We stayed at the campground, it was clean and friendly, my only complaint was the electric was not a standard plug, thankfully they sold adapters for $6... The food and service at the resort restaurant was excellent very tasty and reasonable priced. The hiking trails, for the most part were very well marked. However I don't think the mileage is quite accurate. But they were some great trails with lots to see. The caves were also good. Not as big as some I've been in but the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend Cascade cave.

I car camped here with my boyfriend and a couple friends. I would give the campground 2 stars…especially as a car camper, the sites were very close together, offering little privacy. I also prefer more separation between the RV campers as they tend to party harder where as I am trying to sleep well to hike the next day. This is a fairly small park but with lots to see. It doesn’t have as grand of arches as RRG but there were a lot of cool little arches which you can see along the Three Bridges Trail. The Box canyon trail is technically outside the park, and a pretty short trail but really cool so don’t miss it. We did not do any cave tours.

Well kept campground with lots to do! Playgrounds, mini golf, lake, pool, hiking and lots of caves. The park is beautiful, with so many trails, lots of wildlife and caves. The sites are really close. We had full hook ups and appreciated that convenience. Not private but we were there visit family anyway. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to plant trees/flowers/bushes — it would be nice to add more variety of plants within the campground.

It was a really beautiful state park campground. The cave tours are fun and easily accessible, or a bit more adventurous if you're up to the challenge! There are also caves you can go through on your own with a permit (which was free). Just bring closed toed shoes and a flashlight, and prepare to get your feet wet. The actual campground was well maintained and had activities the nights we stayed like glow golf and an ice cream social. The hiking trails were scenic and well marked. A great stop for a family getaway.

This is one of the great hidden gems of Kentucky, especially in late fall! Aside from the caves, there are plenty of trails to hike, with varying degrees of difficulty for casual hikers and options for more experienced hikers. The amenities are plentiful and well-maintained, and park staff are very friendly and helpful. Take the family!

We stopped here for one night on the way through a road trip. We saw so many wildlife while there! It really was a beautiful area. The lodge is older with a lot of history and a neat place. The rooms are like a hotel room - clean (mostly), comfy (mostly). It's a basic room. Very nice that it had a storm door and a balcony out back. Enjoyed that.

Wow, what a place. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is on property, and the food is priced well and really good. The service is nice too. Have a private balcony and seating out on the balcony. We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the lounge area, where you can play games or just chill. Beautiful views of woods. And the trails! Wow. Well maintained and so beautiful. The area is unique and very special. I'm so glad we came here. 🙌 It is the best place to be all seasons. Oh! The best part. They are dog friendly. Jake loved it here!!!!

Nice campground! Some sites have full hook-ups and some just electric and water. Our pull thru site was not level, but we made it work. Be aware that the electric box and water hookups might be far away,so bring your extra hose and electric cord.

Such a great place. The lodge was nice, food was good, staff was excellent and the hotel rooms were nice and clean. There is a restaurant inside the lodge as well. The guides were exceptional, especially since we were with a bunch of kids. Grades 4th-8th. Tons of activities to do and the staff was very knowledgeable. Will return for sure. Nice local getaway or great for out of state guests as well. Make sure you visit at least once in your life! Family fun and fun without kids too I'm sure.

RV park was designed for smaller trailers. If you're over 35' be prepared to go off-road a bit to avoid having your trailer fall off the driveways. All of this would be easily fixable if the park was interested in improving the property. The fact that it isn't done already is telling. But it was still OK, we managed.
