Beautiful park! Lovely walk, lake is pretty and the dams are flowing. Cute rock waterfall.

Really beautiful park with miles of different hiking trails. Some are very well traveled and smooth, others are a bit rougher so bring shoes that can get muddy. Nice to be able to get in the woods so close to the city.

It was absolutely a beautiful and romantic Park with many challenging, interconnected trails and hikes. There was a nice small dam inside this park. I went on a rainy day so the hike was muddy and hard to track. I hope I can visit it on a nice sunny summer day

What a great park and location for biking, hiking, running, walking, easy accessible for all fitness and physical levels. Always beautiful and you can find plants blooming all over the park. Lakes for fishing and other water sports. Give it a try as there is something for everyone.

One of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to. Gorgeous reflections, picnic tables, memorial benches, easy trails or ones with a little more challenge. The dam was so cool, the potholes are amazing, the falls and running water are my passion... nice people along the way. Definitely, well be my go to park.

AmazIng area for hiking, pet n bike allowed as well. I take the biggest loop, lake to lake loop trail via Lacamas greek, which is almost 5 miles. Also there are tons of area in the middle that should nt miss. My favorite spot is Woodburn falls. Trails well not marked so i always use my own map. There are plenty of parking spots.

Beautiful place to take your family and relax! Hiking trails are many and interconnected, some are easy and some are moderately challenging. The lake is perfect for kayaking having a dip on a hot day, and there are plenty of picnic tables with grills for gatherings.

Great for nature walks, some parts can be an incline/decline depending on what trail you take. I would definitely say all kid friendly. Playground, swimming permitting weather and algae blooms so watch for those warnings. Lots of picnic tables and park grills as well as hot coal dumping stations.

Took my dog walking for St.Jude Children's Research Hospital and he loved it. Families playing, people fishing, kayaking and boating going on. Great place, and the Lakeside Market is awesome to grab drinks and snacks.

My wife originally discovered Round Lake as a kayaking destination, and it has evolved (for us) into a place for easy hikes and picnicking. With every visit, we've explored paths that we haven't been on before. Trail maps with "you are here" are placed at critical spots throughout the park, though we also find that taking a picture of one can help confirm that we're heading the right way. The main parking lot near the northwest corner of the lake is on the small side. There is additional parking north of the lake, down the street where the path around Round Lake takes you. The main paths are wide, smooth, and well maintained, which I find to be a huge benefit. When I'm hiking, and have to constantly be looking at my feet, watching out for roots and loose rocks, I don't get to enjoy my surroundings much at all. If you decide to visit the waterfalls in the park, you will find secondary trails that can be much steeper and narrower. The cascading destinations are worth the extra work.

Had a very nice time coming here for a walk! The trails are nicely kept and plentiful, and there's some really beautiful views of the falls. I didn't see much wildlife at all though, and not any local vegetation showcased, like some other parks do.

Love this park for easy going walks! Nice woods right outside of Vancouver to get a way too. There’s 3 really nice waterfalls around too. There’s quite a few different trails to explore too. Also the main lake loop. It can get a little confusing if you never been before and your trying to find the falls but there are a few maps so make sure to look at them closely and they will get you to where you want to go. Beautiful woods and water features. There were even wildflowers when I went 🙂

Beautiful park with many trails and activities around the Round lake: fishing, swimming, diving, kayaking, peddling boats, and many hiking trails along the creek with waterfall. Just a popular weekend spot for families.

Last week in April 2022 UPDATE--------The Camas Lilies in the lily fields are in full bloom now. WOW--Seen this many times but the lilies were so beautiful in the light rain that we had today. Lacamas Park and Round Lake are total urban hiking gems in the area. Great trails honeycomb this park including a trail circumnavigating Round Lake. There are waterfalls , bike routes, hiking trails, restrooms, picnic areas and plenty of places to explore. Parking can be an issue on weekends . It may require parking a bit further away and walking into the park. There are several access points and trail heads. There are also maps interspersed around the park. There is handicap parking available but HC parking is limited to first -come first -served. CAMAS LILIES One major springtime reason to hike the park are the beautiful Camas Lilles located in the lily meadows at the top of the park. They carpet the area with a purple blanket that is spectacular. The lily fields are truly a sight to behold. April 7 2022 Update--The camas lilies are not in bloom yet . There are a few buds but it looks like we are a week or 2 away depending on the weather. Prime time is usually mid April to end of April again depending on the weather. Highly Recommended Park GO!

This was a great park and small hike for kids. The hike around the lake is just over a mile and long enough for kids. There were other trails to explore as well but we didn't do those. Had a nice picnic after while kids played at the park.

This is a really beautiful park with nice picnic benches and access to the water. We did a around 3 mile hike around the lake and it was moderately challenging, and very rewarding. Great spot for a picnic, or fishing, or just somewhere to get a little outside time. Watch out for poison oak I think we might’ve seen a little bit.

Pretty nice spot to get in a 4 mile hike right next to home. Picnic spots in the north, trails in the south. Only bathroom is near the parking lot. Good for mushroom hunting / observing, get your iNaturalist app out.

Great trail walking if you have pets or some mobility issues. There’s some incline but if you are recovering from an injury it’s an easy walk. Just keep dogs on leash and out of the water. There are a few parking areas but recommend going early-ish to get a spot.

Lacamas lake is always a great place to go for a walk, a hike or even a swim if you’re brave enough. From a mile walk around the lake to a 6 mile hike along the creek, this place has waterfalls, trees and some fantastic scenery.

Went fishing at Round Lake this morning. It was a really cold morning, but turned out worthwhile. My nephew landed a trout right after our arrival. Maybe a half-hour later he landed a second, big one. Then I managed to land one of my own.

This is a good place to stretch your legs that isn’t a street surface. It’s pretty with trees and wildlife but don’t expect solitude. There’s always a lot of people there and the bicycles are horrendous although the riders are generally polite

Beautiful. Peaceful. I hated how people with bikes almost ran into us on the walking trails in the forest. I enjoyed the walk and water. Top favorite trails!!!

Was beautiful and the park was well maintained. Definitely a good hike. It would be a very muddy hike if you did it when it's wet.

Love this gem in southwest Washington. So many trails to take and beautiful sites along the way. Waterfalls, wildflowers and watersports for all to enjoy. There is also a playground, grills and picnic tables for all to enjoy!
