Amazing and unusual place. Sort of "unfortunately disapearing ones". Owning and running lady is very nice, smiling and talkative. Appeared to be "Tromso's local patriot" who wants to save this place for future generations. As the kiosk is from 1911 - it's being kept almost unchanged, with this period music played. Small "garden" when you can sit and enjoy your i.e. reindeer hot-dog (seats covered with reindeers' skins, live fireplace) creates amazing atmosphere. It's such pitty, bar is open so short..

Vintage sausage kiosk with a twist. Pølser (sausages) made of local ingredients. Choose between reindeer&beef, pork or vegan. The lady serving the hot dogs is super friendly. A must try in Tromsø!

A rare cheap eats in Tromso!!! Went here on 26-Feb-2019 and tried the famous hot dog. The taste is quite decent but definitely a good value for money especially considering there's not much cheap eats around Tromso. Located in the city central. Staff was quite friendly as well. Accept credit card. There is some outdoor seating available.

The best hot wine I ever proved, the girl who attended me was very kind and even helped me with tips for typical Norwegian food

Excellent hot dogs! Must try both flavours: Reindeer, and Pork + Beef (v juicy n succulent). Ask for all toppings 👍 The hot red wine drink with almond + raisin toppings (Glogg) was v yummy too! Very friendly English speaking owner. PS: you can't drink alcohol on the move (fine of NOK$5000). So finish up your booze at the mini campfire area beside her stall :)

Great outdoor spot with animal hide seat. The lady inside is very friendly. Lovely hot dogs and beers. Will try the hot wine next time.

A must try treat or meal in Tromsø, Norway! We discovered this single-person operated kiosk on Tromsø, Norway and it was a great find! The kiosk has existed since 1911. They serve beer, mixed drinks, hot chocolate, hotdogs (pork+beef, reindeer+beef, with a selection of delicious toppings), hot wine (several ingredients including almonds and raisins) and probably other things I have not had the chance to try yet. And they have a few small benches (one with reindeer hide on top of seat) beside a hanging metal bowl, but also another place to eat behind the kiosk that still needs a roof (sitting in a foot of snow or eating in a heavy snow downfall can dampen your food and drink).
