I love going to the Family Dollar on Flats between Elton and Locke. As soon as you walk in you will be greeted with a very warm, " good morning" or " good afternoon welcome to Family Dollar". The staff at Family Dollar is awesome, and ever so helpful. Once I went to purchase something in the morning. That afternoon I was looking for my metro card. I remembered that I was in the Family Dollar Store and may have left my Metro Card there. When I went back to find out a work by the name of Shamell gave me my Metro card. She held all day until she saw me. That means so much to me. All of the staff at this particular Family Dollar Store are so helpful to all the customer's. Ms. Karen is also very helpful and very nice. Any time I need assistance with purchasing or finding a purchase Ms. Karen is very helpful. The BEST Family Dollar Store, and so convenient.

Conveniently located, usually well stocked and, more importantly, affordable. Staff there make a solid effort to tend to the needs of their customers. I recall a few months ago, I showed up and they didn't have a particular cereal. Once I approached one of the employees there, they put in an order to have it restocked for my next visit (which was a plus). On a recent visit, I over purchased and didn't have enough arms to carry my groceries. The cashier at the time was highly accommodating in tending to my bags while I quickly left and returned with my vehicle. Recommended for folks on a budget.

When this store first opened they had a flock of cashiers. They even had a security guard by the front. They have got rid of the cashiers and have only one in the front. The lines are long and slow. Why do they think the black community wants such service. We deserve much better. They do not have prices on all the items. Folks need to know the prices. The store is sort of cramped and they need security in there. At least the cashier was not rude. They are charging more than a dollar for many of the items. I only go there for ajax, paper towel and dish washing liquid soap. The food sold here is not of the best quality, so I do not buy anything to eat from here. I liked Dollar Tree much better before the pandemic. Now everything is going down to the ground. New York is going to the dogs, thanks to Covid-19.

Family Dollar is great. I actual prefer it over Dollar Tree. I can find most of everything I need for my home in one spot without having to go to different stores to grab certain things.

I did a quick Family Dollar run the day before the 4th of July. I just grabbed a few items, not many customers we're in the store which was great for me! Friendly service fully stocked shelves, social distancing maintained. Best Family Dollar I've been to.

9/11/21 First time at the location. Found everything that I needed. Clean organized with a wonderful greeting (keep it up). Yes I will be back often. Next time at opening time with my shopping cart. Thanks for being in the neighborhood. Neighbor😇.. P.S. I will be sharing photos.

Family Dollar at this Flatlands location was very clean and everything was in its place. To me it looks like everybody is doing their job to the best of their ability. Wish all Family Dollar stores could be this way.

Very friendly staff. Every customer that walked in was greeted and the employees had a smile. The shelves were fully stocked.
