Went
swimming
here
today,
mixed
reactions
about
the
pools.
Pros:
-
Huge
-
Two
pools,
one
of
which
is
only
1-2
feet
deep
and
therefore
great
for
young
children,
the
main
one
has
a
depth
of
3-10
feet
(so
you
can
jump
in
at
one
end)
-
Having
gone
on
a
weekday,
I
did
not
find
it
too
crowded
-
Changing
areas,
which
are
outdoors
by
the
way,
have
individual
stalls
for
privacy,
something
not
seen
at
all
NYC
pools
-
Easy
access
to
subway
and
Highbridge
to
the
Bronx
-
The
water
tower
provides
an
interesting
backdrop
-
The
main
pool
has
a
zero-depth
entrance
ramp,
great
for
those
with
mobility
impairments
and
for
slowly
adjusting
to
the
water
temperature
-
Long
set
of
tiered
concrete
seats
for
spectating/relaxing
-
Beats
the
heat
Cons:
-
The
paint
on
the
floor
of
the
pool
was
chipping
off
all
over
the
place;
in
one
spot
you
could
clearly
see
the
bare
concrete
beneath
it.
I
hope
it
gets
redone
this
off-season.
-
There
were
far
too
few
ladders,
making
it
seem
difficult
to
exit.
I
actually
believe
it
does
not
comply
with
standards
to
this
extent
-
While
it's
possible
to
jump
in,
the
deep
end
has
a
railing
along
most
of
it
and
temporary
barriers
are
set
up
by
most
of
the
openings,
so
you
have
to
squeeze
by
the
lifeguard
post
and
walk
along
the
edge
-
I
was
told
that
there
used
to
be
diving
boards,
but
these
were
taken
away
-
There
are
two
structures
in
the
middle
of
the
pool
that
a
while
ago
were
spray
features,
but
have
been
decommissioned
since
people
climbed
on
them?
I
don't
see
what
difference
it
makes
if
the
fountains
are
still
there
sitting
dormant?
-
Lifeguards
were
sure
blowing
their
whistles
frequently,
and
yes
I
did
notice
some
horseplay,
although
I
did
not
feel
unsafe
