the hall and the friendliest and most helpful reception staff. Highly recommended! All tours depart from the hotel main entrance and located right in the city heart. AirPort Express bus also stops right in front of hotel. Modern and clean rooms. Well equipped and you can buy any toiletries you might have forgotten in the reception shop which is open 24/7. Would definitely come back again :))

Greedy and unhelpful! My cruise was canceled. These ppl don’t know how to hit a cancel button on the reservation. One has to wonder if everything else in that hotel is as customer oriented. Or, maybe one doesn’t have to wonder.

This hotel is cranking busy. Every time we got back from an outing all of the small lobby seating was full of tired travelers. It’s an awesome location right on the water and the view was legit. The bed was comfortable and good. It’s a solid 3 star hotel that is extremely busy.

Beautiful, modern and well-designed hotel + rooms. The location is perfect and the breakfast was fantastic (it is in our top3 breakfast). The staff at the reception could have been nicer to us/guests but other than that, only verybpositive experience overall. Hope we can come back here once.

Great location with beautiful views and friendly staff. It definitely added to the great experience of our trip. The breakfast was by far the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel. I would go just for the breakfast!

Couples trip, 4 nights. Nice location which was convenient to explore. Great views across the harbour/marina. Basic rooms but well maintained. Excellent free breakfast buffet included.

I had an amazing experience. My room was spacious with the most breathtaking view of the harbour. The breakfast was also great 👍

Don’t book at this hotel. They have 0 human empathy. We lost my mother in law in a sudden tragic accident and I was cancelling all my bookings some refundable some non refundable and this unfortunately was one of the non refundable ones and they weren’t willing to help me at all and had no empathy or sensitivity to the situation whatsoever so ever. There is more to life than making money people, I even provided them with a death certificate etc.

The shower is so small and the toilet is in the way of opening and closing it. Even the toilet door keeps slamming closed or hitting the locker that contains the bar fridge. Someone wasn’t thinking right with the design aspects of these for sure! Patisserie served at breakfast is top quality and perfect location.

This hotel shall be classified as 3 star maximum not 4. The only good thing about it is the view and location, the room is extremely small barely for 1 person, no single amenities, terrible bedding & sheets (stained and overused), dirty glasses when we arrived with lipstick stains, no phone in the room, and very late service delivery. I’d recommend staying at another hotel.

Excellent hotel some rooms have superb views of harbour. During our stay Nato Warship was docked merely 20 from our room. Complimentary hot tea and coffee is very much appreciated in cold days, another great offering is drinking water tap in the reception area. Breakfast is superb with huge selection of dishes. Staff is very helpful. Location is in the centre and most of public transport is within 100 M.

Stayed Thursday through to a Monday & eventhough there was a Wedding & an additional Social function on the same night (Sat) - they did not seem to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of this hotel. We had the family room - room was compact enough. We had the harbour view & I would have given the view 10/10 except the windows needed a good clean. Being situated right on a harbour I know it must be difficult with spray being thrown up on the windows but they have such a commanding view - it is one of the hotels finer points. Room safe did not work - did not seem to have batteries & if you needed to contact reception from your room - there was an 8 or 9 digit number to call. But it didn't work... All staff were pleasant & friendly. No shortage of food in the mornings for breakfast. A wide selection available for all tastes. We found that having a Barista present in the morning making your fresh coffee was a good touch. Overall a good stay....

I would have given this 2-stars but the breakfast was actually nice and the bed, once we got a room, was comfortable. Our overall experience was not smooth though, and the hotel overbooked even though we had prepaid. Their first solution was to put us on cots in a shared room, saying they only had one singles room left (there were two of us). We checked out the room and it was a full bed, which is big enough for two average sized adults, the only thing that made it a single room was that it has one pillow, one comforter, and (you guessed it) one towel. The room was under equipped and we had to continuously go down to the lobby for things as they apparently had no one else in the hotel working and they couldn’t leave the front desk. The bar was slllloooowwww, agonizingly so, even when we were the only guests ordering. 10 minutes to make two drinks. Anyway, beautiful location, decent aesthetic, but really poor on the service quality.

The building is well located and nicely designed; however, the room was not cleaned properly - lot of dust. The mattresses were not the best. The staff was very helpful and kind.

The perfect stay in nice sized room, great design with a long window bench, panoramic window view, and plenty of good chairs. Breakfast excellent. P.s. bright sunshine from a blue sky makes the Tromsø stay ...

Excellent hotel and service. Beds, cleaning and room was top quality. Extra points for kids ping pong table and excellent breakfast. Parking was full but we got free parking spot via reception. Location is very good for city trips.

We booked a Superior Room and we‘re happy with it. Had a nice view over the Tromsø Bridge and the Arctic Cathedral. The room had a decent size, was clean und nicely arranged. For breakfast there was plenty of food to choose from and it seemed like the products were of a good quality. Unfortunately, some of the hot food was already getting cold. Unfortunately, one thing was absolutely unacceptable. Both the check in as well as the check out have been so unfriendly and non-welcoming, it really made our stay worse. There was no warm greeting, no explanation of the hotel or the surroundings, not a single question about our journey or how we liked our stay. This was very disappointing, so -1 star.

Iconic quayside hotel at the city centre with magnificent harbour views and modern decor. The hotel restaurant Roast serves dinner buffet occasionally and is quite popular among locals. Decent breakfast, room was comfortable and shower pressure was great. The mattress and pillows could be better.

Very welcoming hotel right on the water's edge in Tromsø. Got upgraded to a superb room. Breakfast was delicious with good choices. And the hotel reception staff were friendly.

Never had such a bad experience. The info told us we couldn’t use the discount code coz it was the last room of the hotel and we need to order by ourselves online, then just pushed us away with a cold face, continue to tell price to the next customer, feeling like we had auction for one room. Can’t believe the Norway people would like that, had a really awful impression of this hotel and this city. First time and last time here. 👎🏻

Great location, clean and very good breakfast. Our room had a nice view on the sea and the mountain. We did not get any noise from the boats. The room was very small for 4 people - in fact, it was a 2-people room with two unfolded bunk beds. No room to move. The staff was not very welcoming for a hotel of this standing and you sometimes felt as if you were bothering them. Particularly at the breakfast barista where any requests for non dairy milk was often met with a frown and comments. Our 13y old daughter (who is allergic to dairy) even got given dairy milk instead of soy milk in her hot chocolate. We were also frowned upon for wearing our masks in the hotel / restaurant.

The stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the city center where most of the Tromso tours start, walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops, Tromso library, bus stop etc. The room was cozy and warm with heated flooring. The breakfast was also very good. There is coffee, tea and water always available at the lobby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel, beautifully situated, very specious and nicely decorated general areas. The rooms are good and if you have a room with an ocean view, the view is fantastic. The beds are a bit too soft for my personal liking, but not bad. The service at check-in was not warm and friendly at all for a hotel of this standard, but luckily you only check in once! The breakfast buffet is HUGE!!! There is so much to choose from that you might even experience some stress.

Rooms small. King sized room = basic double. King bed = 2 singles with 2 single toppers so huge gap in the middle. Bathroom small. Hotel tired looking in places....not impressed. Breakfast choices fine but dishes left on your table until you leave. Not cleared by staff...horrible experience....
