    I came to that hotel at 2 am, and she said to me: “I'm doing paperwork, so I can't check you in now, you have to wait for like an hour. I'll help you when I finished”. Excuse me? Are you seriously? For like an hour at the night? And when I asked her, she's doing that for every night.. You guys need to do something with it. For example, put on your hotel description: “We will NOT CHECK YOU IN these hours” or something like that.

    The AC in the room I was assigned did not work. I ask for a room change and was told they were sold out. I was offered a refund however at 9:30 pm all the decent hotels were out of budget (company cc). A supervisor brought a fan in from their home, however it was just not enough. Everything about the hotel seemed nice BUT no AC is a big blunder.

    Staff was rude. I was told no when I asked for a plunger because when I checked in the toilet was already clogged then next morning we reserved another night then recieved a call telling us that they were cancelling our reservation because the bathroom was bad. But we didn't even use the bathroom or shower. Still waiting for our money back. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

    I'm not one to write bad reviews but I feel absolutely compelled to for this situation. We booked a trip to come down to this hotel through Priceline, and unfortunately it was non-refundable (oops). This was my first time booking a trip, usually my wife handles that but I wanted to surprise the family. As it would turn out, there's a major, record setting heat advisory for the days that we booked. We have two kids, one with autism, and they absolutely cannot handle going out in 100 degree weather. Our son is prone to meltdowns in the heat, it just wouldn't end well. So, we kindly requested a refund through Priceline because of the circumstances. Priceline said that it ultimately came down to the discretion of the motel, but they agreed that the circumstances were unusual and thought that asking for a refund was reasonable. Now, in an automatic reading email they said no, and if that was where it ended I wouldn't even write this review. In a quick email they shot me down, so I decided to call them up and see if I could reason with the manager. She was unavailable that day, so I wrote her an email. The next day passed with no response, so I called them back again requesting the manager. She was busy, so I left a voicemail explaining the situation and requesting a call back. The next day passed with no response, so I called them back, once more requesting the manager. This was basically my last try here, if no response I'll just chalk it up to either a rude or inordinately busy manager. Unfortunately, I got a hold of her and she was MAD. Mid sentence she interrupted me, asking me to stop harassing her and her staff and stop calling, telling me that she'd sufficiently told me that I wouldn't get receiving a refund and her manager (Mary?) had already told me. Apparently Mary wrote the initial response, which I presume was copied/pasted from their policy. I apologized that I'd come off as harassing, and explained that the Priceline agent told me to ask the manager, who I couldn't reach until the 3rd phone call, and again she interrupted me saying that there was nothing that she could do and repeating that I'd already been told that. As a life long introvert, I've had nightmares just like this phone call, so all I could think to do was to accept the outcome and apologize, but of course mid-way through my apology (for her inconvenience I guess, I don't know?) she hung up on me. Cool, thanks Jen, you seem like a nice gal. So, that's that. I can't speak to the quality of the motel, I'm sure it's ok, but unfortunately outcome notwithstanding I'd be terrified to step foot in there. If they didn't refund us, we might still bop down there and just try and stay inside to avoid the heat to still get our family vacation in, but after that phone call I'd rather stay a weekend in a local jail than this place. YMMV.

    Amazing on site staff! The room was clean and the kitchenette nice, simple but effective. The staff is the star of the hotel though. Helpful through every interaction especially in a crazy time. Very pet friendly without an excessively expensive fee ($15). Easy location. Recommend

    Walls and pillows paper thin and pretty rough crowd for neighbors. Spent the entire night hearing people arguing and the people the floor sounded like they were running an obstacle course for hours. Staff reached out to quiet the second floor ruckus but than we were up listening to the next couple fight. Hope the hotel might see some better sound proofing in the future.

    Hskg staff really needs trained Mngr.should check rooms. Front desk nights are very good at the service end and trying to make good when complaints arise. Homeless is very visible here and can be disconcerting with breaking of cars and property. Too sad as the staff here try really hard to make your stay comfortable.

    My Place is such a great place to stay! The manager was so incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating. Not only did she give us a great price she gave us a room with an awesome view. The room was clean with no issues and the area felt safe. Their front desk staff were also very nice and gave great recommendations for places to visit/try. We will be staying here again when visiting Oregon!!

