This place was ok. It was not the greatest place but I've been to a motel 6 better than this. It needs a lot of updates. The staff not too friendly and the rooms smelled like smoke even thought non smoking. The rooms were fairly clean but the rooms looked dated. Walls and ceiling a little bit dirty. Also, not enough plugs to plug in all the devices. Room walls are thin. Breakfast was ok, not enough choices. Pool area could be cleaner. Rooms have limited towels and pillows. Don't ask for pre because they don't have any towels to give out. You must return the towel that you used already before they can give you new ones. We did not have enough towels for 4 people.

Don’t stay here! I’m guessing the good reviews came from the friends and family of the owners. Place is run down, and falling apart. The room smelled like they coated it in some stinky air freshener. The floor was also lumpy under the carpet. The guy at the front desk didn’t speak very good English, and was very rude. Good luck getting extra towels, or more than 1 room key.

Pretty nice and clean for the price.the staff was OK as well. The room could have been a little more deep cleaned. Like you could tell someone had thrown up all over the toilet cause it was still on the back of the toilet besides that it was nice. I have stayed in alot worse for the same price in Portland.

Let me just tell you, you'll get the Full Portland Oregon experience here. I booked a room online, and check-in was a breeze. The man that situated me not only wreaked of alcohol, but good old cannabis, along with all other staff I encountered. Which, isn't a problem, I'm not complaining. Place seemed deserted at first and throughout cause staff kept sludging to the smoke area to keep the buzz going. Outside of that, it was a place to sleep for the night on my way through. A Very Interesting place.

The room was kind of small they had drugged out people all over the place. We stayed one night. They had kids running up and down the halls and staff did nothing to stop it. One lady left her two kids in the pool area asked my wife to watch them while she went to McDonald's across the street to get them food. 2 hours later she showed back up. The front desk people don't seem to speak very good English, when we asked to whom these children belong, she just gave me a blank stare. The wifi shuts on and off so frequently you can almost not use it. The TV is satellite a d would lose connection as well. I'd like my money back.

The front desk is very friendly. The place is very quiet. It isn’t perfect, but we didn’t come here expecting the Hilton. It is better than some of the motel 6’s in the area.

If you’re in the mood for a meter binge or to inhale mold and or get robbed, this is your place! This place is terrible! The young guy that works in the morning specifically. As I was taking a bath I noticed mold in the tile grout and the toilet hadn’t properly been cleaned. Lots of traffic, (obvious drug deals!) no elevator because the owner thinks it’s “too expensive” I called and asked for late checkout, was yelled at and told no. My husband I were asked to share ONE ROOM KEY. if you don’t return the key to the guy with the nasty attitude at check out, they try to charge you $25. The night employee with glasses is great, the Hispanic girl was wonderful, the older guy with the accent was cool as well, specifically the young guy in the morning is just terrible and inhospitable. The hotel next door is WAY NICER and way less expensive. Avoid this place

The people here were great, especially the general manager, Ajay. This stay was during the recent Great Freeze...and when their pipes froze and burst Ajay had people on it right away and it was fixed in no time. My only complaint would be the TV, but I suspect that the drastic weather played a part in that. Thanks, guyes!

We literally checked in at around eight or so last night. It is now 11:30 AM. This place I would have to say is pretty amazing already. The front desk lady saw that I was on a bottom floor and disabled. And she offered to move us up immediately without me asking. But all I need is to get my refill and I will be fine. But, the place we just left in the seven months we were there never once offered to move us until there was a fire. And then they only moved us down one floor. These rooms are nice and huge. Beds are comfortable. Love that there are bathtubs and not just a shower. Other than going to the Oregon coast, this is definitely one of the best hotels in Portland I’ve been to. And I’ve definitely been through a lot.

First time I actually left a hotel because it is not conducive to 2022 standards. No need to take pictures, Beds are as hard as truck bed, AC is from 1960 and ran with loud sound, smell room, dark parking lot and just spend $40 more and stay at MY Place Hotel behind it .... 10 folds better!!

This was a very disappointing stay. We booked a non-smoking room, but when we checked in, the smelled really bad. It was definitely a smoking room. I asked for another room, hopping it's not smoking room. However, the second room smelled even worst. I when back to the front desk to talk to the clerk again. She gave me a third room and it snelled even worst. I couldn't even breathe in there. So, we decided to stay in the original room and she gave me an air freshener. We haven't used the sink or the toilet. When went out and came back and tried use the sink and it was clogged and other sink was missing the faucet head and the water shot out water hose when turned on. The toilet seat was nasty. The tissue box was empty. The curtain was broken and cannot close the blind completely. This place should be a one star instead of 2.5. The worst part, i got up to pee at 3:30am and the toilet clogged

The place was dirty, hallways were hot and reeked of weed. No elevator, no window screen, our microwave and TV didn't work and while we did have a phone in our room, there was no phone cord attached to it. The pool was dirty, cold, and waaaay over done with the chemicals. The staff were relatively friendly, but asking for towels, I was only allowed 1, and then went I went for more, I got two pool towels instead that were about the size of a hand towel. The bed was tolerable, except for the fact I had to get in and out of bed in my flipflops because the floor was sticky. The toilet tank didn't fit right and barely flushed. Even the shower sucked and had terrible water pressure. The house keepers started knocking on our door an hour before checkout and then just barged in (knocking stuff out of my wife's hands) at exactly 11am. If I wouldn't have paid ahead for our two nights there, we wouldn't have stayed at all. And we definitely will not go back.

