Extremely overpriced for what you are getting. Small and dated rooms. Radiator not working well and it is very cold inside the room. Consider we paid around 300 USD for one night, can not recommend this hotel.

The front desk person at first gave us one room on the second floor and one on the fourth floor. We were told it was not possible to get rooms together since the hotel was fully booked. We were lucky, my girlfriend and I went to the second floor room since we assumed that was the lower quality room and found a single room stuffed with two beds that were not even connected. No space even to open the suitcase. We ordered two double rooms so we went downstairs to complain and were “accommodated” with the room immediately across the hall from my parents’ room. That felt really slimy. On top of that breakfast wasn’t great. The second day we opted to just not use the breakfast. The heaters in the room weren’t enough. The beds were in my opinion decently nice. Not a great experience overall. I think that if the room was around $80/night it would be 4 or 5 stars but given we paid an egregious $220/night I think 2 stars is the right rating.

+ perfect location, very delicious breakfast - room make up was bad (bed was not done properly), staff was not really helpful or kind

Great location, front desk staff were polite and very helpful. The rooms are tiny, but the amenities were convenient.

Great value for money. Central location to shopping, tours/activities starting points. Nice breakfast buffet. Friendly reception staff.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The service was the best, especially from Sarah who put in the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Thank you 😊

We booked rooms last minute and booked the superior rooms all they gave us was a small room equivalent to budget rooms we saw the superior room the other day which was as displayed in the pictures but since we had a lot of stuff decided to not shift rooms and continue. Towels aren’t changed daily , the staff at reception in the evening shift told us that they dont do your bed instead they replace your towels. On the 4th day of stay they didnt clean our room nor they changed towels

Decent and standard rooms. Service is great. We stayed here during Christmas time when everything is pretty much closed and it seemed like they were short staffed. However when we had a minor issue in the room, they were quick to rectify it. Breakfast is available in the hotel. There is a 7/11 close by for quick snacks and other shopping.

Rooms are not very comfy, beds are no good. Breakfast was average but service was excellent.

Though breakfast service was good, the entire place is very compact and the experience is not very good as you have to wait a lot to get a place to sit. It becomes especially difficult if you are not alone. Rooms are very small. A few rooms have sea and bridge view.

Nice hotel with small rooms. We got upgraded which was nice else our big bags wouldn't even open in the standard room. The staff is very good and helpful. Breakfast is basic. Location is perfect, walkable from city center.

Very good location. Clean. Good breakfast. Parking garage (200 meters away) Parking: very narrow exit. Be careful especially when exiting from the parking.

Location does matter. It is very accessible to most of the tourist attractions in Tromso. We ended up paying close to 3,000 NOR for one night. Enter Amalie Hotel is not the only hotel that offers unexpected high cost. Be prepared to pay a lot more in Tromso.

We got a room in the fifth floor for the first two nights. The room heater was not enough and water heater was also not good. For the last two nights we stayed in the third floor. Heating was good. Breakfast was good. No chicken. There is some pie and milk/café available all time. Very friendly and helpful receptionists. Lot of hotels nearby. You get some discount with this hotel reservation at some restaurants. The pick up point for the most tours is nearby.

Quite nice, very nice and easy going service! Tiny little room but was sufficient for sleeping purposes. Very good location. Quiet. Had an early trip leaving before the breakfast service, was hoping to get a packed breakfast to go but I didn't. Otherwise, nice.

Located in the city center, this was a nice discovery. It is a shame we had already booked in a big chain hotel and this was an addition to our trip and we couldn't stay longer. Both hosts were very kind and with nice conversation, eager to help and describe whatever you may need and do in Trømso. Complimentary pies, coffee and waffles definitely help you enjoy your stay. Cozy and tidy rooms, good lobby and nice dining room. We had an early check-in and it was no trouble to stay at the dining room and leave the baggage in the baggage room until our chack-in later. For staying here you can get a complimentary discount in Kaia restaurant.

Reached at 12 midnight. It was locked. No one to open it. No one at the reception. They never informed when we booked online. Did not clean room inspite of requesting the reception.

The staff was amazing. Especially the Spanish lady at the front desk. She made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to make sure we got some breakfast even though we left the hotel before 6 in the morning. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel is very well located near the center and has several bus stops within walking distance. The room is slightly on the side of small and the breakfast room can get crowded at peak times.

Staff very accommodating. Bathroom is quite small. You have to signify if you want to change linens. It's not automatic. Breakfast is good.

Amazing customer service! Quite and comfy place. Everything was excellent from the check in to check out!

Small, dated, weird layouts, but warm at least and the breakfast is passable. It's not a good hotel, but it's a bed for a night if you have no other options, because when we booked this wasn't respectively cheaper than some better reviewed hotels within Tromso central.

Good value for your money. Clean and central. Close to the ferries. The best thing is the kindness, courtesy and professionalism of the staff at the front desk. The worst is the size of the single bed (very single very small!!!) and the mattress are not the best. Thank you.

Very accommodating for our late arrival, breakfast is amazing and the staff is lovely. The room was good enough, doesn’t smell good all the time but we slept well and we had hot water and coffees teas etc…I definitely will book again :)

Excellent position in the city. Super friendly staff. The permission of early check-in has been very kind. Despite of the Budget Double Room, it is small but enough for a short accommodation. Heating and heat water are good. The shower cabin is a little bit narrow but usuable. A kettle with tea, coffee is in the room. Breakfast is reach and delicious. During the day free coffee and tea with some cakes are in the lobby. The kind receptionist girl offered and prapared for us some sandwiches because of our very early check-out. Recommend, recommend, recommend!!!