    On my scale, this place earned an 8/10. Safety/Security: 8/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Air Conditioning: 8/10 Electrical outlets: 8/10 Shower: 8/10 Bed comfort: 8/10 Staff: 8/10 Staff was friendly. Room was great. Amenities were great. Shower was great. Air Conditioning was great. Really everything was really nice here. Probably the best hotel we stayed at during our vacation!

    If your looking for a clean room that’s quiet with a comfortable bed book your room at this Hotel. When looking for another quiet get away with my partner we both decided to return. Great customer service everything in the room worked. Thanks My place for providing me with a pleasant stay and comfort.

    As someone who stays in hotels about 50 times a year and travels a lot, I'm so glad I happened across this place. Clean rooms, friendly check-in gal. Coffee in the lobby a mini kitchen in the room. The best part for me is that it was a hassle free check-in as I travel with a medical alert service dog. The lady at the front clearly knew her company policy and ADA laws. As someone with physical disabilities that counts on the quick action of my SD and her potential life-saving alerts. I want to sincerely thank the staff at My place for being ADA educated.

    Rooms are nice with a kitchenette and full size refrigerator. Pet friendly and the staff are very nice and helpful and most importantly they keep this hotel clean. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Full laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers. 8 week stay and I'm not disappointed.

    For the price this place is pretty good! Looks like it’s been recently remodeled. The parking lot has lights on all night to prevent theft. Check in was very easy. I will be staying at this hotel again in the future!

    My husband and I came to Portland for a quick errand that turned out to be the worst weekend of our lives. Our only saving grace was Rina and her amazing service with us. Rina you were a star, an angel, and amazing! Thank you!!!

    I think these are one of my favorite hotels to stay at. I do wish there was a pool and soap for the bathroom though.. but really there is nothing to complain about. Super clean and smoke free! We weren't really enjoying Portland.. and found ourselves just wanting to hang out at the hotel lol.

    Room is huge and hotel is in a good location. Some homeless hanging down the street but hotel is facing the freeway with parking lot. Only problem is spots on carpet in hallway areas. Looks like animal stains bz hotel allows. Customers with animals should be allow only on the first floor. Our room seems to have animal fur on brown strip on bed. Good thing we're not allergic to animals. Don't know if people who are allergic to animals what will hotel do...

    Check in time was the most unaccommodating feature at this hotel. With travelers coming at all sorts times my company set me up to fly in this hotel 12 and checkin is at 3. Hotel staff sat and chatted loudly in the back during the wait time. Pls take you business else where

    This would’ve been a five star review if the hotel had returned my money. I would have happily used this hotel in my travels but now I don’t feel like they have any honesty I booked a 6 night stay for myself and a 3 night stay for my parents. The stay itself was awesome. The place was clean, amenities were good, staff on site were helpful, location was excellent. The problem came when I booked the 3 night stay and moving my parents from a bad hotel to this hotel. I had issues with booking on my phone and accidentally booked for the next weekend. I immediately called and talked in person but the hotel refused to move the date I booked and then refused to refund the money. I attempted one more time in person and got the same line “the person who can help you isn’t here” I waited until after my trip and tried again. I have received no emails back and was once again refused the refund. Edit: I have reached out yet again after seeing this response and have still received no reply and no refund. I was not offered anything in the form of compensation to cover the nearly $400 they happily took from me.

    VERY pleasantly impressed! Room was clean, comfortable and the desk clerk was pleasant. Prices reasonable, especially when compared to the 2 and 3 star hotels! Thank you for a really great stay. 🙂

    Amazing cleanliness, staff is very friendly, Management everybody makes you feel welcome to the hotel. Rooms are very nice and clean would definitely recommend this place to people that stay in Portland area. Thank you for the great hospitality

    New hotel in a fairly quiet part of town. A little out of the way of the old town bustle but nothing too bad. Super clean, the staff is all great.

    Easy check in. Pet friendly. The room was nice and clean . No utensils for the kitchen so you have to bring your own . No breakfast.

    Super sweet staff, comfortable with a good view and kitchenette, great price. Rooms are well sound proofed! There’s a little shop area with lots of different microwavable meals that make eating easy. There’s also pans/utensils and travel sized necessities. Good location, right by several places to eat and by the highway for easy access but not close enough to be bothered by the traffic. Would recommend and would stay here again!
