Nice but small archeological site. Not as impressive as the several sites with sarcophagus near Chachapoyas but much much easier to reach. Just 20 min ride outside Cajamarca. It's a short but pleasant walk around the site with good views.

Amazing place just above a village. It's not a large place. It literally just standing in front of it listening to your guide talk about it and did he talk a long time.

Not a large site, but given its proximity to Cajamarca, worth the trip out. I recommend going by combi bus which can easily be found at the Plazuela Bolognesi heading for Otuzco. Cost is 1-2 soles and takes about 1/2 hour. Beautiful area and an interesting bit of history. Most tour companies come in the afternoon, so a morning arrival will give you better views with less crowds.

Very very cool. Could be managed better and have clearer signs to direct foot traffic. Overall it is an interesting site

Very crowded for sure. Be ready to a little hike with narrow ways. Recommended to be in good fit to be able to do the hike without any serious breathing issues. Taxi charged us 30 soles from Baños del Inca to Ventanillas de Otuzco. We go there around 4:30 pm on Friday. When we came down, the entrance was really flooded with people and a lot of big tour buses were blocking the way. Hopefully the government plans to expand the road and have more organized traffic. If you want to see other Ventanillas and less crowded, go to Yapa.
