Fancied up versions of classic Peruvian home cooking in what looks at first like an elegant setting. But a lot is for show and very superficial, and that's true of the food too - it's rather good, but not level it purports to be, and overpriced.

Mediocre, overpriced food. Tourist trap. A couple small dining rooms in the front, nicely decorarated but the bulk of customers are served in a huge second rate if that, banquet hall. Noisy, slow, poor service. If you are looking for a quality Peruvian dining experience, skip this.

You might think that a dresscode is required here. But after sitting down on a chair covered with white cloth you discover that you're actually sitting on a white, wobbly, plastic one. The service is mediocre as for instance we had to ask for knives for our meats. Quality of food resembles one of the street food that you can get for a third of the price. Their idea of a salad is a bunch of lettuce covered with couple slices of veggies (literally like 2 of each). Said that the portion is quite generous, so if you're really hungry (as we were) you'd at least make your stomach full. Toilets... They look like taken form a horror film with flashing lights and no toilet paper. I don't recommend it.

We went here a few times while in Trujillo. The food and service were always good, but no tie or heels are necessary. It pegs itself as the top tier option, but plastic chairs and (loud) football games on TV might suggest otherwise. If you're in the neighborhood and want good food, try El Mochica. If, however, you want that top tier option and to spend some money on unique plates, there are other options.

Good quality food with excellent service. Menu is not available in English so needs decoding for a non-Spanish speaker. If you're in the area, it is highly recommended.

The food, drinks and desserts are extremely delicious. Every time I return to Trujillo, my natal city, I make a mandatory stop here Specialities: criolla food, ceviche, shambar (only mondays) I recommend: Ajiaco de cuy, ceviche mixto, seco de pato. Ps: always leave room for the traditional desserts :)

Can enjoy fresh food and also entertainment available. I really loved sea food which was served there.

Black tie service for my non-black tie travels. Good food and service at a reasonable price.

👍 This hotel-turned-restaurant has a gorgeous interior with quality food. Unfortunately when we went they were out of the majority of their dishes and service was slow, but the food they did have was still delicious. I recommend going earlier in the day (for lunch or an early dinner) and expecting to...

👍👍 Really cozy place, they serve both national and Angus beef. We tried the Angus T-Bone steak , it was fantastic, very juice, and cooked just how I asked. They serve their steaks with salad and french fries, each in a different plate. The salad was really good too. It's a little bit pricey, specially...