Very accommodating for my dog and I! Multiple front desk workers helped me throughout my stay and they were all friendly and hospitable.

Stayed here for two days while in Portland. The check-in time was 3 pm, but we called the hotel to let them know we would be running late. When we arrived at 10:30 pm, the receptionist informed us that they had given our room to someone else and that they were out of rooms of our type. We could either leave or book a different room type for a higher price. We asked them to call the manager, who arrived in less than an hour and assisted us in securing a comparable room that was undergoing refurbishment. The bathrooms weren't as clean as expected and there was a slight odor from all the new paint. He promised to provide us a new room the following day, but they didn't, and since we already had our travel arrangements made, we didn't want to switch hotels. There was bread and butter, milk and cornflakes (which were a little mushy), coffee, waffle syrup, and apples for breakfast. I only gave the inn one star because of its convenient location and attractive exterior. The pool and jacuzzi, which are unusual there and were enjoyable, earn a second star. Breakfast was provided, and while it wasn't great, it satisfied your morning hunger earning a third star

BEWARE ...DO NOT STAY HERE!! i could leave a no star i would.. This was the first and only time my husband and i stayed here. As it was close by where we needed to be the following day. So my husband was told that they would honor the advertised sale sign out their door. It was for 89$ tax included! Nope not even close. $125 later. THE FRONT desk wanted to charge a $200 fee to have an extra key for the door OF OUR ROOM! WTFH !! The hotel was completely empty upon arrival, the lobby was nice and cool. The moment u step foot past the lobby it is hot and muggy. No elevators (i had back fusion of L3-L5 and discectomy surgery in January so it takes a ton of effort to climb stairs) the maid was cleaning the room next to ours, which seemed odd for an empty hotel. I worked in hospitality for about 20 years. So there was fresh cleaner in the unplugged fridge, small blood splatters on walls or similar looking. Crusty things here and there, THERE WAS an odor i could not put my finger on. But when we returned after our event it was around dusk, the parking lot was semi filled, creepiness all the way around. The next morning was worse for the creepy level. The parking lot also is need of some major make over do to huge pot wholes. I could imagine the pot holes have caused a great deal of issues if someone was not paying attention to the road surface in front of where they are driving..

I had the worst experience this last weekend at this hotel. We stayed here last year and it was fine, I don't know what happened...but everything went downhill fast. The two front desk girls were at each others throats and one even stormed out yelling. It took forever to check in with a line out the door because of all the chaos. They gave me my keys and they didn't work, I took 5 trips back and forth from the lobby to my room trying keys and none worked. They had to let me in themselves all weekend. My rooms air conditioning was broken, the Tv was broken, and there was graffiti all over the artwork in the room. There was a spot of missing carpet that they placed cardboard over and a lamp on top to try to hide it. Then our toilet clogged and the front desk said that they would come immediately and fix it no problem. We went to the Zoo for 6 hours and when I came back it was still clogged. It remained clogged the rest of my stay along with the broken lock, TV, Air conditioner, and broken heater in the pool. It was unbelievable. Will never stay here again!

My experience here would have gotten zero stars if that was an option. The only thing that saved me from leaving a completely negative review, was the absolutely amazing lady who runs the front desk in the morning shift. She went way above and beyond her job description to make sure we were properly accommodated. She deserves a raise to say the least.

My wife said that this was rated at 4.5 stars I had assumed that it was based on the genre in which this hotel fits. I have a decade of experience working in hotels. But even in it's genre I would not give it higher than 1 star. While the staff was friendly and check-in was smooth the overall hotel left much to be desired. From the parking lot that is run down and full of broken glass we headed up to our room. Upon entering the room and looking around we found many of the fixtures to be either broken or having been replaced in a very shoddy way. The room was clean enough save for the headboard which was smeared with grease? Also, if water pressure or consistent temperature is a priority to you, you will not enjoy the shower. Simply put it's a cheap motel and you should know what you're getting but based on the price we paid we expected a little more quality.

Front desk clerks very nice! The bed was soft and I slept like a beauty. Very quiet. Even though the swimming pool heater was broke me and my girls had fun playing and swimming anyways and was very clean.

My wife and I stayed there for 3 days during the 2024 ice storm because our house had no power. The staff was friendly, however, actually getting service requests fulfilled was a challenge. Our room came with 3 small pillows, not enough for 2 adults. It took 2 days to get the pillow. A three floor hotel with maybe 20 cars in the parking lot. Enough pillows to go around. The breakfast food was not good. During the ice storm they only de-iced the sidewalk next to the front door. Getting down to the parking lot which was on a slope was treacherous. Then there was the water pipe noise. Not from our room, but the room above us. It sounded like a jet engine. In conclusion I do not recommend this model at their $100 rate.

The man at the front desk at the Gresham Oregon Hotel was very cordial, however the room was disgusting. The shower curtain had been ripped off the wall and a very poor job of fixing it. The walls were disgusting, the bathroom door was held together with screws around the edges, you had to hold the toilet seat lid up so that you could use the toilet, it wouldn't just stay up. This was the first hotel I've ever checked the bed for bugs before I got in. I'm not sure what's on that bathroom light or when it's been cleaned last or the toilet paper holder. Also when we went for breakfast, the chairs where so filthy you couldn't decide which one you might want to sit it.
